We
have
been
visiting
this
hospital
since
2013.
Over
the
course
of
10
years
my
parents
were
admitted
multiple
times
,
apart
from
a
few
distinct
situations
(
like
in
covid
time
)
i
have
always
received
good
treatment
and
behaviour
from
all
staff.
I
will
put
the
things
i
think
can
be
improved
at
the
end
of
this
review.
We
visit
Dr.
Amit
Haldar,
Dr.
B.B.
Sarkar,
Dr.
Ronen
roy
,
Dr.
Arup
Ratan
Dutta,
Dr.
Suvanan
Ray,
All
of
them
are
exceptional
doctors
no
doubt.
But
i
would
like
to
take
a
moment
to
thank
the
non
medical
staff
of
the
hospital
too
!
They
are
super
helpful,
kind,
understanding
and
compassionate.
Doctors
are
busy
as
they
should
be,
without
the
help
of
non
medical
staff
it
would
have
been
difficult
to
get
appointments,
and
follow
up
visit
slots.
I
would
like
to
specially
mention
Saikat
Da
(
Admin
)
and
Ravi
Da
(
Admin
)
for
their
immense
help
during
multiple
times
that
my
parents
had
to
be
admitted.
The
nursing
staff
are
equally
good
and
they
never
hesitate
to
pass
on
communication.
Apart
from
the
abovementioned,
Miss
Debarati,
Miss
Joyee
from
Ortho
OPD
have
been
immensely
supportive.
Without
their
understanding
and
empathy
it
would
have
been
difficult
for
my
aged
parents
to
go
see
the
doctor
for
checkups.
Ashim
da
(
Dr.
B.B.
Sarkar’s
assistant
)
is
gem
of
a
person.
I
am
really
thankful
to
all
the
staff
at
this
hospital
for
their
generosity.
Even
the
insurance
desk
staff
are
extremely
friendly.
We
have
visited
so
many
times
that
i
even
know
the
staff
at
the
canteen
as
well,
even
they
are
so
good
!
Before
i
forget,
i
am
intensely
thankful
and
grateful
for
the
staff
at
the
emergency
room.
They
are
the
best.
There
have
been
so
many
ocassions
where
they
have
been
saviours
for
us.
Even
the
ambulance
service
is
great,
its
mostly
equipped
with
all
things
necessary
in
case
of
emergency
and
the
staff
who
come
with
the
ambulance
are
knowledgable
and
helpful.
Regarding
the
distinct
situation
i
mentioned
above
where
i
was
not
happy
was
in
2022
when
my
father
was
tested
positive
for
covid
and
admitted.
The
doctor
under
whom
my
father
was
admitted
was
not
known
to
us
and
he
was
unnecessarily
increasing
the
stay
by
testing
him
for
covid
every
alternate
day.
As
he
was
admitted
in
covid
ward,
we
were
not
even
allowed
to
visit
and
there
was
no
way
to
contact
this
doctor.
Everyone
knows
even
if
you
recover
the
test
can
still
show
positive
for
even
a
few
weeks
later.
I
had
to
bring
this
up
to
the
patient
experience
staff,
who
finally
helped
us
resolve
and
get
discharge.
That
was
the
only
one
time
in
last
10
years
i
felt
the
doctor
unnecessarily
trying
to
increase
the
stay.
Things
that
can
be
improved
:-
1.
There
is
no
fixed
timeslot
provided
for
OPD
visits.
For
example,
if
a
doctor
is
available
from
10
am-
1
pm,
every
patient
is
asked
to
be
at
the
OPD
at
10
am.
There
is
not
a
lot
of
space
or
chairs
for
all
patients
and
it
gets
really
crowded.
Moreover,
for
elderly
patients
its
difficult
to
wait
for
3
hours.
So,
if
possible
then
proper
timeslots
should
be
provided
to
each
patient
to
avoid
the
unnecessary
crowd
and
wait
time.
2.
The
pharmacy
somehow
seems
always
short
staffed
and
its
a
forever
queue,
so
even
if
they
offer
10%
discount
on
medicines
on
the
day
of
discharge
we
generally
avoid
availing
it
as
the
wait
time
can
be
sometimes
more
than
40
mins
and
after
waiting
for
40
mins
they
might
tell
you
the
medicine
is
not
available.
3.
Recently
a
new
policy
has
been
started
that
if
we
need
to
book
an
appointment
for
a
doctor,
a
payment
link
will
be
sent
to
registered
mobile
number,
you
have
to
pay
within
30
mins
using
that
link,
then
only
the
appointment
will
be
confirmed.
Now,
this
can
be
difficult
for
elderly
patients
who
are
not
tech
savvy
or
do
not
use
electronic
banking.
I
live
away
and
my
parents
dont
use
smart
phone
or
ebanking,
and
you
do
not
even
allow
changing
the
registered
mobile
number
over
phone
or
email
so
that
i
can
make
it
my
number
and
do
the
payment.
There
are
sure
many
others
like
me.
I
would
really
request
the
hospital
to
revise
this
policy.
