Wanted to share unbiased feedback. I had visited the hospital in Apr22 and this is my first impression. Well, the hospital is indeed placed at a very strategic location on Andul Road near Nabanna. When you are coming from Kolkata, after the toll plaza, take the extreme left lane, take a round about then move straight down the flyover. At the flyover exit, it falls on the right hand. Hospital is a part of Narayan chain of hospitals and medical centres. Narayana is very reputable brand and know for their great hospitality and services. Staffs are very curtaicious, helpful and professional. My experience with Paediatric OPD is worth sharing since it was well organised, managed and executed. They have ample chain of doctors at service to perform each and every tests carefully. Charges are reasonable at par with the service. Multiple HOD doctors available at the branch. Emergency service is open 24x7. House keeping staff takes care of cleanliness. Ample sitting arrangements for patients at the waiting area. The premise has ample of snacks stall, tea stall and some quick bite in case you need to give your empty stomach a break. Though some area of improvements needed like More lifts or elevators needed for patients and their relatives to avoid crowding. Sanitizer should have been available at strategic points for visitors. Car parking is an issue, in case you are driving. No visitor parking space available inside the campus. You will have to park car somewhere outside - though lanes outside hospital is narrow so you may have a tough time. Although there are some improvements needed, I give 5 stars in respect because people get a new life here and they perform their basic duties well. I hope you never face a situation where you need to pay a visit. Stay healthy, stay safe.

I visited first time this hospital. Horrible feelings. There is no difference with a govt. hospital. There is no discipline. Corridors look like a colony. Any body any time entering to AUC. Neither doctor nor on duty nurses are asking for entering without permission. Forget about visiting hour. No security is there to ask for PASS. Pathetic. Horrible experience. Pantry is full of cockroach. No body bother. Cockroaches are travelling happily. I have killed one in front of pantry. Unless management is strict, this hospital can't compete with Kolkata hospital. Success rate will reduce. I will never suggest any of my close member to go there for treatment. Thank you,

Such a pathetic service.. They are charging money for Doctor's PPE KIT from every patient coming for outdoor treatment.. Doctor is using one kit at a single seisson but money is paid by all patients on every seisson.. Such a funny scam.. Stop doing unethical business..

It's undoubtedly one of the best hospitals in the city when it comes to Oncology .... For the last three years I have had the opportunity to remain attached to this hospital as a patient and I must say the doctors here are too good along with the nursing staffs .... The only Con that I had experienced in these last 3 years is that the food provided to the indoor patients is not so top notch ... It's kind of descent .

Never Trust on this Hospital.. My wife has admitted in this Hospital on 8th December 2020 for Caesar delivery under Dr.Basudeb Mukharjee and on 9th we have blessed with a little boy but after 4 days on 13th my wife has expired,my wife condition was absolutely fine and on 12th evening I have talked with my wife at 12:30am but on 13th morning suddenly I got call from this Hospital that my wife condition was serious and when I have reached there my wife was no more.There is ultimate medical and Nursing’s stuff negligence and my wife every time called me and she told me that there Nursing’s stuffs are not cooperating with her....and I can’t express my situation

For OPD new patients need to register @300 rs and any doctor consultation would cost 850 INR separately. Their moto is health care @ affordable cost although it is relative from patients perspective. Overall it is a good healthcare unit.

Hello everyone, On 18th September we lost our uncle (bade papa) due to medical negligence of Woodland Hospital. He was admitted to the hospital on 24th of August. Everyday we got a call from hospital stating he was in a better condition, even we talked to him the day before the unfortunate incident took place, suddenly on friday morning we received a call that he is no more. We couldn't believed what happened, and most important how all this happened. You can get appointments of many famous doctors here.. I had the experience of Gynecology department..My wife had an appointment of Mr.Pushan Kundu,He is an overall good doctor..very much expert in the field of Obstetrics Gynecology..I am satisfied with the doctor,also with all the staff,their behaviour is good but....This hospital has some very much irritating problems : 1. No parking available at all. You can come from Delhi or Dehradun you will not get any parking facility here..so people coming in cars,beware. 2. They have a very peculiar token system where they issue tokens based on department types..this creates a ruckus at the front entrance itself as this system is not efficient at all. There are huge number of people(who wears mask below their nose and face) just crowding at the gate to get their turn. You have to always watch a very small 32 inch small tv screen to watch out for your token number.This system also announces token no(only the number not letters).Sometimes this peculiar system crashes and you may get called after 1.5 to 2 hours. So if you want to get a doctor appointment,you should atleast come here 2 to 3 hours ago before your appointment time. 3.Sometimes people whose token no is not announced,crowds the reception counter to get their calls early,so the counters may get jammed at anytime. 4.Reception desk does not always have card swipe machines(POS)..so you may have to make your payment in cash..

On a high level.. only go there if you have lots and lots of money..n u have someone u know directly in the hospital..The place is overpriced. The staff is rude. They treat you as a money generating machine. I took my dad for treatment for cancer. Utter negligence from their side resulted in 3rd degree bedsore. The people are are not doing their job correctly. This place should be shut down.

