I never miss this when in Magelang. The wedang kacang is sooooo good. It's so creamy and tasty. OMG! Youd better come before the place is open. This is sold out very quickly. The palce is open at 5pm but at 5.30, the wedang kacang has gone.

A tiny stall which serve unique taste of peanut porridge with sticky rice. There are also fried tofu and lumpia filled with bamboo shoots, and traditional banana cake. They also serve bakso and fried rice.

The shop is small tucked away on the riverbank. At first I was hesitant to taste the 'wedang Kacang' here because the shop is small. But there are a lot of visitors who want to buy wedang. I'm so curious to taste the taste of Wedang Kacang here We ordered 'Wedang Kacang' and 'Wedang Ronde'. 'Wedang Kacang': Savory, not too sweet, the peanuts are clean and when you put them in your mouth, they immediately melt. 'Wedang Ronde': Tasted ginger, and uniquely the water of the wedang is clear as clear as the morning dew, the filling of the wedang ronde is all delicious. "Wedang kacang" is a hot drink made from ground peanuts. It is boiled with coconut sugar to create a milky beverage served with "ketan" sticky rice. This hot drink is a Central Java delicacy, and this one in Magelang is a famous one for all the right reason. Sweet, milky, yet also quite filling, it's a perfect evening delicacy for cold nights in Magelang. "Wedang ronde" is another famous hot drink from the region. The name "ronde" refers to rice balls filled with melting coconut sugar -- you can say traditional bobba before it was cool. The 'broth' is made from hot ginger syrup, served with sweetened "kolang-kaling" fruit, fried peanuts, and -- interestingly -- "emping melinjo" chips. It's not the best version of ronde, but the addition of emping is surely an interesting one. Made sure to try their banana satay. It is not grilled as the name implies, but rather coated in a dough made from coconut milk and flour, like traditional "nagasari" dessert.

Best wedang kacang in town I really like the sweetness that is perfectly balanced with the glutinous rice What's amazing is that the wedang kacang are both delicious in hot and cold condition ✨👍🏻 Truly a wonder They also serve heavy meals but might be too sweet for people who are not used to java style. There are also some snacks like banana satay and tofu filled with bamboo shoots 🎍
