Mmmmm. My breakfast croissant was amazing. The ham tasted like it came off the bone. We waited a long time for our meal but it was worth it. Great meal for an ever better price. Our bill only came to $24 and some change for two of us. Cool nostalgic atmosphere.

"Very Good!" That's all you hear at the register from every customer. A perfect location for a good meal on a route 81 trip; this place offers a wide variety of things on the menu. After 50 years in the business, their ability to serve good food speaks for itself. The diner car and jukebox add to the experience nicely. A must try!

Dutch Kitchen gets an extra star for 3 Tesla Superchargers in the ample parking lot. Big plus. On top of that, the food is delicious & the service is friendly. The inside is like an old diner with counter seats and booths with individual juke boxes for music. There's also a separate room with tables. Spouse enjoyed the nicely seasoned, huge pork steak. I loved the chopped steak & creamy cottage cheese with a side salad accompanied by tons of blue cheese dressing. All yummy!

We are truck drivers and eat at as many local restaurants as we can instead of chains. First, this place has a wonderful feel to it especially all decorated for Christmas. Second, the food was so good. We did the complimentary homemade bread, pierogies, pot pie, meatloaf, and raspberry tea. That tea is the best raspberry tea I've ever had and was pretty too. Third, we were blessed to have Eric for our server. When he was told we are from Texas and some of the food choices were different such as apple butter with cottage cheese or gravy instead of tomato sauce on meatloaf he brought us both on the side so we could see what we liked. Just all around friendly and seemed to actually enjoy seeing what we thought. As we were leaving he even came out to the register area to say bye and thank us for coming. I rarely give 5 stars, but this place and Eric, in particular, deserve it. Thank y'all and we'll definitely stop whenever we pass through here.

Ordered a cheese burger. Cheese was not melted. French fries were cold. Ordered pancakes with a side of bacon. Had to ask for the bacon again. All around bad visit was fooled by all the other fake reviews including the one that is happy about having 3 tesla charging stations. I will not return.

Such a cute diner to stop and eat at. We were just passing through and staying the night in Pottsville and we actually came back again in the morning to get breakfast, it was that good! Everyone is so friendly and the diner really takes you back in time. I highly recommend.

Best restaurant in Central PA. It doesn't get any better than this. The food is amazing 😍! Absolutely five stars! All fresh, all home made. The prices are unbeatable! You always get more for your hard earned $ here. As someone who really loves good food, I am hard pressed to find a better place than the Dutch Kitchen!

Stopped here traveling from VA to CT. Got here about an hour before they closed, but that wasn't a problem. Staff was all very nice even with our later arrival time. Had a good variety on the menu, but I needed to ask for the all-day breakfast menu. The food was really good and would definitely recommend for someone who is traveling. There is a Cracker Barrel just on the other side of the highway and would tell someone to stop here as it is very similar to Cracker Barrel but supports a local business.

Old timey diner feel with good diner food. First time eating a side of pepper cabbage, I'd eat that as a main course.

Staff was friendly and fast. Fries were a little soggy but hot. Coffee was great. Restrooms could use an update. Overall, it was a pleasant diner, and I'd return to it if I was traveling through the area.

Food was good. Felt a little rushed but that also could have been due to showing up on a Sunday lunch rush. Loved the old dinner Atmosphere on the one side.

Great local restaurant! Quick service, friendly staff, good prices, and very good food. Everything anyone would want in a restaurant. Combination restaurant/diner with same menu. Nice location off I-81.

This is your very average diner type of place with good comfort food at reasonable prices. Nothing special about it. Well except that the atmosphere is very much from the 50' and 60's. They still have the table top juke (spelling) boxes on the table tops. Our waitress was nice and efficient, the food came out hot, their homemade bread was superb and their whipped "butter" was awful. They should serve quality butter on their awesome bread!

Was heading back home up north and stopped in for a bite I ordered the chicken soup and meatloaf The soup was home made and outstanding The meatloaf was also outstanding This was the stick to your ribs meal I needed to finish my trip home I grabbed a few sugar cookies to go and wish a bought more Again home made I've been drooling over those cookies all week! Service was excellent. My waitress was a tall redhead, sorry I didn't catch her name She was sweet and pleasant Hey boss give her a raise She was great at her job Only thing I wish is for the restaurant to be closer to CT If it was I would be a regular with out a doubt!!

👍👍 Pizza was the bomb. Dough was fresh and baked well. 😋 We got the Works. Cheese bread was also delicious. They do offer a sweet sauce but I prefer savory.