Probably one of the worst hospitals in the entire India, - the most weird procedure for admission in the whole India, they only admit patients who are under treatment from their own hospital. If somebody is under treatment from doctor from other hospital, they don't take the patient, unless we book an appointment in the OPD, and wait for days until the patient goes in critical condition and dies. They do not take patient unless they are just before death. It was a great mistake treating here. THIS IS THE WORST AND MOST THIRD CLASS HOSPITAL IN ENTIRE INDIA. THIS HOSPITAL IS ONLY FOR OPD. This hospital has killed my father, after 10 hours of my father's hospitalization, my father, a chronic kidney patient, called me saying nobody was going to him even after repeated call and bed-side button pressing, no treatment or diagnosis was done to check reason of his sickness, we got call from hospital after 2hrs of that call informing he got cardiac arrest and he went into comatose and he was kept in ICU ventilation for 10 days since then. The hospital harrassed us repeatedly on different phases, including sudden rise in ICU bed charges right after the admission of Saurav Ganguly. They never bothered to attend our phone calls, never allowed to see my father, I still remember my father calling us helplessly and saying, "Come upstair, come to me, I am feeling cold, nobody is coming to attend, I am feeling like fainting", then he said something that I could not understand, he went into deep coma forever. #medicalnegligence #hospitalscams #worstHospitalWoodlands

No doubt doctors are best here. But i have a question which on asked to the hospital's management doesn't satisfied me. Your website have laboratory test prices which on prescribed to the patient in the hospitals make bill of more than 60% for each test. Why the test which is priced in website is less than the price in the bill if the patient is admitted to the hospital.? I can provide the bill and screenshots in your email. Just a query.

Hospital is ok but reception staff are absolutely useless..they work worst than rural gov hospital. They will not respond to the call for appointment neither they will help you when you visit them. They have the attitude as if you are a beggar to them

It's quite an important hospital at this part of the city. Doctors of various specialities serves several types of patients. Emergency services available. Admission is also available on recommendation of concerned doctor. Services is pretty good overall. Would have been much better if charges(rate) were a bit less. Two wheeler parking and vehicle parking is not available at the hospital premises.

Actually to us this is the best place for various medical treatment with Genuinity and care in kolkata. My wife was admitted for a Test and stayed for 3 days. She was very happy in all respect. Both of my children were born here , four decades back... Things are as before but the spectrum of treatment got widened. But it is costly. Fraudsters. They try every trick in the book to extract as much money as possible. Their grievance cell is nothing but their spokesperson, they try to defend their hospital no matter what. Service quality is pathetic to say the least, nobody takes accountability for anything. They give dates for surgery and when you go all prepared they would say room is not available. Doctors ask for extra money in cash below the table. Total mess.

1450rs plus 1100rs gone in a blink of an eye . When you call the dr that the prescribed medicines are not working he tells you go and visit another dr . where is my hard earned money you cheat doctor ? Give me that and I shall go to another dr .(worst orthopaedic) Respected woodlands hospital authority, You have earned a goodwill ...but if these kind of drs are there sitting in the outdoor you will be doomed someday .

Not a good experience at all. First of all booking an appointment itself is a hassle. The number in Google is always busy or switched off. If you call there helpline, they ask you to pay the money upfront . Somehow I got the appointment for vaccination of my infant. The hospital pharmacy didn't have the required vaccine so had to wait . Even though we were one of the first to arrive, we almost missed the doctor.. somehow we made it to the doc in the last minute, the doctor just gave her the injection without even a consult or a check. This is not expected when you charging a consultant fee of 850rs and registration fee of 300rs. Thoroughly disappointed. I'll ask people to lower expectations if at all visiting this hospital.

I don't know about the doctors or any kind of facility available. But the people sitting in the reception and receiving our calls are really really frustrating and incompetent for it. They first of all don't know how to talk. Give all kind of misinformation. They really harassed us all when we reached there and they said you have to do this and all but when we asked them over phone they said just come here and your work will be over in just a few hours and when we reached there they said it will take 2 days. Very disappointed with this service really. Hope the concerned authority could look into the matter and make necessary changes in the reception.

That's a private nursing home located in Howrah. Infrastructure are really good and well maintained thospital with various types of patients and Doctors. Staff's are good and the all doctor's are good and friendly. They had good amount of patience. And know very well how to deal with the issues. Hospital campus are very clean. They have a sufficient beds for patients and lots of facilities.

Hospital totally disappointed me, like my aappointment was 3.50 pm but 6.30 i met dr, no patient que, waiting time is more, prior appointment not help full, and reception people also no follow appointment timing,

Our few patients were admitted here. They recovered and returned to normal state of health, mind and strength. The charge is reasonable. It is well maintained and service is also good. There are 45 specialities. Beloved patients and their families please remember that they don't accept obstetrics and burn patients.

Dr. Rajesh Loonia/Urology is one of the most worst doctor. His behavior with patients is very rude. He does not listen patient problem and not seen/examine the test report carefully ,as the test/diagnosis cost is very expensive. As such, lot of patient expected from this Hospital to get genuine treatment and booked appointment for docotor at any cost. No doubt Narayana Superspeciality Hospital/Howrah is the best pvt. Hospital, and the treatment done here satisfactiory, but due to some doctor's behaviour the reputation of this Hospital having bad affect day to day. Resolve the problem is most essential.

