Those who know me well, knows how much of a breakfast person I am. I believe in the saying, 'Eat breakfast like a king 👑' (Though i don't follow that everyday at home 🥺) Being foodies by hobby, many ppl has asked for our suggestions for a good breakfast buffet in Coimbatore. Though we have tried some places for brunches, we haven't really tried much places for breakfast buffet in the city. Back in the year 2018 we stayed at welcomhotel for some occasion n LOVED THEIR ROOMS. We then tried their breakfast buffet for 2/3 days straight & trust me I am not at all exaggerating, I really fell in love with their AMAZING spread the very instant we tried it. Each day their menu changed & it kept wanting us to stay for longer & try more of what they were going to offer. After that I left the country & came back only before covid. So obviously during the pandemic n everything we didn't go out for dining in much. Post the lift of restrictions, we went there once for their a la carte lunch. And then last week we went for their Breakfast buffet on a Sunday morning & here goes our review for the same, The spread & quality were so wide with excellent choices; starting from cereals, english breads, fruits, choice of hot & cold beverages, fresh fruit juices, idli, dosa, uthapam, pongal, bisibellabath, aloo paratha, poori masala, cut fruits, sauteed vegetables, pancakes, fresh toast, omlette, eggs, hash browns, etc. Food was so fresh, scrumptious & has got high value for money. I've tried 'n' number of places for buffet breakfast while travelling & living outside coimbatore. And I'd easily say that this is one among my favourite hotels. I personally enjoyed their south indian food very much which came with super authentic, traditional & lip smacking sides (chutney). Nevertheless, their continental food didn't fail to impress us either. Pancakes were lovelyyyyy. I only wish they had waffles n croissants which are my most favourites. But regardless of it, we thoroughly had so much fun n enjoyed their lovely food. Their sauteed vegetables were so delicious too. Fresh fruit juices & butterscotch milkshake stole my heart. And I must talk about their service, Chakri who handled our table was always there to assist us by offering & suggesting their must trys with a genuine smile in his face. Great food + great hospitality + excellent service = are enough to steal my heart 💜 I mean these are the major aspects I always see at any star hotel I visit/stay at (talking specifically about the f&b perspective here). And welcomhotel has always been on the 'best loved' hotel in my heart ❤️

One of best fine dining star restaurant in covai. Only in very few hotels you get best veg food. The service is surprising fast and the taste is very good. Price is bit on higher side which justifies the ambiance and taste. The place looks bit congested but that does not affect the dinning experience. Only negative is they charred the Naan and they replace immediately.

The breakfast buffet served there is scrumptious. There is a variety of Indian food and continental food. Dishes like dosas, pooris, eggs, pancakes, etc. are made to order. And the service is great too!

I opted for MAP plan where I feel cheated with some extra amount pounded for such bad tasteless food. The buffet spread is too less under the tag of ITC. The service boys are not bothered whether the table is set to dine which I observed repeatedly the same. Even they don't bother to give water on the table. The tagging of food is extremely poor. Being a vegetarian I have by mistake taken chicken in white sauce which was looking like small paneer. Even when we were dinning their one senior manager (maybe the hotel senior most) also came for dining and after seeing this the staff were busy to serve him and it seems that he was also enjoying the privilege. We were requesting for some water and ice cream in front of him but it was not served there. DONT OPT FOR THEIR FOOD EVER. I will be more than glad to get the refund of money which I wasted on the MAP plan. I gave feedback at the reception counter also but they gave a deaf ear to it.

The restaurant ambience is good. The following has to be noted for vegetarian food 1. Worst service. 2. Ethnic thali is not upto the expectation. 3. Starters will be served for dessert. 4. There was no proper response from service. 5. The clarity of menu can be improved. 6. The cost paid does not justify with the food quality. It was a horrendous experience.

Yummy breakfast. Spread was great. I loved the sambhar, doughnut and spicy chutney. Every plate, tumbler, cutleries were neatly covered. A place to taste yum south Indian food.

