Food/Beverages - Remember that no food/drink stalls are available inside the park, so bring your stuff. There are few water coolers for drinking, inside the park but it is not a good idea to use them during covid times. Parking - lots of space for parking, so do not worry about it. Price - Rs 50 for above age 16, Rs 12 for age 10 to 16. Park size - it's not a big zoo compared to others I have seen. You can easily finish everything in an hour. Closing Time - 05 PM. Last entry at 04 PM. Monday closed. Wheel chair/baby trolley - You can bring a baby, handicap or an old person as the place is wheel chair accessible. Recommendation: - I highly recommend not to visit this park during summer or sunny days as there is no greenery (trees) near the walking path or any kind of cover. Many saplings have been planted recently, so it would be effective after a year or two. - You can also use shared battery-operated cars inside the park, but in my view, it is not necessary as you can easily cover everything in no time on foot. - Bring water and your own food if you want to spend some time here.

Maybe this is because of the newly constructed. The ticket prices are 50 Rs for adults, 25 for kids and no tickets for children below 6 years. Mask is compulsory for the entry. Parking cost is Rs 50. Many kinds of birds, monkeys and dears are here. 🐻 BEAR is also here. Hippopotamus, crocodile 🐊, 🦏 Rhino are also here. But the show stopper is King of the Jungle Lion ( Patudi). We have visited on Sunday so lots of crowd was in front of Lion's cage. Tiger and Panthers are also here. 🐍 SNAKE HOUSE IS also here with many kinds of snakes python, cobra are also. There is also a aquarium with many varieties of fishes of many sizes. There is lots of arrangements of toilet and rest benches. Here you can have snacks and fresh water for the refreshments. 7D theatre is also there. It's ticket are not included in entry tickets. There are some small shops of the near districts like Deoria, Basti, Maharajganj, Azamgarh. The products are made by local people by hand are very economical. This is the good incentive by the government. Overall we enjoyed the trip. And in small cities like Gorakhpur this is the good place to visit for locals.

Shaheed Ashfaq Ullah Khan Zoological Park or Gorakhpur Zoological Garden commonly known as Gorakhpur Zoo is a Zoological Garden in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. We got wonderful experience,of wild animals like 5 types of deer, flamingo,bear 3 types of cat, parrot ,Bengal tiger 🐅, couple ofAsiatic lions ,hypopetmus, couple leopard 🐆, 7 D theatre........and many more animals....price is just rs 50.........

Staff needs to learn human behaviour then they should allow to manage. My wife feeds to child while closing time and they don't even care and forcefully tell us to go outside as soon as possible. Even senior staff also ignored while I complaint to that and continue to go outside. Might be they put more birds and animals inside of zoo but need proper behaved human first.
