Recently visited aminia to try out their Jamai Shashthi Special Mutton platter. The Platters include 4 Mocktails, 2 types of Mutton Kebabs, Mutton Biryani with 4 pieces of Raita, 2 types of Naans, 2 types of Mutton side dishes, papad & 4 Firnis. The platter is very filling and can easily serve 5-6 people.

Location was very near to the shyambazar 5 point just on the main road.. People were welcoming well-behaved and whole hearted also.. Food was damn delicious specially mutton biriyani which is a signature dish of Aminia.. One downside I would rather say that it's not that spacious and less decorated also.. Everything else was fine.. Thank you ❤️🙏 Must visit once if you are a biriyani lover..

Good restaurants near hatibagan. The quality of food is realy good but quantity is little low. Price is on the higher side. Although the atmosphere is very good and soothing. Good for friends and family..... All food are super delicious but my choice is mutton biriyani .... At the same time they have some tasty vegetarian option ...... This was my first time in Aminia. The food quality and quantity both are adequate. Chicken Tikka Kebab looked mouthwatering and tasted full of flavour. The texture was nice as well as the pieces were juicy. On the other hand, Chicken Biriyani was just yummy. Recommended ✅. Must visit. You are gonna love it!

Good food, good place. I love the Kolkata biriyani of Aminia. Juicy and light. The kebab was so soft just like soft cheese. It was melting in my mouth. The mutton of the biriyani is also extremely soft and juicy. The price is a little high. The quantity of the food is just enough for a single person. There was a big piece of potato, and a moderate size mutton piece. The ambience of the place is romantic, great for family dinner. Also friends can visit if they love Indian food - this is one of the best Indian Restaurants one can visit. The behaviour of the waiters was nice, they served nicely. The taste was really good.

A 40-minute wait, but it was completely worth it for the biryani at this place. The biryani was absolutely delightful, with tender and juicy mutton cooked to perfection. Despite a bit of a slowdown in service during Puja, the quality of the biryani and the side dish, particularly the delectable gravy items, made the wait well worthwhile. Highly recommend it!

Its a very famous restaurant with many outlets around the city. Visited hatibagan outlet quite a time. Place is classy. Dim lights, seating arrangement of both chairs and couches. Service is quite good. Loved the ambience. It takes some time between the time of order and serve though. Kababs are really famous here they are juicy and tasty. Biryani is light and is perfectly cooked. The place is normally crowded. Sometimes have to wait outside to get a seat .The pocket pinch is on the higher side . Bt quality and quantity are satisfactory.

Absolutely gorgeous ambience with exceptional food taste. The waiters were decent enough and quite polite and they have their own unique way of serving which looked great. I would rate it as one of the best Aminias around kolkata.

Aminia, being a legacy of 90 years, has been profoundly emphasizing on its taste and aromatic chemistry of the spices that blend in perfectly. This branch of aminia is no doubt a great destination after shopping in hatibagan market but only problem here is they didn't serve any bread item which other branches did. They always say that breads like roti nun are not available so u have to choose either biriyani or rice polao. Beside that they r truly good in food affairs. But please put a blind eye abour their oil in gravy. U should seperate oil from ur gravy then eat bcz according to me these are super oily. Their kababs are no doubt so tender and juicy. Even their biriyani is also quite impressive because this is only oily at all. Plz try their mohito bcz it's too good. There is bathroom facility also and staffs are good at their work.

We visited this restaurant for lunch on a working day. We visited this place after 1pm. We ordered rumali roti but the waiter informed that their stove is not ready. Later I understood, they were not interested in making roti for 2 customers only. I don't know why they are even keeping it on their menu if they cannot serve. So we ordered jeera rice and chicken curry. The food was good.

Frankly speaking, it was very very good if you want to eat biriyani and they have increased the quality of biriyani before as well as quantity. It's better than Dada boudi biriyani according to me now. I'm happy that Aminia has improved the taste. Fully satisfied.

Biryani is famous, also good are the aminia special mutton curry, rezala, roti, parathas, and other Mughlai dishes. Prices are a bit high, so cost for two would be around ₹700-₹800. Located right on Bidhan Sarani, it is easily spotted from the street. This restaurant seats people on the first floor. Seating arrangements are good, soft chairs and sofas all around. Food quality is good, the ambience is quiet, and clean. All in all a very good experience for me.