One of the finest places in Coimbatore where I have tasted a tasty vegetarian buffet. Though the options were limited, the taste still lingers in the taste buds.

I visited Welcomcafe on 9th April Sunday with my family. Looks like they set up a special Easter breakfast buffet(But I never found anything special. Expect Easter egg candy) So we were billed 1700 + taxes per person. That’s fine. Food was on average. No welcome drink. You should pay extra money if you need juice or welcome drink. Zero hospitality. Don’t expect all people to be treated the same. I’ve noticed that everybody is treated differently. It will vary from how you look.. The waiters were treating few of them very well. Sounds like they’re rich. This may be why they are treated well. Not a single waiter asked us what we wanted and how the food tasted. Like they’re giving us free food. Yesterday, I regretted my decision with lunch at the Welcomcafe. Don’t waste your money on going to this place. Better look for other buffet options in Coimbatore. I suppose many hotels provide better food and treat with everyone with great hospitality.

We had an amazing lunch experience with our guests on 6th March 23. Your culinary skills were truly outstanding and made our meal an unforgettable one. From the first bite to the last, every dish was beautifully presented and was bursting with flavor. The ingredients were fresh and expertly combined to create a delightful taste sensation. A big shout out to Mr. Erine Louis, GM of this property, Chef David and their team for the experience 👍

I am writing this review little late, was caught up in few things. We had visited for my Mother's Birthday. The Service was very pathetic. We had a feeling that we went there to get some free food. The staff look completely disconnected. The system of having Menu on App was very annoying. Giving two stars for the food .Food was the only good part. Hope they will improve the experience.

Amazing Spread of Breakfast at Welcom Cafe Kovai.... Along with the Tasty Food and Juices the ambience was of top quality... The interiors are neatly done and sets the tone for the food...

You may pass the weekend buffet if given an option. Snacks are cold, salad looked and tasted tacky. Only the chicken biryani was good. Nowhere near real ITC standards.

Limited food spread. Just 2 veg and 2 non veg starters. Even the desserts were limited. Expected a better spread from a star hotel. Not worth for the money we pay. I would prefer to visit residency where the options are umpteen for the same cost with a better service.

For the exorbitant price they charge, the buffet was very underwhelming! The choice was very limited. The taste was also just average! There were flies around the counter while we were taking food ( there was someone swatting them with an electric bat though, to be fair). The icing on the cake was that we were seated at a table just under a leaking AC! The reason we chose ITC is because their food has always been amazing Eg: ITC Grand Central or ITC Maurya etc...this felt like such a let down!

I maybe had too high expectations from this place. I went for the Sunday Brunch with my family. While they said the spread is multi cuisine, majority of the dishes were south Indian. The spread was a treat for non vegetarians but for my parents there were a handful of veg options. The taste of the food was so average, the paneer tikka had no marination just some red chilly powder sprinkled on it, the crispy veg starter was soggy, the awadi paneer gravy liked green that is not how awadhi paneer looks forget th taste, there were only sweet veg salads in the spread.thr spread was not kid friendly at all, everything was either spicy or too local. No pizza pasta or noodles. The only noodles they kept were spicy. When I asked if they could give me a small portion of just boiled noodles for my toddler the chef said no. Th only saving grace was the chat counter which had decent and authentic taste options. Now let's come to the service. I booked a table for 12:30pm because i was told by the restaurant staff that that's when the Sunday brunch startes. At the time of booking I was given clear instructions that for kids 6 and above they charge half or as per ala cart menu. My family arrived at 12:40pm, there was no one to check if we made a reservation or not. The buffet was not set and far from ready. We found ourselves a table and arranged it to fit my family for 6. Still no staff around to assist. When we waited for th buffet to start, by now it was 1pm. The staff was still setting up cutlery on the tables. There were no table napkins on our table, on asking for it we got paper napkins. The breads were bought on a plate and not in a bread basket, we were done with our food and moved to desserts and we're struggling to find dessert spoons to fit the tiny shot glasses of rasmalai tiramisu which my father said was nice. I saw other guests also struggling for dessert spoons. I wanted to pack something for home so I ordered chicken noodles, the staff was kind and said yes. 15 mins later I asked about the noodles and that's when he tells me there is no ala cart today. I'm not a picky customer but these are some basics, I'm a ex-hotelier so I know what great service looks like but this was not even average for the price I paid. I felt so ripped off that I regret my decision of dining at an "ITC". My heart would hav been content with food service and price if I had visited a stand alone restaurant. I don't write long reviews too but this is how frustrated I was after dining there. Funny thing, we went there to celebrate my dad's birthday, after all this I didn't feel like cutting the cake and we came home disappointed.

