I can't recommend Pilgrim highly enough - they serve high quality food in a casual setting, meaning the prices are very reasonable for what you get. It sits above the communal tables of the food market below, and it's lit by skylights making it bright and airy. Our waiter was friendly and explained the menu, making recommendations when we asked for them. Once the food arrived every mouthful was delicious. The 'Sunday Roast' offer was great value for money at £20 including a drink. Will be adding it to my Liverpool recommendations list for anyone visiting.

Really fantastic Spanish-inspired menu with great small plates. The menu is pretty small, but that's okay because it means that everything is very high quality and prepared perfectly. The wine list is all Spanish, and includes a nice variety of flavors and regions to accompany any dish. Hopefully this restaurant is an indication of where the food scene in Liverpool is heading.

The service was excellent and food excellent. Octopus and red mullet dishes in particular were excellent. Great atmosphere too, will definitely be back.

Really great experience, lovely atmosphere, friendly service and a delicious and creative menu. The padron peppers and the pork main were particularly enjoyable. Between 5 of us we shared a few starters, 7 dishes and 1 main, which was perfect, left enough space for sharing a cheese plate a dessert for afters! Great restaurant concept, executed really nicely.

Yesterday was a first time visit for me and my partner and it certainly won't be the last. The atmosphere on arrival was warm and welcoming and the passion for the menu and specials on offer shone through. Highlights from the meal included an amazing goat and chickpea dish from the specials board, a lovely courgette dish and an beautifully tender pork dish. Great venue, food and staff. Highly recommended (food was too nice to take photos of before digging in)

Can't recommend this place enough! What a great addition to Liverpool! I'm vegan which often means I get the raw deal (excuse the pun)....however not this time - The vegan dishes were delicious and all our party including the fish and meat eaters had a fantastic evening :) If you can grab the chef's table I recommend it as the head chef was highly entertaining along with being highly skilled....fantastic time!

Absolutely amazing! The food was delicious and the host was wonderful. The value of eating food from a wonderfully thought out menu was paired with kind and experienced staff (the host and chefs) wasn’t comparable to anywhere I’ve been. this dinner wasn’t just ”going out to eat”- but an authentic experience with flavor! My husband and I celebrated our 5th anniversary here for dinner and I could not be more impressed! Wish we lived nearby because we would be regulars for sure. Best meal we’ve ever had!

Very very good meal and even better given it was our first proper dinner since the restrictions have been lifted. Genuinely couldn’t fault it. The prawns and octopus were the meatiest I’ve ever had/seen. Thanks again!

We visited Pilgrim this evening after going to one of their Pop Up's last year and we were not disappointed! We were treating ourselves so ordered onw of everything on the menu! Tom, our waiter was full of enthusiasm for his job and for the food, giving us great advice and recommendations. We could not have been happier! The radish and turnip salad was my personal favourite but all the dishes were outstanding! We had some lovely wine and a shot of "fire water" to round off on Tom's advice! Such a fun evening and amazing food. Cannot recommend enough!

We visited the day after new curfew rules were put into place. Felt totally comfortable whilst still having a great atmosphere and not clinical. Food was exceptional and we will definitely visit again.

Fabulous food and a great vibe! The food was exquisite and the chef explained the dishes to us which was a nice touch! Nice relaxed atmosphere and staff were friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit and all the food is seasonal and fresh which is great! We’ll be back for sure!!