The food is good but does not do justice according the price. Ambiance is nice and cozy.The waiting time after ordering is too long. I would recommend not to try in Durga Puja season . Had a hair in my chicken biryani once in Puja season . They replaced it obviously but it was not a pleasant experience.

I thought it is a lot for half biriyani and i got it split òn another plate. But voila, i finished it all. And please eat with hand. The mutton was well cooked. So was the aloo. Just perfect. I ordered an additional egg with the mutton biryani. Definitely try.

My favourite biryani-firni place since forever. The quality, quantity, taste of the chicken biryani here has not no match in the city, atleast for me. I had ordered chicken biryani along with chicken Handi, green salad and firni and again, I wasn't disappointed at all. They are abiding by all the rules set up by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. They are making sure that the food that they are delivering is safe to have with no compromise in taste. I absolutely loved it yesterday also, and I would highly recommend it! Happy fooding!

So we have Ordered Chicken Sheik Kabab and chicken malai kabab in starter and mutton biriyani with chicken tikka masala in main course. All the dishes were just awesome and the ambience is also good.

Last week I visited this wonderful restaurant which serves both buffet and ala carte menu. It's really spacious and has a separate bar section and smoking room. I loved the sculptures and drawings on the walls. Now coming to the food I tried:- The starters were really tasty and I loved the BBQ wings, Kebabs and Mourala Fish which was prepared in a dry mustard paste. It was really unique and yummy. I also equally loved the cheese balls and Veg Fingers. ♥️♥️They were crispy and soft from the inside. Chilli potato was not that great. Coming to the main course. I absolutely loved some of the dishes from the buffet. They had Herb Rice, Creamy Fish, Mutton Biriyani, Egg Masala , Chicken Changezi, Soups, Spaghetti, Hakka Noodles, Manchurian, Chole, Malai Kofta, Daal Makhani, Streamed Rice, Raita, Salad. 🤩😍 The Biriyani was great. And I didn't really like the taste of spaghetti. The Creamy Fish was a bit salty. Other than that everything was fine. 😋😋 There were 2 mocktails which were really refreshing. 🤟♥️ Moving on to dessert- They had Mini Choco Mousse which was my absolute favourite. It was divine.🤩♥️ The caramel Pudding was really delicious. 😍😍Firni and Gulab jamun was nice. 🥰 Overall I loved the experience and recommend this place for small hangouts!!!🤩🤩😍😍

The location of this chain of Aminia resturant is good as it's right in between the shopping street in shyambazar. I had mutton biryani and chicken roast here. The biryani's was delicious, however, there was no egg with the biryani and just had rice, mutton and one half potato.The quantity was good enough though. The ambience is good and you can enjoy here with friends and family.

We went during Iftar time, so the breads, side dishes and tikkas were not available so we had to have biriyani, but the biriyani wasn't that good either. Hoping to go back there and taste other items on the menu. 😕

One of my favourite restaurants in North Kolkata. Service and the behaviour of the staff is so polite. The food quality is great. Mostly they are very popular for their biriyani dish and kebabs. Alongwith Biriyani the other items are so good and delicious. Their Firni is so good.

Yesterday I ordered my lunch meal from this place, they take a huge care about the safety as the give a paper outside packet where it's written the temperature. Now comming to order I've order two portions of Chicken briyani which is really tasty and my favourite. One portion of chicken handi boness pcs of chicken which is my first choice when I'm having briyani as I love a side dish always, and lastly two portions of firnii which is a sweet dish for my meal. So yeah keep ordering ❤️👍

Entry hygiene and reception all are good. Sitting area is also too spacious and healthy atmosphere. Quality of service and foods are too nice. I can recommend all family members can visit this place for having food in good and healthy atmosphere.

Two days ago I went to aminia restaurant of hatibagan branch. The experience was superrrrrrrrrrr! Food quality was perfect and the service quality was also good. They are taking proper precautions during the pandemic. And they check temperature, sanitize, and make people seat at proper distance, leaving one or two table gap in between. Loved it! Perfect.

It's a pocket friendly common restaurant. It is known for biriyani but I tried butter nun and reshmi butter masala. Nuns are soft and buttery. Chickens are also soft amd tender. Waiters are well behaved and the food quality is quite good.

My First visit on this outlet post Covid. Well sanitized place however I am bit worried for the distance maintaining. Also there is only one washroom which can be congested during peak hours. Coming to food quality it is well cooked however the quantity of Special Mutton Biriyani is quite less in comparison to other top rated biriyani restaurants.

