Worst Hotel by far I have ever tried. They don't return your deposit if you pay by card (so I lost my money) and the "free" drink card was just a huge scam. The pool area was also limited.

The very disappointing hotel ever. The price is quite too high compared to the room's quality and the front staff's service. Front staff should improve their attitude and language choices when talking to customers. Lack of tact and good problem-solving, but other hotel staff members, such as porters and restaurant staff, are polite. The room is quite old and has a musty smell. It was the fourth night that I slept in Udon Thani. Therefore have the opportunity to stay at many hotels with similar prices. Consequently, other hotels do much better in both rooms and services. The most disappointing thing about this stay is that the hotel reuses the key card envelope, as in the attached photo. This shows that it has not been reused a few times but many times from the pencil marks seen in the picture. It is disgusting, given the current situation where people are concerned about contagious diseases such as the outbreak of COVID-19, especially since the price of the hotel is not low, and the key card has not a high cost, so it shows the desire to save too much without paying attention to guests and the cleanliness of the accommodation. What makes the hotel unreasonably frugal with the room's price is the small sign in the bathroom for guests to ask for amenities, even toothbrushes and combs. Usually, the other hotel with this price already provides the standard amenities without asking. From the experience of staying, I think it's very inconvenient and time-consuming. If some guests do not notice the signs and get naked to shower, they will need to dress up to call and wait for these items. Breakfast was good as usual by hotel standards. In my opinion, the location next to the Central Department Store is probably the only highlight of this hotel.

Restaurant staff was very unprofessional. The male manager touched my daughters hair (during the covid pandemic) as he was fascinated with the texture (we are Afro-Caribbean and Thai mixed family) for some reason. The outdoor and indoor restaurant staff were awful and somewhat rude. Food was mediocre and the communication was rude. The only bright spot was the front desk and lobby staff. They were very nice and professional. However I was so turned off by the behavior and attitude from the evening restaurant staff that I will never return. Room was average as well and there was no temperature control. 👎🏿

I decided to move from my condo to Centara because I thought it might be a nice change and an upgrade. So the first thing you want to do is be very careful because their website is set up as a classic bait and switch as far as pricing they represent one price which is lower as a member. I signed up as a member spent an hour and a half checking in. The front desk did not want to honor their membership pricing as shown on their website. I had to show them the photo screenshot of the pricing and after an hour and a half of going back-and-forth the front desk made an adjustment to the price to honor their website pricing. I don’t need the money it’s just a point that if you advertise a price it should be what it is advertised for. I received a call to my room the next morning. The manager said that the front desk clerk should not have honor the price and that they’re going to dock his pay for it which I think is outrageous. So apparently the hotel needs the money so bad they’re going to dock the pay of an hourly employee. Disgraceful. That aside the hotel is clean. However there is construction going on so at 8:30 in the morning you’ll hear nail guns going and circular saws running. The way the rooms are set up they are in penitentiary mezzanine style So when you were making noise in any one of the rooms on all 10 floors everyone else can hear echoing through the mezzanine. The staff was nice, respectful and pleasant. And one more surprise after checking in they asked for an additional 800 baht per day deposit as well. I travel the world 8 months of the year and in most hotels they will take no more than 1000 baht for the entire stay ….. so again that’s par for the course with Centara. The rooms are basic, a little stark and bare. The floors are manufactured wood which gives it a cheaper feel and less feeling of privacy. The bed was ok not really up to standard but ..ok . The Internet didn’t work for my laptop in the room. They sent 2 technicians up to the room to attempt to fix it. After 1/2 hour they couldn’t get Internet WiFi to work on my laptop. All combined I wasn’t happy with the place. I decided to leave a day early, I didn’t bother to ask for a days credit back because I assumed they wouldn’t want to give back any and of course they told me they without me asking…. You are leaving a day early we cannot give you any money back haha Also my deposit of 800 baht a day will take 14 days to credited back to me. Apparently the hotel corporation needs the money worse than I do. Centara- pass on them Next time I’ll choose wiser.

Great Location, Great Service, Great New Renovated Room. Definitely Best Hotel in Udonthani and always love to see everyone smiling during breakfast. Next to Central Udon with great access to everything as city centre hubs.

Lovely hotel. I was upgraded to a suit which was spacious with a bath. Staff friendly and breakfast was outstanding! Come here just for the breakfast buffet. Also right next to a shopping mall with all of your shopping needs met. Pool is small but other than that fantastic place.

The hotel is located next to the central department store. I noticed that the manager She never said thank you to her customers. It was impolite. don't be so rude.

We are always happy here. By far the best breakfast in Udon, and we often take our dinner here because the chef never fails us. The rooms are spacious enough, well decorated (recently renovated) and the service is superb. Centara Udon is a bit more expensive than the others, but they certainly deliver lovely rooms, good food and a terrific staff. Stay here, you won't regret the extra ten bucks.

