Visited August 2021. Visited late afternoon on a rather sunny summer day. Was expecting it to be packed with other tourists but was pleasantly surprised and easily found a table. The new national menu has removed my regular choices, so opted for the southern fried chicken with chips and salad & coleslaw. I was pleasantly surprised, the salad was plentiful as were the chips, so for the price it was good value. Everything seemed prepared to my order, as looked and tasted fresh plus it took a little while to arrive. The only thing that was a bit of a letdown was the coleslaw, as it was mainly the grated veg but with just a tiny bit of watery mayo. Would certainly give this one another try if in the area.

We visited today Southport store 20 July at 13.27 for first time since lockdown. Have been in quite a few times previously to covid. I don’t know the name of the guy on the till is but he’s very abrupt, tall slim guy. All other staff were great, we heard them explain to customers where the condiments were etc but not this guy. He told us which table we were having never had chance to choose our own. But heard others assistants asking customers where would you like to sit? I asked for soft poached eggs both were hard. Yes could have returned it but had waited a while and wanted to get shopping done. Not our best visit by far.

Reasonable food, let down by the place being absolutely filthy! Actually black grime built up over months not days. The doors are filthy, the floors are filthy, the walls at the ends of the tables are filthy. I really do wonder if the manager of this branch ever opens their eyes, if I get started on the state of the toilets, I'll never stop.

Came in for breakfast.Ordered via the machine at the front. The hot chocolate machine wasn't working, so got a refund. The guy on the till was apologetic. My veggie breakfast was half warm, half cold. The veggie sausages were rock hard. Daughters scrambled eggs were cold. Wasn't particularly cheap either, wouldn't rush back, there are better cafes in Southport for the same money.

Not bad, friendly and quick service and my smashed avocado and poached eggs on toast was lovely. Main problem is only one of the 2 hot drinks machines is working and it has no chocolate in it for hot chocolate or mochas. Also the cream tea for one used to include a "The Best" very nice, warm scone with it. Now it just comes pre-packed cold and is one of the basic cheap scones. Shame, won't buy it again.

Just had breakfast here. Push buttons to order meals- which I don't like but it worked ok. Meals arrived, food warm, plates cold, just about acceptable. But the sitting area was Very Cold not a pleasant experience to indure with cold air being circulated around. Why? And it's been unheated for days, so we were told. This can't be normal or is it?

Terrible service stood 5 mins waiting to be served, 3 staff saw me waiting, I even made myself known in the kitchen if anyone was serving, and still no-one came to serve me, so I walked out

£5.99 an 11 item full English Small English is £4.49 That's £1.50 difference to get 5 extra items. I asked for a full English but to have it without hash browns and the tomato and to replace it with an extra egg. I was refused! I don't understand! Its backwards standards.
