Hop inn as a chain is good. However hop inn Mukdahan has some issues. I was asked if I wanted to pay extra for late check out, which i did. Just a day before I get a mail, that the request has been cancelled, which i missed due to a stream of mails coming at once after a night in laos without connection. No breakfast buffet like other hop inn hotels (st least none that I could find?) Staff is nice, rooms are as expected, same as everywhere. Location is quite good if you wanna be close to the bus station. Still extremely disappointing when requests are cancelled last minute. So will bring down the score from 5 to 2...

If Ryan Air owned a hotel it would be the Hop Inn chain. Very standard. However, on the plus side it is clean and we'll maintained. There are little laminated cards everywhere telling you what to do and what not to do. The staff are friendly but be aware if you are a ”farang" you will be asked for you passport, even if you are not the person booking or paying for the room.

Budget-friendly, accessible to basic amenities, clean, friendly and helpful staff. Wi-Fi signal in the room was intermittent though. Overall, a good place to stay for solo and group travelers.

Neat, nice, simple and clean. Small fridge and good internet. They also have some snacks downstairs and frozen food and microwave. Close to the bus station, but if you want to enjoy Mukdahan and don't have a car you should stay in the city center.

I like the hop Inn chain of hotels, locations are normally decent. Perfect for a one or two nights stay, I stayed one night, went out in the evening, car park secure. Hotel very clean and straight forward, prices great and consistent. Really recommend for a stop over

Loved the place. Few minutes walk from bus station. There's restaurant few blocks away and Tesco is like 10 minutes walk. If you don't want to go out they got frozen foods and cup noodles, and there's microwave and water boiler. Plus, the staffs are friendly and helpful.

Small rooms, but with all necessary. Very soft and cozy beds. Strong wifi. Free coffee in the morning. Responsive staff in the lobby. Help us a lot with our motorbike. Recommend!

Inexpensive but built to a fairly low standard. Clean. The room is not much bigger than the bed itself. No English TV channels. Front desk speaks some English. I chose it because it's literally a five minute walk to the bus station where I was catching a bus early next morning and so for this purpose it's well suited.

Hop Inn have a standard across Thailand that is very good. One thing I noticed on the older Hop Inns is the general maintenance could become a problem. This hotel maybe one of the oldest I've stayed at, and as such I did notice paint peeling and chipped and cracked tiles in the bathroom. Hallways with scratch marks. Generally, the staff are very good at their designated job, but to be a very good hotel, staff have to think beyond their job at times. They have to report problems they see and not just think someone else will fix it. Another example I witnessed was, a mini bus of old Thai people arrived and an old lady was having trouble with her bag. A staff member cleaning kept cleaning. I would have expected that person to jump to the rescue. Simple things that make guests feel important.

Pls fix air con that noisy in rm 206. Outside wall building cracked & under fixing during stay by Spider Worker which make me inconvenient as cannot open curtain. Not enough parking space. Staff not provide enough info of tourist attraction but I can search by myself. Not use hotel wifi then have no idea of signal.