I got massage from a lady 2 hrs. She was a great massage therapist.thanks!! . But I was disappointed about spa manager!!!! No friendly with customers. Just -000 reviews for her. I booked a room July 22-24, July 26- Aug 4. I pass her many times (grumpy face to customers), she is only “make up in her room”. No smile, no welcome. OMG!! Can’t believe it. My boy loves the pool, housekeeping is great , smile and polite with customers 8th floor and 5th floor. Thanks for cleaning my room good

The room is humid. It seems that the rooms located on the side where the sun does not come in. Other than that, the facilities are good and the service is convenient. It is a very suitable place for those who want to eat and play in Central. It would be nice if the price was a bit cheaper.

Room 1415 Shower automatically jumps between hot and cold. Taking a shower is miserable. Cannot control for stable temperature. 😬 Everything else in the room was perfect. Generous fruit plate and drinking water.

Usually i don't like to leave a review. I am reviewing this time just because of some situation was unfair while i stayed. My family and I came to visit relatives in Thailand and we were hunting the hotel where we want to spent time for relaxing . We agreed to stay this hotel for 2 nights because of convenience what we believed. General service were okay i had spent time at robby bar with my friend. I order house wine 2 glasses of cabernet sauvignon .the red wine that served us its seems like corgi i don't care because that i don't expect a lot. 2 glasses of long island iced tea . 1 mohito and 1 beer. The bill was 1580 bath I thinkit is okay for me but may pricey to another tourist. Next day i ordered ice coffee and hot coffee late the bill was 290 bath. Too pricey if compare to standard and quality . The peak point when i checked out in the morning. The staff told me that must pay more 400 bath and can not refund the deposit 1600 bath .i asked him WHY. He told me that we ate durian in the room. I asked him back Any one must be charged because of this happen.He said Yes. I told him But not me. I don't care just money to fined because of this but even single penny i also can't accept fine to this hotel. If you guy not permit or have some conditions MUST INFORM customers know before check in or put a sign in the room to let customers know. I told few experienced to those staff that customers come to rest in the hotel because of convenience if your hotel have some conditions must inform them before get in the room. Don't fine them when they check out. You guy did like this i call Cheating service system. .( they not fine me because i am not accept that but many customers may got fined Please be aware I so disappointed for this time and may be first and last with this hotel and this brand.Good luck with hospitality industry services

Amazing hotel. The best in town. I always use them when i’m in town. The softest beds. Very friendly and professional staff. The spa is amazing. Saunas are proper Finnish saunas. Fitness is also well equipped.

Fully renovated hotel and feel like home. Junior Suite room is spacious with bathtub. Super comfy bed. Full spa service. Great fitness facilities with outdoor swimming pool. Great value 4 star hotel in Udonthani for Business & Leisure. Variety choices of breakfast. Thai, western and local food. Always stay here when visit Udonthani

1st time staying in this hotel, room on 12 floor are big, clean and very comfortable. Shopping mall just steps away. Will be staying in the same hotel again if im travelling back to Udon Thani again.

Check in was easy, staff is very professional, ideal location with big rooms. The rooms are starting to show their age a bit and probably in need of a refresh. The bed was comfortable and it is attached to the biggest mall in the region which is nice. I would stay again.

Clean roomy premium hotel. Shower temperature not stable and hard to adjust. Reception not helpful for inquiries. Kitchen lady wears blue gloves all the time even in toilets. Breakfast Buffet line + coffee is good. Noodles bar should improve.

This was our 2nd visit in 7 months. Unfortunately, it was disappointing this time. The staff and service were excellent. However, the rooms are tired and dated. The WiFi is poor at best. The smart TVs are stupid and have a rubbish channel selection with almost zero English options. The bathrooms are poorly lit, have no exhaust fan, and the water temperature is difficult to control. The location is great, but the car parking is extremely limited and a pain. The breakfast options were not as great or varied as last time. The staff were lovely and apologetic, but the hotel needs some serious upgrades, and we will not stay here next time. It simply isn't worth the money.

What this hotel has going for it is location location location. The rooms are fairly priced since they're so inexpensive, but as others have commented, this hotel needs to renovate the now-dated rooms. Clean but shabby is not a good thing. The pool area on the fifth floor is very disappointing. The health club, however, is outstanding--not overwhelming, but just enough of everything and never crowded. And they have a steam room, dry sauna, hot tub, and ice cold pool dip. The only place in Udon Thani to offer that. Since it's only a few steps to Central Plaza, where there are dozens of dining options available, it's not so critical that the hotel food is less than great. In less than ten minutes you can walk to the Night Market, UD Town, Centerpoint, bars, nightclubs, and many other activities. There are other hotels in town I like better, but this is my default recommendation to friends coming to town looking for a room.

Very friendly staffs. The room is not very new, but it's reasonable price. Perfect location just few steps to shopping mall. This is my 3rd time stay here.
