Such a busiest and crowded beach it was!! Not much clean and drainage water is either linked directly or nearby. lots of plastic wate is there. Sunset view is spectacular!!!! One can enjoy waves either!!! But it's way too crowded that we dint get chance to get into water!!! Better to explore other beaches of Kerala!!!!

Calicut Beach is one of the crowded beach in calicut, peoples from Calicut, Malappuram and Wayanad coming here with their family, so it’s too crowded in weekend’s. Also the sea water is not so good, we had a bad experience with a bad smell over there🤮. Also the parking is too difficult, if you are coming in car, at the weekends, then you should be lucky to get a parking slot there😄. There are lot of small shops, in which we can buy “Orathi Ice, Uppilitta Nellikka,Pineapples, Mangoes, Guavas,Carrots, etc. Overall :- Parking:3/5 Cleanliness:2.5/5 Crowd: too much crowd at the weekends, otherwise it’s normal

The beauty of this place is unimaginable. About a kilometer inside the Arabian Sea, the sea roars all around and the Malabar coast breeze feels wonderful. Reaching this place is a bit difficult. You have to jump over the big boulders to reach here. It is almost impossible to reach here unless physically able. This wall is made by throwing big rocks in the Arabian sea. This rock wall surrounds Vellayil Fishing Harbour. People sit on this rock wall and fish in the sea.

Beach is not that clean because of the over crowd, people throw garbage near the beach and more dirty. There’s no entry fee & it’s all time open. Hence maintenance is less.

Place wd good vibes ✨️ Just loved the place. It's a busy place and won't get any auto to go back. It's better if you go there with your own vehicle.
