😠 Feels impossible to see a doctor. Wait time in a&e is absolutely ridiculous! No one answers the calls in a&e 30 minutes waiting no answer! What am I actually paying my taxes into if i can’t speak or see a doctor People often mention staff, hours, waiting, time, doctor,

Its A n E -- always busy!!!!! Staff are sadly under pressure as there isnot enough of them. I was dealt with in a very proffessional manner as quickly as they could given the circumstances ( fractured wrist in3 places ) and I cannot praise the NHS staff enough.

I’ll start with the positive- the staff that saw us were amazing. My daughter badly broke her leg last week and the chaps that saw her, sent for X-rays and put her cast on were so lovely with her. Even if they tried to cast the wrong leg 😬The downsides were as follows- we arrived at around 5:20pm, left 5.5 hours later. It took almost 4 hours for her to be seen. Stupidly I didn’t take more pain relief with us, and after waiting so long asked 3 people for calpol before we eventually got some an hour later. She was in agony. Apparently they don’t prioritise children in any way!! Another lady had been taken in with a suspected stroke. She’d been there 3 hours waiting. One girl came in and was sick everywhere from a nasty head injury. The sick was there for a very long time. Eventually some guy on crutches found a ‘cleaning’ sign to put near it as people were almost slipping on it near the front door. There were police men chatting up a girl in her dance leotard ‘you’re 16, have you got a boyfriend’ was one comment. We would’ve been there longer but a kind man who arrived well after us was called for his cast to be put on his wrist, he went and told them we should go first and came back out! It was like an awful comedy sketch. 2 stars for the staff we saw eventually.

RIDICULOUS HOSPITAL!!!!!!! A&E SHOULD BE THERE TO TREAT PATIENTS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE NOT LEAVING THEM TO DIE IN HOSPITAL CHAIRS!

Wouldnt come to a&e at all for any issue whatsoever. Been here 3 times the past month for the same issue. Fecal impactation which IS an emergency situation when it has been going on for over 2 months nearly. Xrays show i am severely impacted however the drs still refuse to do anything at all about my issue. I should be seeing a colorectal specialist to resolve this issue. I had severe pain (like i was 10cm in labour) yet they didnt listen to a thing i said. Worst a&e.

Haven’t sent notes to my doctor from A&E doctor on Wednesday! I rang my surgery who have said I need to go up and ask for my notes! Nope, sorry! Not my job to chase it. They don’t treat people the way the should and are negligent!

I cannot praise PRH enough. The staff are working under incredible pressure, yet still take time and care with their patients. Yes waiting times are unacceptable but please don't blame the hospital or ambulance staff, look to the dismissive attitude of this and previous governments toward the NHS. I was a patient for 8 days on the day surgery unit (not what it was being used for) The staff were exemplary and I have such respect for their compassion and kindness. Thank you each and every one of you. Yes I waited 3 hours on a toll path in 36 degrees for an ambulance ( not their fault someone was in greater need than me and the first ambulance was diverted) Ambulance crew that arrived were magnificent (really) I spent twelve lovely hours with them, thank you Ian Scott and Bea. Yes we waited for four hours in the car park of the A&E in a queue of seventeen ambulances all with sick patients on board, but I was cool safe and cared for with professionalism. I am extremely grateful.

Having attended at 21.50 on Wednesday evening with chest pain I finally decided to call it a day at 7.00 am Thursday morning due to fatigue when I still hadn't seen a doctor

The 24 hour Doctor service is really helpful. All staff medical and non medical do their very best for the patients, no matter what health conditions they have.
