Excellent lodge in Gadiara near Roopnarayan river. Rooms are spacious. This lodge also contains a restaurant. So many options of snacks and meal. Quality of food is very good. It has a vast and extended garden with a beautiful pond. Large variety of flowers can be seen here. It also has a farm.

I did not stay here but I had lunch here for the second time. Food is excellent here. And I should also say that in Gadhara this is perhaps the best place to have. They serve Rice., Dal., Aloo-Posto, Kumror Ghur, Rui Macher Jhol followed by Chutney and Papad. So lunch or diner at this place is highly recommended.

Very bad services. Poor maintenance, Management staff is terribly top heavy. Hardly know how to behave with existing and frequent customers. Rotten foods are supplied sometimes. So much rigidity. With existing clients should not be borne.

Not recommend for night stay. 1. The Bedsheets, quilt and pillow covers are not clean, when asked they said quilts are not washed regularly. This could leas to skin disease. 2. The location is good, but after 10 pm you cannot go outside and also their in-house lawn, as the gates are closed. 3. The food is good, but options are less. 4. There is no ventilation within the room, as well as in the washroom. 5. It is not well maintained.

We stayed at Chalantika Resort on 9-07-2022 with family and friends. It was a nice stay at room no 204 and 205 (both are river facing room on 3rd floor). Rooms were clean with attached balcony and clean bathroom in the budget category. Huge space of the property with open parking and swings for the kids. The pond of the resort adds an extra star. Hotel staffs are polite and responsible. Foods were tasty and of reasonable price. Complementary breakfast was also nice. They have also arranged food as per our instruction for my 3 years young daughter. As a whole it was a nice stay at Gadiara. It is suggested to pre-book the resort to get a bit price discount.

Really nice experience visiting this facility... great location, easy booking, prompt and helpful service, nice rooms and balcony. Food can be a bit improved(too spicy and hot) and price is on higher side. Overall nice stay, and will recommend others too!

Very nice hotel with spacious rooms, car parking and homely food. Located at bank of the river. They served us with sweet mangoes from their garden. Excellent service quality.

Very well mannered and efficient staff. Courteous and pleasant service. Food etc is of good quality and quantity served is more than sufficient. Only problem is that sometimes AC stops working in rooms when there is low voltage during hot summers. A bit of a lawn with swings for children and parking space for cars is available. Located only one km away from ⛴ ghat. It is better to take the ferry to Geokhali and then go to Mahishadal Rajbari from there as Gadiara itself does not have much except the confluence of Bhagirathi and Rupnarayan river.

I am regular customer of this hotel since 2000, in past few years except kovid-19 period they except telephonic room reservations From me though it is not their regular feature. But this year refused ti accept it though I informed the staff, manager was not available. Anyhow they confirmed my rooms after long dialouge. Other things are so so.

Located near the confluence of Roopnarayan and Hooghly river. Good resort to stay, but the air-conditioners needs maintenance. Problem is power cuts for around 1 hour. Hospitality is awesome; special mention - Pradeepda and Krishna. Ferry service is 1 km away; one can visit Geokhali (20 min) and Mahisadal Rajbari (wonderful palace, half an hour by toto) on opposite banks of Roopnarayan river; Noorpur is on opposite bank of Hooghly river. Requesting owner to arrange a generator, at least for 2 points in each room.

I have given 4 star , because of this place has mate our expectations , but required certain corrections. I found a very comfortable place with excellent behaviour from all staffs & must be praised for very tasty & delicious food. Rooms are neat & clean , spacious & with proper air cross ventilation, even you are not using airconditioner. They have enough space in the compound, including a clean big pond with fish filled and properly maintained gardern with some small firming ground. What they require is to develop some proper & regular maintenance with little more number of staff for quick service. Overall this is a nice experience & qualified for our repeat visit.

Attended a wedding.. good place

Hotel Chalantika is the only legitimate and decent place to stat in Gadiaraha besides the Govr tourist lodge. Its not fancy but decent and morderately ckean. Foid is not great but good enough. Owners are well known and all emergency help available

Hotel Chalantika is a beautiful place to pass along the Rupnarayan river passing by Gadiara tourist center. This hotel is good for short trips.

A nice experience at Chalantika. From booking procedure till checkout, awesome example of hospitality. Staffs are trained and helpful. Room was big, with a big bathroom. Both were clean and well maintained. Food, tea and coffee is excellent. Situated, just beside river bank and very close to bus stand and market. Jetty is in walking distance of 5 min. Will visit again in future.

Okk. Mid way.. Room 202 bathroom is in worst condition. Leaking commode. From every veranda, the view of Roopnarayan river is too beautiful.

Nice garden

We had gone for a friend's wedding ceremony. It was great... Rooms were clean and we had a great time there. The 3rd floor rooms are specially awesome.. you can get the view of Rupnarayan River from your room balcony
