My father himself a retired surgeon was diagnosed with a prostrate cancer in the month of July’21 & was under the treatment of Doctor P.K. Mishra who himself had worked with my father long back. He is a very good doctor & very polite and listen to the patient carefully and try to make them understand what the real problem is. Caring. Unhurried. Sympathetic. Professional. He has a good command over his area of specialization. Given my Father's age 78, he was gentle while examining him. Coming back to the hospital, apart from the admission procedure which took a hell lot of time & due to unprofessional behavior of the person in the counter for the admission, rest all went good. We went for out of pocket admission & operation, so everything had to be paid upfront(80-90%) including the bed charges/OT/etc. We opted for the package system for that hospital & opted for the Double Bed/Four Bed which as per AMRI rate was around 110000. But due to the bed unavailability my father was upgraded to higher level & was informed that will be shifted back once the bed is available in the evening. But my father felt comfortable in the Deluxe room & we opted for the same till the discharge (obviously with the difference in the rate), which I thought was a good decision. OT was carried on the next day on the 2nd floor & only 1 was allowed inside the waiting area of the OT due to COVID protocol. There was a decent canteen to have your lunch/snacks with few options available. Visitors have paid parking access in the basement of the of the hospital without the fear of getting your car/bike being towed away while you are in the hospital for your dear one. Visiting hours have been limited to 1 hr each in the morning & evening with only 1 person allowed due to COVID. The nursing staff, doctor, assistants were all well behaved & helped my father throughout his stay. To my surprise, during the discharge we were not charged more than the package used apart from nominal COVID precaution charge. I would recommend the hospital/facility of AMRI Mukundapur & Doctor P.K.Mishra . I am really impressed to visit him with my father and advice everyone if there is any problem related to their Uro or kidney they must take his valuable advise once. Attached few snaps I could take if someone finds it useful & hope this review helps some.

Two admission counters. 1st counter on the left is Mr. Dutta who will not process admission for General public even though the counter he is sitting in is the Admission counter. All admissions is done on the second counter on the right. Each admission takes approx 10 minutes to process. With just 1 counter on any given day, imagine the time you will have to be in queue just for admission. Yes it's a hospital and not a five star hotel. But if you going to charge your room beds more than the cost of a 5 star hotel. We expect some kind of a service to be given to the patient.

Guard are really rude here they always deny to meet with your patients. You cannot control cost of medication here. Purpose behind that is only to raise your medical bills. staff and guards are non cooperative they don't understand the situation of a patient. Today my wife goes for a minor surgery and i told to gaurd that please let me go because doctor call me to come and meet one's before surgery they deny me then I talk to higher management person then after they allow to go at that time she is taken to operation theater.they really illiterate people's here. Hospital have to be transparent with relatives who are most worry about there love one's. Doctor and nurse staff are well managed they are so friendly and resolve your all query on immediate basis but they are robots controlling authority is some where else. Overall my experience is so horrible and you all please go to other hospital where the gaurd Or management can understand that u have to meet with your patient and also manager have to be polite & transparent. Charges are too high as compare to other centers. I suggest only those people can come here who won't know value of their money and who won't care about their patients. Patients are like money making machine for them only. If a person who don't have insurance they please don't come here. This hospital not for lower and middle class people. Only for upper class peoples who have lots of money and have lots of patience to leave their love one freely in staff's hand and leave them for their curse. In India unemployment is on peak and this kind of hospitals lotted there hard saving in terms of unnecessary medication charges. India have to control over that kind of miss match in high prices. Local peoples can't afford that medical facilities and they goes to jholachhap doctors and that doctors think that they found some bakra who trapped in there net. These facilities have to be free in India just like other developed countries.

NEVER VISIT THIS PLACE. This is not hospital but a note printing organization. Dr. Mainak Malhotra - First he charges Rs. 800 as consultation, advises for tests then to see the reports very next day he again charges Rs. 800. Every visit is chargeable. Nowhere in the world things work like this. Next Dr. Akhilesh Agrawal a plastic surgeon. He asks for xray and CT scan. CT scan is of Rs. 9000. Which is not required at all in the patient's case. Even the radiologist is shocked why Dr. wrote CT scan. He goes on abrupt leave then without seeing the reports. To show the reports to other Doctor again they charge fees. This is a BIG STAIN in healthcare industry. INSTEAD VISIT NEARBY HOSPITALS.

A well equipped well organised Multispeciality hospital. All the staffs I meet were polite & helpful. My purpose was with Dr Dipendra Kr Pradhan, a extremely polite & friendly neurosurgeon. He did a stereotactic biopsy of my mother with proper care. This person is best in his field. Overall the hospital is extremely clean & maintained. Spent some good time at the canteen area. This place help to cope with the basic needed waiting time.

AMRI Hospitals Ltd is the premier private healthcare provider of Eastern India, with three super specialty hospitals at Dhakuria, Mukundapur, and Salt Lake, in Kolkata. I went to the one in Mukundapur .. quite a bit in the interiors .. cannot proceed without a cab spacious, clean environment.. good panel of doctors.. treatment went well .. but the admission process and discharge process is not smooth.. specially the one who is undergoing treatment under medical insurance.