Great ambiance and good rooms as expected. Food was average. Staffs were always there to help.

Dinner buffet was disappointing. Not only was the spread/variety of items low, the food was flavorless. I found the cream of spinach soup and cottage cheese dumplings to be good.

The BEST HOTEL FOOD, amazing friendly staffs, they were with mask-on all the time! Kudos to the team !! Had the best Lunch Buffet on Sunday, almost 30 variety dishes... Had a blast. Breakfast spread was amazing too. Clean tasty & Wonderful experience. Love it! Will definitely visit again.

We arrived right after breakfast had ended and before lunch was to start. Luckily for us, the restaurant was kind enough to allow us to order lunch ahead of their scheduled start window. Great waitstaff, delicious food. Lovely ambiance too. We’re only passing through on our way to Ooty, but from my experience in their restaurant, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this little gem of a hotel.

The place has great ambience but absolutely off putting service. The staff is poorly trained to attend and lack courtesy. Wouldn't recommend anyone who has time constraints.

We had a Worst experience…. There were no ample amount of Menu, most of those are not tasty, some not well cooked, and very less choice of Deserts.. worst Biryani…… waste of money ….

The dinner service was excellent but was let down by the lack of flavours in the breakfast. Maybe I had heightened my expectations after the dinner last night but I was disappointed by the breakfast to say the least. Hence 4 stars for food.

The food was delicious, no doubt about that. While some of the dishes were absolutely spot-on and easy to comprehend, there were others that had a unique take on standard North Indian dishes, which, although it took me a little time to adjust to, tasted very different and interesting. For example, their take on Dal Tadka and Paneer Makhani was utterly beautiful as they had finished off the dishes in South Indian spices. After that, I ordered Dal Tadka in every meal, haha. The breakfast buffet was pretty good as well, with enough items of food and drinks. I really liked that they had both egg and eggless dessert options. Moreover, the waiting staff was always quick to serve and patiently heard my requests. Yes, they did have some nervous trainees amongst them, who got confused with my order more than once, but they were trying equally hard and looked serious about the job, so I appreciated them whenever I could. By the way, I would really recommend their grilled sandwiches. They were exquisite!

ITC hotels wherever I have gone have training staff and untrained service. Same with ITC coimbatore or ITC maratha mumbai. Food is very mediocre always.

Review on Dinner..Good customer service, friendly n attentive staffs..but coming to food very disappointed..seeing so many positive reviews expected gud food..felt like waste of money ..only 3 or 4 dishes were good..

Very nice ambience and food. The service was slightly slow being a weekend

Pathetic experience. 25 mins after we arrived, there was still no sign of anyone coming to take the order. Finally the orders were placed and I had specifically asked if a particular dish was vegan, I was told that it was vegan. 30 minutes after that, they informed me that one of the dishes was not available and I should place a different order. I agreed and changed my order. 25 minutes after that, I was again informed that the dish which I had asked was in fact not vegan and that I should change my order again. Walked out after wasting almost an hour and half and no food! No one even bothered to ask what the problem was. Never again stepping foot inside this place.

We were staying at the hotel and had a light breakfast as we're heading for a engagement party. The food were nice and quite filling. Next I want to try it at a leisurely basis
