We have booked the banquet hall for my sisters wedding. We have informed them that we will reach the venue by 1 pm. Food was not arranged on time. People were standing with empty plates. The starters were brought from kitchen in small quantities which were getting finished instantly. Guests were given lunch at 2.30 pm Horrible management. Ac was not working properly. Very ill kept n ill managed

We had our wedding function here last month. The staff service was good, decorations were great and the location of the venue is also good. However, the major disappointment was in the food which they served in our wedding menu. Some fish items were not good, mutton was not properly cooked and overall the food was not upto the mark given the price that they have charged per plate for the venue.

I don't know why there are so many negative feedback or if they have improved recently. We had our engagement party there with nearly 250 people and 10 rooms booked for 2 days. ❤️ Serves amazing food and the wedding planner was very friendly, understanding and always available. ❤️ Decoration was done to the point and just as we wanted. They arranged for cold fire and music system on our demand 😊 ❤️ Most of our guests have personally called us and provided a great feedback on the food, arrangements and location. We are very happy with The Circle Club 😊

Went here in search of Banquets and Rooms. Liked the Options offered, and the offered Prices. Will be able to Review in Details, once I/We experience or host Event/Event(s).

The club was neat and well presented I just love the interior and exterior design of this club...and the most and important thing that the staff were Well behave and well mannered.

Awesome experience, very helpful courteous staff. Excellent service, very happy about the event we hosted, our son's Bday party. All our guests enjoyed very much, appreciated the food and the ambience. I am very satisfied with over all experience. I had a guest count of 135+ and they gave me more than 'value for money' package.

We visited this place for a birthday party of a friend’s kid. The hall was really big with stage on one side and buffet food on the other side. The height of the hall is like a movie theatre and the sound system was good too. Overall - I never felt claustrophobic inside that fully air conditioned hall. Only problem I faced is about the parking. Circle Club basement parking is really limited!

Went their for a reunion. The place is in a state of disarray. Even the wallpapers are just sloppily pasted in where the original ones probably came off. They didn't even bother to take off the old wallpapers but simply patched in the new ones that do not even match the rest of the wallpaper! Service is absolutely appalling! They took an eternity to refill the dishes and even the senior citizens were made to stand in long ques for long to get served. Here's the best part... When they started serving lunch, they had no cutlery at all. When we asked for spoons they acted surprised and said they didn't know spoons would be required for lunch! There's never any parking and the staff is not going to help you in anyway. Terrible experience. The only thing working for this club is its location and the convenience to reach it. However neither will I ever visit that place again not would I recommend the place to anyone ever.

If you want to waste your hard earned money, this is the place you should be in. Staff behaviour is bossy and extremely rude. It gives you a feeling that you are there to beg. From the time you take the first step to this club, you will find mismanagement galore. It’s surprising how in a competitive world of today, this club is surviving with such poor quality staff and service. Parking is there for namesake. My worst experience ever.

Rooms - Dirty, bathroom dirty - had to ask for Drainex to clean water outlet as dirty water spilled from the bathroom, glasses/ kettle - dirty. Lift near reception - Unsafe - lift starts moving without the inner door being closed, No floor buzzer in lift to alert users that the outer door is not shut after use leaving those stranded at any floor stranded Food service - You cant change your wish and ask for anything to be made ALA CARTE as they would say it's all decided and they can't give anything else , they have their set time and would serve whatever is made accordingly , you can beg but they would say - it's not yet time to feed you. Staff - They have only 1 person who they constantly use for guest requirement , rest of 1 or 2 staff always laze at reception and would not help you until they have they have that 1 person around , so better wa we will not do anything except Order that 1 guy..

I am Mr Madhab Chakraborty hosted an event on Circle on 25th June. It's was an engagement party of my daughter. Everything went well. Mutton Rogan and Chicken Kasha is the best. Overall superb arrangement. Thank u to Mr Saby and Jana.

it was a pretty bad experience. the room's ac's were not working properly. the food tasted ok-ish. if i asked for extra food, thet started making faces. we stayed at the guest house and trust me they do not give priority to the guests. we were not allowed to enter the pool. only the club's members are allowed in the pool. the members do not talk with the guests respectfully. the members insulted us and the club's security and receptionist did nothing. also, they asked us to pay around 600 more than the price they ask us to pay online so please be careful. their wifi does not work properly either. i would suggest that no one should ever even think of staying in here. if you do, i bet you will regret it.

I am really scared after going through these reviews, I have an event organised for the month of May. Unfortunately I missed to verify the reviews at the time of booking.. Can I get assurance from the management this will not going to repeat again and please improve your service. After all you are charging money for good service. Please don't play with people's money and emotions.

This hotel room is very good. Me and my some friends went there for some training purpose and stay in the hotel rooms for 5days and we really enjoyed too much and also the food facilities were too good. Our room is front of the swiming pool but this time we weren't got the swiming pool using facility in our package. I hope when we go there next time then ofcourse use it and I request to all of you when you go there then please bring your any I'd proof in hard copy or soft copy either Aadhaar Card or PAN Card. Location is perfect place. Easily connected from, VIP, Or New town, Or Airport. Range is affordable. Taste is funtabulous. Try their mutton biriyani, fish orley, afgani chicken to Name a few. Ample sitting arrangement.

