Worst Eye treatment center. Right from reception to the opthalmologist chamber. The surprising system of this hospital is that they will never hand over the patient case file to the patient party, as a result you have to reach them again for future consultation. Behaviour of the staffs are bad . No proper sitting place for the waiting patients. Suggest find other places for your treatment.

A reliable eye clinic with number of good eye specialist, opthalmologist, eye surgeon. The staffs are well behaved and coaporative enough. At first you have to visit reception counter and get a docket. Then you can see the doctor. Here all the tests are done like ECG ,optometry etc etc. Cataract operation, glucoma treatment, power checking etc all the eye problems are treated sincerely. Here frame also available. Good sitting arrangement s are here for aged people with centralised ac. All solutions under one roof.

My mom & dad's eye (cataract) surgery was done here. Overall I had good experience. Dr. Sandeep Mitra is an excellent doctor. Charges are nominal. If you are planning to visit this eye hospital, it is better call them and take an appointment and make sure you have 3 to 4 hours time in hand.

Even one star would be an exaggeration. Very very unprofessional place. Staffs are superbly unprofessional. The general attitude is that they are doing the patients a great favour by providing them the necessary services even though the patients are paying handsomely for the same. The sterilisation protocols are very poor. The waiting area inside is dark and dingy. If you guys have ample time to waste and are looking forward to be hushed away like how it’s done in a government hospital, please do visit this place. Moreover there is no parking. N the doctors think they’re some gods n goddess who are obliging the patients by giving them a shred of time from their busy schedule despite the fact that they’re being paid for it. I consulted Dr Sudipta Mitra and she didn’t even have the basic courtesy to write the diagnosis on my prescription. She just wrote the tests that she wanted me to do. They just know how to extract money. Worst experience ever.

worst place ever... please do not visit this place... money minded... unprofessional doctors... waste of money and waste of time.... I recently visit this place... the doctor did not even listen to me... she does not even care what my actual problem is... she will not give you a chance to talk... even if you are trying to tell her your problem,your pain which you are going through... she will not let you speak and will accuse you... very unproffessional.... they only want to make you a fool and want your money nothing else.

I got my right eye cataract operated on 28.05.2018. It was a wonderful experience for me. This modern technology was completed within about 30 mins. Dr.Ayan Mitra performed the surgery. He was simply brilliant. The supporting staff were so helpful. I'll go for my left eye operated from here only and certainly to be done by Dr.Ayan Mitra. Excellent Eye Hospital in Kolkata.

Worst . I went for my eye infection. Dr suggested me two drops. Am using it for three days and no improvement. I was asked to visit the clinic on Saturday. For some reason I couldn't go. And now Sunday the hospital is closed and on Monday they are celebrating Saraswati puja. How niçe!! So now I will have to wait till Tuesday with my horrible infection. Wonderful service! !!!!

Very poor experience. Donot go for surgery here if you have insurance. They send minimum amount for approval and rest they will take cash, though in advance before surgery. Verry poor experience.

Worst Eye Hospital ever. Went for a basic eye check up and the doctor is forcing us for this treatment, that treatment which will gradually fetch them more money. Made us wait for 3 hours without any reason making it crowded. Please don't visit this hospital ever. It is opposite of South City Mall.

Excellent hospital for eye checkup and day care facilities. Charges are bare nominal as compared to very high price across Kolkata.Would have been better if the Doctors come on time.

Very poor service in terms of maintaining appointment time. I had to wait for three and half hours.

The external waiting area is well air conditioned. Clean. Initially on arrival, one should approach the counter and take a physical token and wait. The staff will then call the token number after some time. Then you need to go the counter, explain your requirements and take consultation request with anyone of the available doctors. The initial consultation fee is Rs 150. After paying, you need to wait again at the external waiting area for sometime. Then you are asked to go inside which leads you to the second waiting area when patients wait mostly either awaiting doctor call or having been given eye drops for dilation of the eye balls for investigation. This area air conditioning is weak or not adequate to the occupancy. Before the meeting with the doctor, initial investigation is with the junior doctors or optometrists. Overall well behaved staff especially the junior doctors or optometrists. Since there is no facility for online appointments, one needs to arrive early to register for token to save on waiting time.

Rude horrendous staff that behave like they are doing you a favor. Made a fuss about not having change and then using the card for an amount less than 500. And then waited for two hours before we could do a basic eye test to be told to come on another day cos the eyes need to be dilated!

Extremely Money Minded, once the stuff knew You have medi-claim, they will be after you to get admitted without considering. Just be aware of the ground stuff, they are after your money not the health/eye problem.
