i did my booking through Agoda by paying with Aba bank. Transaction stuck and never made and i received 2 emails from Agoda, one saying my booking is canceled, other was from Family boutique hotel saying my booking is confirmed so i doublechecked with Agoda and they assured me my booking is canceled. The money was still stuck in my account. So i went to bank and filled a form and explained the situation. I tried to make another booking from same hotel but the room was already gone. So i booked Azalea park hotel for the same dates through Agoda and paid it with my Garanti bank debit card. (i have payment proof) Somewhere on January 28th or 29th i received an email from Agoda saying my booking with Family hotel 24-26 jan is confirmed. Actually they updated the email which they sent saying booking is canceled. but i had the screenshot already so i know i did not loose my mind. (time traveling i was expected to do i guess) I have all screenshots of emails and proof but Agoda is refusing to give my money back. This hotel is stealing money by cooperating with Agoda. Be careful when you book from this hotel and never ever use Agoda.

Older hotel, rooms are dated but comfortable. Breakfast great. Staff very helpful and happy. Good location with restaurants close by. 15 min walk to night markets.

They were always willing to go the extra mile to make sure my stay was comfortable. Good location: The hotel is located in a central location, within walking distance of many of the city's main attractions. Not bad breakfast: The breakfast buffet was not the most extensive, but it had a good variety of dishes to choose from, including both Western and Asian options. Cons: Small rooms: The rooms at the Family Boutique Hotel are on the small side, but they are still comfortable and functional.

We stayed 3 nights - 1st room we got (508), was facing an active, noisy construction area. We asked for a new room, as work starts typically quite early. Room 603 was "ok-ish", but the toilet was leaking water to the floor. We didn't want to swap again - found it really strange. Breakfast ist served up to 10am with good options - but not got refilled sufficiently after 9am

the room is old, a lot of things need fixing. wifi was so bad, the room also made my phone unable to connect to mobile data

The biggest minus here is the internet. wifi is very slow, almost not working. even if i use 4g from my phone it's too tight in the room or something like that it wont work.

The price is amazing, the staff is top knotch and the breakfast is the best I have had since I hit Laos. If you need a place to stay in Vientiane Laos...do NOT look further. This is the place.

Recommended! Both the staff and the accommodation at this hotel are fantastic! I enjoy how helpful and friendly the staff is, especially how good their breakfast is and how you can order a cup of fresh coffee from them. This hotel is wonderful!

Rooms are excellent. Beds and pillows are very comfy. Overall very good. Except for the mosqitos that fly in and out of the room. Woke up with 8 bites on my son's face. If you stay here just quickly open & close the door.

Great team of staff. The room is not super new, but it is well-maintained and clean. The staff are very helpful, friendly, and professional. We are very impressed. We had recommended our friends and family to stay there and will continue doing that. Nice location. Not too far from Center point. Quiet at night.

This was our second time to stay at Family Boutique. We highly recommend! The customer service is excellent with very friendly personnel. Rooms are super clean. Breakfast far exceeded our expectations. We look forward to returning!!

Currently staying here for a 2 weeks period. It meets many criteria. Very clean, good bed and pillow choices, quiet, breakfast is basic but enough choices of food, great location. The best part is a kind, helpful and efficient staff. Very good value. I am staying in a double junior suite. A bit small (36sqm) for a suite but there is a large balcony (no privacy wall with the adjacent room). The bathroom is functional and the toilet seat is a washlet type that works on water pressure. Very few 3 stars hotels bother to install them at all despite being very hygienic. All furnishing appear to be recent. I am not a fan of carpet in hotel rooms but they are low piles and immaculate, obviously being well maintained and stain free. Anyone giving it a go will see the excellent value in this property. The missing star is for little things that should be there no matter what. I will leave my comments with the manager and hopefully he can act on some of them making future stays even better for his guests. I have stayed in great hotels during my travels and truly I am quite happy and confortable here even if there is not someone waiting on me to tell them my desires.

A really good hotel. Clean, good sized rooms in a great location in Vientiane. Walking distance to restaurants, the night market and mall. Friendly staff and a tasty buffet breakfast with an assortment of Thai, Laos and western food choices. 2 thumbs up...

This hotel is clean and spacious. WiFi is available in the room and buffet breakfast is good. Has reasonable good selection of both western and Asian breakfast. It's about 15 mins to Mekong River and along the way, you can find lots of cafes and restaurants and it's convenient for any traveller. Definitely will recommend this place to anyone coming here for a visit

Simple, a bit old, but clean hotel conveniently located in Vientiane's centre. It can be conveniently reached with the airport shuttle bus (15000 Kip, 2018), the stop is right en face of the hotel. We were a bit unlucky with our room, which was located right next to all the aircon compressors, so it was a bit loud. However, the hotel itself it located in a quieter street which is good for rest, but the river is still in short walking distance. Breakfast was decent and included in the competitive price, which is why I still opted for an overall 4 star.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for several days. The staff is very friendly and helpful to us and made our stay even better. The hotel is directly on the route of the airport shuttle, makes it very convenient to get to and from the airport. This place is clean and the buffet breakfast is really good and has a coffee maker that rocks.

Great hotel. Stayed here twice. The location is perfect, easy to get to places. Our room was big and clean. The staff was friendly and kind. The breakfast was the best. It is a buffet, big variety of food, they have an awesome coffee machine. Enjoyed my latte every morning. Highly recommend this place.