Firstly this place locates at very prime location ....besides of Haldiram nd Vip rd traffic connections. Room Service was too good nd very well behaved .

Just returned to my place yesterday from Kolkata , stayed at Circle club for 3 days with 10 people booking 8 rooms , would give a rating of below 0 if there was an option basis below observations and categories - 1) Room and room service - A) House cleaning staff swept the floor with broom and used his shoes on the broom to press out stuck dirt on the floor and then used the same broom to swèep the bed and sofa and then said - porishkar korey diyechi( Cleaned your room). B) Dirty Bathroom without buckets or mugs - had to go to Spencer and More about 3 kms away after keeping luggage in the rooms as they Did not have any buckets or mugs in the hotel - rhey sent one which was so dirty that we had to go shop for 8 buckets and mugs for our rooms before cleaning and freshening up. 3) No door mats outside bathroom - asked for doormats - they said we dont have any - give us tine to see if we have towels to place - finallu got one for one room. 4) Dirty glasses and kettles in all rooms - cannot be used to drink water or make tea with visible dirt. 5) No clothes hanger space in some bathrooms - very awkward if you have more than 1person or kids in your rooms as you have to send all out before bathing. 2) Hotel service A) Dangerous lift - starts moving once the outergate is closed without the inner gate closing B) MY FATHER got stuck in the lift for almost 25mins - no body was monitoring and there is no intercom. C) Outer door of Lift does not close properly unless slammed - upon questioning - Receptionist started arguing that they cannot afford to keep staff to monitor. 4) No food available when you order - you need to wait till their set time to eat what they have cooked - you cannot change any menu basis your will or requirement . C) Staff - 1) Lazy - They have only 1 person to send to all rooms , rest 1 or 2 will laze around near reception and say - please wait till that 1 staff returns but we won't help. 2) Arrogant - For reasons mentioned in the review above. 3) Inefficient - For reasons above Note - My 8 year old child slept hungry stomach waiting for food for 2 hours because they did not have any facility serve food before 8 pm and we checked in at 5: 30 pm.- just imagine the wonderful service of they call themselves - A HOTEL.

Venue wise it's a good well decorated place. Can be considered for hosting big parties like marriage. But, the food which was provided by the club caterer was not of good quality. Food quality can be improved a lot! Washrooms can be better. Door handles and flush was not working for the girls toilet.

Very good hotel. Nice arrangement. Had a wedding on 25th June . Really went well. Sabyasachi is the manager of the Club & Hotel. Good person with nice attitude. Well done. People write on this forum. But people should come and see the reality.

I have a corporate conference on 9th June in this place .my experience is absolutely pathatic. AC has been started one hour late . welcome drinks,tea coffee has been served one hour late. Food quality in dinner was very poor .chiken quality was not eatable at all .sevice was obnoxiously unexpected.everyoone waiting for min 10-20min for chiken and fish.supply of foods was so bad some point of time I was irriteted . I am surprised that how come this type of hotel continue business in Kolkata . actually it's a cheeting with food lovers. Request not to arrange any party' in this place . very very poor experience.

Hotel is good neat and clean, rooms is good and service is fairly good, location alright ,small hotel not for big party.

Been there as an invitee so won't really comment on the price they have charged compared to the space they have provided. But room/hall that was rented was definitely not enough for the no., of invitees. Managers of such reputed places are expected to suggest to the renters the accommodation capacity. They have a parking space for the guests which is great. Just one complaint, their air conditioners don't work, and one may suffocate to death or die of extreme heat instead of enjoying the party. This is something the admin there should have checked. This could also be because of the gathering than the accommodation capacity of the room. Overall the place is good.

It was horrible. Mouse in the room number 115 on 26th Jan 2022. The property manager came and said change the room and stated to pay the bill. He don't even think of being decent and compensate. They say pay the full amount. I have the video should I upload it on my YouTube channel.

This is a Hotel. The food and staffs are good. Swiming pool ad an additional attraction of this hotel. They have thier own restourant and bar. You can book this hotel for fooding & lodging or for wedding party or for any kind of celebration. This is located on VIP Road, Haldiram More. They have parking facility.

I booked the place for my reception and at the day of reception there was this guy who threatened to stop the event for some advance payment of 20000. No etiquette at all and the experience was horrible. They will charge for every small things. Be careful and I would advise not to book . Please look out for other hotels

Most recently went the circle on 18th Feb 2022 for birthday of my niece. Every thing went well except the timing. I know the govt policy ends at 11:30. But they asked us to knave by 11:15. How a wedding could be finished. But food decoration and service was well maintained. Thanks Sabyasachi for such a wonderful evening. But please talk to your management about the timing.

Recently, I had my daughter's first birthday party and I invited 50+ guests at the Circle Club. The place is very nice along with the location. The decoration and arrangements were superb. They provided ample support and services. I especially very much liked the food items. Thanks to the chef. Its reasonable and the ambience is excellent.

When I saw the photos in google maps, I was elated but frankly, it is not well maintained. Swimming pools have turned green. Food could have been far more tastier. Decoration was okay... Not something out of the world. Fan was running on 5 th speed only. Lock of the room had come out. Overall it could have been far better. It did not meet up to my expectations.