I had visited the restaurant period in the post lockdown period, which is Christmas of 2020. It was nice to see that physical distancing was being maintained and sanitization was being done. All of the staffs were wearing masks. Coming to the food, all were delicious. We had ordered Chicken Tandoori and Biriyani. The biriyani was priced on the higher side against the quantity provided. The ambience and hospitality was good too! We had paid using Dineout Pay which enabled us to avail 10% discount on the total bill.

Chicken Reshmi Kebab 2. Chicken Biriyani 3. Chicken Bharta Every food tastes too good and the quantity is also quite good. Each piece of Reshmi kebab in particular was also quite large in size and full of flavor. And there is no need to comment on biryani. The Bharta was equally good. Very poor experience. The food was served cold. Plus the waiters were unprofessional. I ordered a mutton biriyani and a chicken biriyani but they gave 2 chicken biriyanis. Also refused to change the plate. Added soft drinks along with our order which we didn't ask!! When confronted they were discourteous and rude. I never thought I would have such an experience with aminia Restaurant!

I wouldn't say that this is the best biryani i had but i would say that this is not the quality which aminia should serve . Aminia is a brand now and people like me who are foodie and explorers travel to these places to have these specialities offered . I ordered chicken biryani spl. It contained 3 big pieces of chicken 1 potato & 1 egg The rice grains were fully covered with the masala 100 points for that but Problem lies with chicken , it was hard and chewy the masala didn't reached inside the chicken . It was very plain and mediocre overall No salad or salan was served . Also there was an issue with my bill which i am not reffering here

Tried loads of kebabs and found only the malai kebab worth the hype. The galauti kebab was okayish. The biriyani was really satisfying, continuing its unbridled legacy. The Lahori chicken complemented well. The pick of the bunch were the biriyani and the kesar pista kulfi! Good job, আমিনিয়া!

I went there on the last 25th of December, We were the last customer that they allowed, Hospitality was very good. The quantity of biriyani and the other dish was too less, and the mutton piece of biriyani was too hard to tear. But the price was too high mean makes no sense. But the "Gajar ka halwa" was very delicious, it was rich in dry fruits.

Shyambazar Aminia, this restaurant is a very famous restaurant. Its food is good enough, but also quite expensive. Its rolls are quite good, only the price is a bit high. I would recommend that the parcel doesn't contain enough good stuff, so it should be taken care of.

Situated at Hatibagan.....this resturant has been serving some delicious Mughlai items from ages. The quite spacious resturant is situated at the first floor and offers a full ac dining. Coming to food, we tried their mutton biriyani, eģg biriyani with chicken lahori and paneer butter masala. Chicken lahori tasted heavenly while biriyani taste was also good. This outlet also serves rolls at the counter at ground floor.

One of the worst experiences. We ordered biriyani and honestly, the quality was not good. I have had biriyani from other outlets of aminia too, in comparison to that this one was the worst. Only the chicken bharta and the naan tasted good. The service we received was also not good enough.

I love this branch of Aminia which is situated in Hatibagan opposite to the Ajanta showroom. They are very fast with serving the dishes to you. I loved the mutton biriyani of this place. I have tried many other branches of Aminia but this one is the best. The quality they serve is enough for two people. We ordered chicken reshmi kebab which was damn juicy and soft. And also we ordered a special mutton biriyani which comes with two medium size mutton pieces, an egg and a medium size aloo. Overall my experience of this place has always been great. The ambience is also very soothing. If you're a biriyani lover, you must visit this branch urgently.

On Nabami day, Durga Puja, I was out for pandel hopping, my wife and I were very hungry, so we had only one address, Aminia Shyam Bazar, yes, we had to queue a bit. because the butt stuff and food are incomparable, so without talking, I ordered two egg Biryani, Boneless chiken (HandiChiken), salad, firnni. Aminia is an emotion. Having biryani from aminia ever since I was a kid and it's been my fav. They have opened multiple outlets and each of them is great. Love the starters , firni and biryani.

One of the best places in Kolkata to have biryani and kebabs. Chicken hariyali, jehangiri and cheese kebabs are must try. Also try the Special mutton stew.

The food was stale, it started stinking after 1.5-2 hours. Lastly, have to throw the food into dustbin and a total waste of money and food. Two plate veg dum biryani and one plate mutton lucknowi biryani were the items that were taken away, both the biryanis were stinking when opened within next 2 hours.