Am giving a mixed review here, had admitted my father in May when he was Covid positive and they have treated him very well all the way from the Emergency to Icu to the General ward, all staffs were excellent and doctors was also first class! Today I admitted myself for a small procedure, the admission counters are bad! There was 2 counter open and we had queued in one of them and after waiting for about 20mins in the queue till our turn came they said admission procedure is in counter 2!! We had to queue again and wait.. This guy just won’t process any admission while there are so many people waiting. Just a waste of time standing and waiting.. finally got the admission work done in 1 hour 15 mins!! Can you imagine taking an hour per customer?? And this is a Pvt hospital in the city! I think they can do better job here and this is the first impression of the hospital’s service for the customers. Have rated 4 stars for the doctors and nurses.

The service of Amri Mukundapur is incredible. All staffs are very nice, polite, efficient, not only they have taken great care of my health but also took care with empathy which is very rare in hospitals of West Bengal. Great nursing, medical treatment, nice ambience from start to finish. I highly recommend this hospital.

Good points: systematic, clean, polite behaviour from staff. Drawback: distance from main road. (Around 1km from EM Bypass the nearest bus stop or upcoming metro station. This is a problem if you come by public transport. I did a preventive health check up here. They have given a meal during health check up. The process was smooth. The rate of different health check up is also attached Canteen facilities are also available here.

Opted for a Single Private AC room for my wife's pregnency and the experience we had is extraordinary. The services are top notch, all nurses are super friendly and skilled. They do regular followups and the department heads visited our cabin every hour. They provided almost everything in our corporate package. We highly recommend this hospital for any pregnancy related services.

AMRI Hospital is very big and beautiful. It looks like a 5star hotel not a Hospital. The Services is very good and well maintained. Doctors and all types of staffs are good and friendly. There are automatic doors in entrance gates. Very clean and clear environment. you will not bore inside. A Cafe inside where you find everything but very costly.

For me it was an emergency call. Ot done within hours. Process was good and peoples are helping. But the form fill up section TPA is very slow.. Taking too much time. another minus point is.. In pediatric twin sharing room .. After ot.. There is only a plastic chair for mother to sit over night. Hospital authority should rethink it.

I was admitted at AMRI Hospital Mukundapur for two days for a minor surgery. I was impressed by their management team and their efficiency in work. Most of the things were in proper order and the hospital was clean and well-maintained. The nurses were very good and responsive to my needs. They were professional and well-behaved. Food is also good and in right proportion. The hospital is also cost-effective and the rates are reasonable for the quality of service. The only downside I observed was the lack of proper coordination and cooperation between nurses of different departments. Sometimes, there was confusion and delay in getting the right nurse for the right task. There was also a lack of proper planning while setting up the cabins. These are the reason I rated 4 star. Overall, I had a satisfactory experience at AMRI Hospital and I would recommend it to others.

AMRI hospitals has been known for the medical services they are providing. Yes, this hospital has robust infrastructure consisting of several super speciality. Not only from West Bengal but also from Bangladesh, patients are coming here. The hospital running in a systematic way so you will find everything here. The main concern may be cost. If you have medical insurance then it is ok. However if you do not have insurance then may have to pay lakhs of rupees if your patient is critically ill.

Had a nice experience at AMRI Mukundapur where my wife had her C-section. Overall the support staffs & sisters were helpful and my wife didn't face much challenge post operation. One suggestion, it would be better to keep baby with mother that helps to create nice bonding rather than keeping them separate in nursery.

My 5 years old daughter was admitted in AMRI mukundopur under Dr Bhaswati Acharya (pediatric gastro). She was there for 6 days. The behaviour of the staffs and the nurses were unbelievable good. My daughter and me didn't feel like a hospital. And at the time of discharge they behaved so good that is lifetime memory for my daughter... Now she is missing the nurses also...

The best service received on the treatment. A very friendly environment is a much needed requirement for a patient. The brilliant lot of Sisters( mousumi, annesha, soma , sanarai, Jasmine, Dalia, Shashmita)and house keeping staffs. Just a suggestion that a few more house keeping staffs are needed to be appointed to cater better the patients.

I wish I have never ever went to AMRI Mukundapur, where human life is used as a commodity. I don't know what to say,so so so much terrible experience one can get,I have never ever thought of.Sometimes, actually they forget is it a 5-star hotel or a multispeciality hospital - everything is overpriced over here with negative satisfaction and treatment.I will never suggest this hospital to anyone. They charged 100 or 50 gloves per day without any such requirement, can anyone give me any clarification on this? My grandfather was admitted to the hospital. At first, I thought they are giving the best possible treatment but later I found out that they did all the unnecessary treatments to fulfill their motive, that is,to increase the bill, which resulted out to be life threatening. They kept him for a month to increase the bill without giving any proper treatment, but later,we were bound to take him to different hospital, there we got to know, many things they did wrong alongwith the unnecessary stuffs. Moreover, the staffs are very rude, too much slow and poor management and service. Also, during discharge, they delay so much that it seems like they don't even know how to work.At first, they should know how to work then they should sit to serve people.I really had a very bad experience,if you really want your near and dear ones to receive proper care, service and treatment,it is my earnest request to not admit them. HERE,needless to say,if you want to waste your hard-earned money without caring for yourselves or your dear ones, then go ahead and admit.

