Absolute, complete and utter dive! Disgusted with the state of the room on a whole damp walls with peeling paint, no working heating, broken window with cardboard to block the hole, the bathroom genuinely looked like it hadn't been cleaned at all in weeks, a triple bunk bed and single bed all squashed into the smallest room, nowhere to stand the kettle to actually boil it.. Think I'd of been better of sleeping in the car! If I could give a minus star rating I would! Vile dump.

Facilities were poor even for a one night stay, had to pay a 60 pound deposit that we were told we would get back the morning after, this lead to consistently calling to retrieve this deposit but got left with the answer machine every time, eventually after two weeks recived the money. Never knew if the staff were on your side Only good thing is the price but even that’s no worth it Sleep on cardboard and don’t even have enough room to sit up due to how cramped it is Won’t be staying there again

Please don’t stay here! From bad to worse. This ‘hotel’ is by no means a hotel, and a disgraceful hostel. There were no hand drying facilities, mirrors or bins in the bathroom (including sanitary bins in the womens) and only some had soap. The rooms were okay for the price, but had a filthy sofa and overflowing bin and no lockers or bag storage space. The first two nights were okay but the third night ended in the police being called due to an altercation. The ‘manager’ had got drunk and started a fight with a group of men staying there. We fled before dawn and had to walk past the debris of the fight, including blood on the walls. It’s not worth the savings. Spent all night genuinely worried about my safety.

Quite easily the worst accommodation provider I've ever encountered. Closed when I arrived, no answer on the intercom and no answer on the phones. Completely unacceptable. Save the hassle and stay somewhere else.

No-one answered the phone or the doorbell. I was glad in the end because the place looked awful - dirty, messy and unsafe.

All we needed was a bed and bathroom and that's what you get. Don't think this a top notch place but it is suffice. Its really quiet and the triple bunk bed was a laugh to climb to the top of ...it was a fantastic location to visit the town centre approx 20 min walk and was really quiet so got a great lie in .would book again as price was right and comfortable enough 👍

Paid for room sent email for deposit on top of what was already paid turned up to house no one in called number no answer and no replies to voicemail even though room was paid for luckily premier Inn had availability avoid this place at all costs total scam

Hostel cancelled my booking on the day i was due to arrive despite it being booked two month in advance. The reason being they had overbooked the rooms. Not recommened

Showed up around 3pm and no one would answer the door or my phone calls... Had to find last minute accomodation at a hotel.

It is what it is, to be fair for 20 quid could not grumble. Yeah the bedding stunk of smoke, electrics sockets were hanging off and the showers only haf one heat scolding. But it not to fair feom centre beds were actually quite comfy and done the job for a stag do.

Staff were lovely, the prices are affordable, deffinetly got my money worths.

Nice secure comfortableodging. Communication with staff wàs fantastic. Felt warmly looked after and grateful meet new friends! This positive experience let's me know I'm in good hands in future. Would stay again! Thanks so very much!

I had a really bad experience in this hostel. The breakfast is actually a few items left in the bedroom. The fresh items were in a non plugged fridge and when I wanted to take a slice of bread I realized it was in a advanced stage of mold (disgusting). There was no reception and the manager woke me up in the middle of the night to pay for the stay. At this moment I asked him to have a look at the bread and he told me that no one of the staff came in this room for a few month. In addition, in a period of covid 19 pandemic, the rules of social distancing were nonexistent. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Newcastle, I’d definitely recommand you to look somewhere else.

Room reeked of smoke with cramped triple bunk beds not providing much room. A £30 security deposit was sprung on us when we arrived (this wasn’t mentioned in the email when we booked) and I am yet to have this returned to me with it being over 2 weeks since I stayed there. I have messaged the owner multiple times to get the deposit back and he has since stopped responding to me. Don’t stay here as the owner is a thief

We booked a night at the hotel, but when we arrived at the hotel there was nobody to there and the door was locked. First we ringed the bell and nobody opened it. We called the hotel multiple times and nobody took up the phone. After a view hours there was nobody calling us back. So we had to book another hotel. Keep away from the hotel and save yourself the trouble.
