Good eye hospital with many optical surgery and facilities at moderate price. It on the 4th floor and have a elevator facility. It opens from 8 am, though the doctors arrive after 9am approx. The place is provided with adequate chairs, fans and centralized AC. I specially liked the system in which tgey operate. It's quick and effective. There's different cash counters, receptions, eye exam, pharmacy and spectacles counter. Also the people who work here are very much helpful and well mannered.

Worst service… 1. First of all there is no emergency dept. Still they are charging money for emergency bill. 2. They are allowing patients as per billing time. That means those patients who has to go through test and all can will be entering before the patients who is already waiting in the queue. Similarly like me. My queue is getting long and longer as the patients are entering in between when ever they want. 3. There is no management. No manager . Not a single authorised person who can solve the problems of the patient . 4. If u have any problem you have to call the help line no. Or mail them . Where as I call them and also mailed them. But didn’t got any reply from them. 5. I am a healthcare worker myself. I am young and I had to wait for the queue and I could , But what about the old people ?? I seriously wonder and I am shocked to see how a hospital runs without any management???

Regarding the reputation and Distance ,we choose to visit there for my mother's eye issue. Since last three years we are visiting there but nothing has been changed in respective of administrative policies, space management, stuff behaviour and many others. I think only doctors are professional there as they don't have to interact with long waiting patients who are mostly senior citizens.. Total organization is completely inhuman.

Located on the 4th floor of Citi Mart Mall in Gariahat, this eye hospital provides various range of eye-care services by best medical practitioners. I have been a regular annual visitor in various branches of this hospital and I am very satisfied with their services. I came here for my eye check up which was completed within an hour. Firstly, book an apointment over the phone(phone numbers are given in their websites). I took an afternoon apointment with Dr. Champakali Biswas, and it was quite deserted at that time. The consultation fee is Rs. 200. I highly recommend Dr. Champakali Biswas to anyone looking for eye check up. She is very polite and attentive to your concerns. She did a thorough check-up of my eyes. Hygiene and cleanliness is well maintained. Washroom is quite clean.

For an eye hospital, they always have an appointment date atleast a week from today. No facility of same day opd. How does this hospital exist even. Fifth time in an year I have called and they have given a date 10 days from today for a checkup. When asked its urgent, I was asked to come to the hospital and if the doctor thinks he/she has time, he/she will spare a few minutes for me. Horrible. Please give a chance to the clinics ner your home as well. These hospitals think they are gods now a days.

Good place, well planned system of appointment, the whole process of eye checkup is fine. But as the place is a bit popular so one need to book his/her appointment 4-5 days before. The process of checkup is little bit time consuming but it is for a good reason I think because the doctors are spending more time on each patient. The hospital is very good n all the test were done amazingly but when I went to buy the specks the guy was rude n the staff were not very comfortable showing me the correct frames to me according to my budget. I used to visit Disha Hospital for my Father. Today I had visited for my Daughter. I found pathetic service from each employee of this organisation. Every one busy with their mobile. No one maintaining quality of service. It is really pathetic.

Do not conduct tests indicated in the prescription of other hospitals / doctors. You need to have a checkup in Disha with appointment only. The tests are to be conducted only if the doctor indicates. This is applicable for Senior Citizens also having cataract and glaucoma symptoms.

Though the hospital have good equipment but the staff should go through a management process of training them to be more efficient not everyone has 4 5 hours to make a single doc visit. Staff semmed to be roaming around not knowing the wearabouts of doctors. Making 60 70 year olds to wait for 3 4 hours straight with no covid screning in place. It's just seems like a operation that is put together every morning to be discontinued tomorrow.

High Waiting Time for getting Appointment and also during Cataract Operation in OT. At 8.00 Am they have taken our patient for cataract operation and its already 4 hrs passed, still patients is waiting in OT for getting operate. No getting proper response from staffs. It seems like a government institution, no one works and provides good service to the patient. My experience is horrible with Disha as spent close to Rs.4000 for a progressive lens and found that the vision is not correct still. Got the specs checked at Disha again to ensure it's not the fault of the optical company who manufactured the lens. I got my eyes tested again to ensure it was not the fault of the hospital and what I got to hear is the person testing the eye purposefully gave a lower power to train my eyes to adjust to a lower power. Internal ambiance is very wonderful. There are 2 departments to visit to your desire doctor. First 1A counter make print your eye power, second in 1B counter there are hospital staff check eye with screen test and may provide eye drop to check power. As previously I I have faced problem I didn't use eye drop power test. Then they recommend to another counter for my appointed doctor. It is time consuming everytime.

My mom did her cataract surgery from here. For both her eyes. 1 in 2016 and another in 2020 (during September pandemic time). The entire experience was smooth, the Doctors were very friendly. It's a busy place, but I am happy with the end result. They also have a mediclaim department where the surgery was covered by insurance.

Disha eye care is only fancy stuff and no help. People checking your eye is not a doctor and by the time you visit the real doctor here, you can very much expect him to say that your eyes are in bad condition and prescribe you with their own medicines. Perhaps their cheating ways can be overlooked by people but not me. Having a history of eye problem from childhood I am very much familiar on this process and I can assure you Disha should never be your destination for eye checkup rest assured any operations.
