Magelang city square is a tourist park in the middle of Magelang. Where The atmosphere is very exciting. With cool weather, there is a culinary center, and many coffee places (angkringan) lined up on the roadside. As well as the icon of the city of Magelang, namely a water crane building.

The Magelang City Square in Central Java Province is a green grass lawn with a food court offering traditional as well as popular foods and beverages. It is located within a busy business area with heavy traffic, department stores (Gardena and Matahari), a mall (Trio), a police station and restaurants. There is a dancing water fountain with scheduled light plays at night. Landmarks of this area are a white statue of Prince Diponegoro (a hero in the 1825-1830 Java War against the Dutch) and huge water tower with an exotic architecture. A crowded Grand Mosque on its North side is a large and clean mosque with a beautiful classical architecture, many clean separate ladies and gents toilets.

Haven't explored much on this place but definitely a good public space with a food court. The food court itself mostle offered kupat tahu, bakso and Batagor

This is one of the iconic place or landmark of magelang. People from yogyakarta usually makes this place for cycling destination. about 2 cycling from yogyakarta city. You can take a photo with the iconic "magelang" sign, or with the Prince Diponegoro statue. Nothing special about the alun-alun, just an open space covered with grass. There is a food court in the side of this park. Most of them serve local and cheap food, i haven't tried the food court yet.

Very nice place to spend the weekends with friends or fam or even bf/gf..there a lot of food stan that make u feel hungry everytime u look around. And for u who like photography, it's also has nice spot to take a great pic or selfie...

Always go there for playground. Public and free.

Well nothing special. Your typical alun alun or city hall in Indonesia.

They are getting better. The traffic is managed well. You can park in the surrounding buildings, such as the mosque. The food stalls are available, catering various kinds of food.

Okay place to check out if you're around the area. Lots of food to choose from in the food court, though I don't guarantee that you'll get anything particularly delicious more so you'll likely get an upset stomach. Child friendly i guess, under supervision. You might want to bring a date here? Idk i don't have a partner.