The services of AMRI (Mukundapur) is incredible. All staffs are very nice, polite, efficient. They have taken great care of myself which is very rare in hospitals of West Bengal. All nursing staffs (Such as Samrat, Shubhankar Panda, Jyotsna, Pranab, Sweety, Shankha Sheet, Rima & others) cared me as family member. Dr. Sangeeta is soo SMART, CARING & PROBLEM SOLVER. She can handle all problems within second by her smart personality that is learnable for me. I had been forgotten my home for 3 days because of their caring. Great nursing, medical treatment, nice ambience from start to finish. I highly recommend this hospital's Nursing System. Food quality & serving time is also highly appreciated. But Billing clarity was not clear to me. Billing system confused me. It should be rectified.

Pathetic service from Parking to Doctor. Visited there with my 10 month child. The keys to my car was lost by the parking person. They called my 10 months daughter empty stomach at 11 for the test and did the test at 1:47 PM. I reached the hospital at 10:50 and went around find where the test will be done till 12:45. No one had clear idea where they need to send me . After reaching asked the security where will the test be done he said he had no idea. The help desk sent me on 8th floor but the test was later done on the ground floor. It was all mess with 10 month child staying hungry for long hours. Will never visit again that’s for sure.

Modern multi-speciality hospital with all amenities at Mukundapur. Direct bus is there from railway station. 24A/1, AC-24, S-24. But expensive. Wheelchair accessibility is there. Car parking also available. Nearby restaurants also there. Even guest houses are there to stay.

Worst experience.. these peps may have very high treatment facilities but as far as management goes it gets worse than most government hospitals. To discharge a patient we had to go through 4+ hrs. I am not that kind of person who writes reviews that often but this time I can't help myself. Please don't trust anyone blindly I think review like mine will be out there. Don't just go through those appealing positive ratings and reviews.

Terrible experience. The night staff is horrible and rude, admission counters are lost and don't know what is to be done. The insurance offices are slow most of the staff are always coming out and drinking tea during their shift. As a patient you have to ask them 5-6 times for your requests to be fulfilled. The discharge procedure also took almost 12 hours. Exorbitantly priced for the services given. Hospital ceiling are broken and almost falling the walls are horribly dirty. Would definitely not recommended my family or friends to this hospital.

I’m glad to have brought my father for treatment to AMRI Hospitals, He was being treated under Dr. Angshuman Mukherjee who made sure my dad would get a lot better than what he was at the time of Admission. He was admitted to room no. 1608, a private room, that was kept really well with regular cleaning etc. even at late night, round the clock. The facility of rooms, nursing staff, cafeteria and the in room services are top notch and provide value for the money you spend. Hospitals generally tend to overspend when it comes to customers with Mediclaims, I was pleasantly surprised that AMRI is a lot different and would only prescribe tests are required. Overall, it has been great experience here, from daily checks with us on the service, nursing, food etc. to the overall treatment of doctors and care provided by them. I would recommend anyone who needs to visit the hospital.

Writing this review straight from Room no 1613. If you're thinking of admission for your baby's delivery, I wouldn't recommend. Why ? Please hear me out... 1. We have opted for one of their premium package (Single occupancy room)where everything sould be included. Long story short it's not. Starting from surgical gloves, drinking water to dietician charges would be included as extra. I don't understand what is the point of taking all inclusive package ! 2. They are operating with inadequate stuffs. My wife had to wait hours in the nersery (3rd floor) because no one to attend the call in the 6th floor. That time my wife was in severe pain due to surgery. I have asked several sisters in the 6th floor whether they are overburden with their work. They all confirmed the same and requested me to submit formal complaint to the floor manager. 3. Absolute zero covid protocol is being followed. In the visiting hours, only one person is allowed to visit patient due to covid risks where there is no one at the entry gate is available for thermal check and basic sanitization, their both the lifts are allowed to carry more than 20 people each at a time even people without masks. P.S - on a positive note, my wife had a very good experience in OT. All doctors were very good. Foods are healthy and delicious although lack in options. I have nothing against any stuffs or sisters. They were doing there job.

My baby was admitted in emergency and was in paediatric ward bed no 1421.The experience was a bitter sweet one. The nurses were good but they need to be a bit more caring as on the day of admission I asked one at night to make milk for my baby but in reply she said that she could only give the things at my reach but not make it. Rest days nurses who were on duty all were cooperative and nice. The housekeeping staff were very supportive and cordial than the nurses there. Now comes the food...it needs a whole around improvement. The infant foods need to made with much care rather than boiling sooji in water and adding salt when Dr said to give upma to my baby.
