This system consists of a Network of 100–107  km and with lines overlapping and branching. As of 9 December 2014, Geotechnical surveys and formation of the company is being carried on for the implementation of the project.[citation needed] The project is projected to be completed by 2024.[citation needed] On 9 October 2015, the then Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had claimed to have received consent from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for Rs 12,000 crore loan at 0.3 percent interest rate for Bhopal and Indore Metro rail projects.[5] However, during an update on 7 March 2017 it was revealed by state’s Urban Administration and Development Minister Maya Singh that JICA has refused to fund the metro projects of Bhopal and Indore.[6] After the JICA’s refusal to fund the metro projects of Bhopal and Indore, the state government has sent a proposal to the Centre to get the funding from the bilateral/multilateral financial institutions. On 1 May 2019, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) gave in-principle approval to fund the Indore Metro project. The Union Government will stand as guarantor for the loan.[7]

I visited Metro Cash and Carry, Indore outlet this week to buy some Diwali gifts items for the staffs. The store is located near Niranjanpur Circle at the Eastern Ring Road itself, which is easily accessible by public and private transport. But they were allowed to purchase valid membership card holders only. The store timing is from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm every day. I was impressed by the variety and quality of products they offer at reasonable and wholesale prices. The store is spacious and well-organized, with different sections for different categories of products. The staff is friendly and helpful and met with Mr Mayank Lala in the store, and he assisted me with his teammates during my visit.

Good place for all products to buy, groceries, kids product, electronic items, clothes at some extent, space is also wide, parking is also good, one more thing if one forgotten to bring jhola or thaila with them no problem, from there people possibly have option to choose a bory type or cartoon box outer of entrance gate for their bought products to keep into. One draw back I found is you can only buy product if you have metro card.

In one word….Pathetic. Very very poor service. I asked them since Oct about my new card for which i shared my docs in oct still they are saying not done yet next time will do. That same excuses i am getting from my last 4-5 visits. Asked for my credit note again they denied due to server issue. I was asking from Diwali for this credit note. Executives there were not at all bothered to help u or assist u. Seriously not at all expected from a company like Metro. Visited on 11-12-2022, didn't get Tuar Dal a very basic and daily need item. The system was working offline so billing took extra time. Purchased Philips tube light set, but they refused to check while delivering.
