Dirty hotel and older. I was surprised when I found The Pannarai to be dirty. Especially around the pool area. Many dirty towels , dirty dishes and vegetation floating in the pool When I would go for a swim I would never see staff coming around cleaning or asking if I wanted to order food or a drink. This isn’t good business The rooms were okay and much cleaner then the common spaces. The bed was comfortable and okay linens. The parking was secure and adequate. The location was good as well. There are many hotels in this area for 700 baht just as nice with out pools. Disappointed

I actually never stayed at this hotel so I don't know why I'm being asked to review it.

Very nice stay in this hotel. The room was very big and the bed was very comfertable. The staff were good and have good local knowlage. The hotel is very well located its close to the railway station and the night food market. I would stay here again.

I'll be honest with full 4 days straight, since morning it is a very convenient place to stay. The hotel stays close to the Department store and Hospital. But in the night it's the difference experience, you will hear lots of noises from Pub and bar nearby until 4A.M. . If you want a peaceful night sleep somewhere else.

Not the greatest street to be on. Staff isn’t helpful. No working air conditioning in our room. Asked to get moved to a different room. The new room also does not have working air conditioning, and smelled musky. Had to really push for a different room. If I’m paying for a room with AC, I want the AC to work. Asked about having the front desk print off documents for us. Was told to email them and wait in the lobby. Waited a half hour, still no papers. When I asked the desk a second time, was told to keep waiting. Shouldn’t be that difficult to print off 4 pieces of paper. I understand having to wait, but at least tell people it’s going to be a few hours. Don’t tell them to sit in the lobby and wait if it won’t be done in a timely manner. House keeping took away our 2nd pillows one day as well. Annoying, but wasn’t going to ask the desk about it. Breakfast was ok. Coffee machine doesn’t work all that well. Not a horrible place to stay, but there’s places cheaper for the same quality.

The place next door plays music until 4am. The bass from the bar next door will rattle the contents in your room. This happens every night. Good luck getting any sleep in this place.

Hotel assigned room with faulty AC. Bed and pillow was harder than the lounge chair near the pool. Almost not sleepable

The facilities are good but you are not allowed to dry clothes in balcony. I forget my soap case and went back the same evening. The receptionist was good took down my number and said she would call after checking with room service. After one day I went in person they told me room service did not find. So most probably they would have disposed it. It was a matador soap pouch which is about $20.

Good location, comfortable large bed, very clean. I was in 319, on the Day and night side, the double doors did an amazing job of keeping the sound out, I'd suggest those who complain are over sensitive sooks.

Right next to nightlife but the double sliding glass patio doors on the balcony cut out the noise. It would be nice if the pool was open 24 hours because it is very nice.

nice place but please renovate. hardly i could open the drawer. The hotel room door very difficult to close just need maintenance. Friendly Staff Breakfast is nice but i miss Cheese. Not enough Western people to serve Cheese and cold cuts. All over recommend place.

Good comfortable room in the heart of Udon near many nightlife venues. Music goes on until just past midnight but isn't too loud inside the room. Staff were extra friendly. Didn't get to try the breakfast as my schedule was very packed. Would consider staying here in the future again. Note that toothbrush and toothpaste is 40 baht

Great value for the money This is okay hotel for a short stay. It is generally a great hotel, but it is old. The hotel is surrounded by bars, so in the nighttime you will probably always hear a fair bass beat in your room The restaurant has som good food. The breakfast is excellent 👌 Especially the egg station. Vi have been there 4 times in the evening, then things get wonky. The waiters forget all kinds of all the time. All 4 times we had to tell them that we couldn't eat the food without knife and fork. We had to remind them to bring the ordered drinks and and not only one, but one to each of party of four . The rooms are good quality, but old. You can easily hear other guests outside the door, and since the hotel is place in bar street, there might be traffic in the hall ways until 04:00 I have includes some pictures where it is visible that the door does close tight, and some other stuff The swimming pool is great. There is 2 laundrys and a seven eleven within 3 minutes walking distance.

Good hotel in the party district. It was quiet when we were there. The double balcony doors may have help5. Plenty of parking. Overpriced breakfast but very good.

Very poor cleaning condition. There was too much hair on the floor. No soundproofing at all. You can hear the sound from the hallway as well as from the next room. Club music was super loud until 3 am. Worst hotel for the price. There are plenty of good hotels in Udon Thani for this price.

First off, it's a beautiful hotel with an absolutely amazing breakfast buffet and mostly kind and helpful staff. The rooms are big and very well equipped. HOWEVER, the Wi-Fi sucks (got kicked out of my connection again and again, sometimes couldn't log in again for hours), it's not really clean (predecessor's hair on the floor, ants in the bathroom and around the TV console). But the worst is the adjacent night life area. While for most people it's possible to sleep to music, it's not possible to sleep to the deep bass vibrating through your very core. The later the night gets, the more intense the bass gets, on Saturday night I couldn't sleep until 4am. Upon booking I requested a quiet room (=not facing the bar area).when I arrived they assigned me a room with unobstructed view & noise from the bar complex. I asked to get a different room, the answer was a malicious smile and the offer to pay additional money to get a good room.

Modern quiet hotel in centre of town between and next to a major new up market shopping mall and the train station. The street it is on is a very active red light district, but it’s calm and no problem if you’re not offended by the thought.

First time in the Pannarai, not disappointed. Friendly helpful staff at reception. Room was great, a little dated but still very clean. Breakfast was amazing fresh omelettes/fried eggs/scrambled eggs to order. Western & Asian breakfasts available, fresh fruits, croissants, tea, coffee etc. There is background noise due to location, if available book an even numbered room overlooking swimming pool. I was made to feel really welcome by the staff & they were always willing to help, enjoyed my stay in Udon Thani. I will stay there again.

Excellent location for access to the UD Town area. Staff were extremely welcoming and pleasant. Rooms were well serviced. The swimming pool was ample size , suitable for some exercise and shallow enough for children to enjoy. Only offered a taxi to the airport, when we requested a transfer.

Excellent experience staying in the hotel. The rooms are a good size, spacious. The Aircon is very effective I only used the restaurant once...it was quite ok but not very exciting. Housekeeping is also very good. The room cleaning is immaculate, and if there's something wrong, eg. a light not working, the service is both very rapid and very professional. I went to the lobby to report a broken links ght and the electrician was waiting at the door before I got back to my room. Best of all is the outstanding staff working on reception. They are highly professional very friendly, and very knowledgeable . They set the highest standards in customer service. The hotel management should be very proud of them and the work they do.

The best on this hotel is the swimming pool. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms aren't very big but clean and comfortable. The shower stall is very small. The wifi in the hotel is slow and you constantly have to log back in. Overall the hotel is satisfactory.

Great hotel in the heart of Udon Thani city. Great location for business and quick stop if you're in Udon.

We stayed for 4 nights. The Hotel is old but well maintained and reasonable clean. Service is very good and location just great with many bars, restaurants, Massage places, Night market and Central plaza mall, all with in a few minutes walk. We stayed at the exterior room facing the street to enjoy the street energy. Those who seek for more quiet (though with smaller balcony) the interior rooms facing the pool were recommended by the hotel service. Room is spacious enough, clean and nicely maintained. Swimming pool clean, area is nicely kept but little small with not to many chairs and beds. The gym room is small, minimal and not well equipped. Breakfast oriented more to locals than westerns. But clean and fresh.

Great place to stay. Large comfortable rooms. Swimming pool and restaurant were very nice. The staff went above and beyond making sure all our needs were met. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in Udon

Room was very nice and the staff friendly. The internet did not work on all devices. It worked on my phone but not my wife's phone or my laptop. They had no I.T. people to help. We both bought sim cards for our phones and I shared mine with my laptop.

Very nice friendly staff, good location. Rooms are excellent. Breakfast is fantastic. No complaints. First class.

I started my 2 months long vacation here at the Pannarai hotel and I couldn’t ask for a better start! The staff, hotel location, room, swimming pool, and daily brunch were all top-notch. -Staff were all excellent from airport to hotel shuttle bus, hotel lobby check in, daily brunch greeting, poolside service, to check out. All staff were friendly, polite, and full of smiles on their face. - This hotel is located just a few minutes walk to Central Plaza Udon, bars, and local night markets. - The room is super clean, good size with pool view, great tv channels selection, spacious bathroom with plenty of hot water, and most importantly pillows and linen are clean and comfortable! There’s a security box and a small fridge for guest to use. - The pool was very nice and clean. They even have a poolside service to offer you drinks and foods!! - Their daily brunch offer both western and local cuisines. I would consider staying here in the future and I would also recommend all my friends and family to do the same.

Very nice boutique hotel, I've had friends recommend this hotel before. Now I know why, very nice room, the breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Used the gym that overlooks the pool area. Pool area is very nice with plenty of shade. Great location few min walk to the big Central plaza shopping mall, UD town night market is a short walk away and many bars are on the same street if you want to have a night out. I will definitely come back to stay here 👍👍👍

WiFi doesn’t work on PCs or Laptops and only works on mobile phones. At night there will be loud music with maxed out bass, so your bed will vibrate, unless you are in a room on the opposite site of all the bars (408-422 e.g.) It is near of the Central though, if you wish to waste some money on stuff. 🙂

Very nice, for the price this hotel standard is high. clean, nice room, and a large swimming pool.

Good hotel but rooms finishing with 13579 are VERY noisy all night along.

A wonderful hotel in an excellent location. Very close to bars and restaurants. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The beds are very comfortable. I was impressed by their decision not to change the bedding everyday. Towels, however, are changed daily. Thank you to all staff for making our stay with you so enjoyable. There is a good size swimming pool. Double glazing keeps the noise from the bars to a minimum.