My overall experience is average...some staffs are experienced but most of them are not aware of anything ...their approach towards the patient is very casual...we have call them repeatedly for any kind of service...need to improve their service part...

The hospital staff lacks structure. Everything looks very unorganised. Was supposed to be admitted in the hospital for an upcoming operation, for which I was called at 7am in the morning, it took almost an hour to get me to my bed. It did not end there, when I reached my bed the sheets hadn’t been changed after the previous patient, they were dirty and the uniform given also had stains on it. Requested the floor staff to get that changed and yes.. it took another hour just to get my bedsheet changed till then I was kept standing in the room and the lobby! Over 3 hours just to get to the bed! I wonder what an emergency patient has to go through.. And if I may add, the floors are quite dirty too, someone should have a look at the way the sweeper mopped the floor. I wonder how such a renowned hospital has such low standards! Highly disappointed!

Being a multi-speciality hospital there is so many good thing is clearly noticable, such as Out-patient service (OPD care) is appreciated, Receptionists are contact you over phone if any changes of doctors appointments and notify for other information. There is no separate urinal/toilet/lavatory for gents and ladies, it's quite disappointing.Hospital has facilities like waiting hall, cafeteria, lounge is to accommodate much patients and their family members. The main highlight is Doctors are very good, carefull, responsible and obviously one can get good treatment from here.

THIS CAUSES ALOT OF HARASSMENT AND NUMEROUS PEOPLE HAVE EXPRESSED THEIR PROBLEMS HAVING TO STAND IN LINE FOR AN INDEFFINATE PERIOD OF TIME. THE MANAGEMENT REFUSES TO HELP. TWO PERSONAL ARE NOT ENOUGH AT THE BILLING COUNTER FOR SUCH A LARGE OUT PATIENT DEPARTMENT. ONE FEELS LIKE CHANNELLING THE APPOINTMENT AND GOING TO SOME OTHER MEDICAL FACILITY. STANDING IN LINE IN WOODLANDS O.P.D. IS ITSELF A TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE. ABSOLUTELY THIRD CLASS.

Highly unprofessional, they charge so much but facility and cleanliness is not of proper standards. Nurses and staffs are highly uncooperative and arrogant, didn't answer the queries properly. Their insurance desk is also quiet irresponsible, I have submitted pre-approval 2 days back. On the day of treatment and after final billing is done, instead of sending the final bill for approval, They send the pre-approval and then after a few hours when the pre-approval comes, they again send the final bill for approval. This is height of irresponsibility, 5-6 hours of wait after the final billing. I don't know they are out of common sense or they do it intentionally

This hospital deserves 3rd class award in the world to their services. This is not a hospital it's a business place My brother has admitted in this hospital and the staff behaviour are very rudely. But doctor behaviour is satisfied. Narayana hired non train staff. They talk rudely to patients party.and also management was too bad. I saw the third class hospital in my life. I requested to the Indian government , Please take a punishible action to this type of corporate hospital.

Worst Cghs Empaneled Hospital. My father is a cghs pensioner patient. All pensioner card holders are entitled for cash less treatment. But Narayana never provide cashless treatment. Renowned hospitals like B.M Birla, Belle View, B.P Poddar etc provided us fully cashless facility as per the cghs rule. But Narayana doesn’t follow the rule. At the time of emergency I called them for admission of my father but they told they cannot admit cashless patient. If we can give cash they can take the admission otherwise not. Also at the time of OPD every other mentioned hospital is providing cashless facility but they charged us money. They are also taking phone from patients hand and giving 5 star ratings in google and WhatsApp. So never believe in their reviews. They have done the same with me but I edited my review later. After seeing all these we decided not to visit there ever.

Excellent doctors who are knowledgeable and treat patients with utmost attention but below par support staff. Expect delays (pretty long) to get a patient admitted because they always have an excuse that they don’t have enough beds. Also, patients are not adequately paid attention because one nurse is assigned multiple patients meaning the nurses are always running around instead of focusing on lesser number of patients. Expected much better from this facility.

One of the most worst hospital. Management is not proper. Staffs behavior is inappropriate with the patients as well as with the attender. The neatness is very less throughout the hospital. Water is thrown here and there. Careless staffs as well as the Management. Owner must look into the problems and try to take actions against it.

Narayana Super Speciality Howrah is one of the best hospital in North-Eastern India. Bangladesh citizens prefer to take their medical facilities here too.

Treatment, service, amenities are fine. Doctors treat patients with care.There are rooms for improvement for nurses.

Doctor and team is just too good.. But trust me horrible administration system just worst than anyone can think off. They take ample of time for answering any of your questions. No proper solutions are provided. And if you are thinking to get admitted please dont as the food provided by the hospital is just just so horrible that even cows will not feel like to eat those No proper maintenance of AC or Gyser is done.I was admitted for my c section for 4days and was starving as food was so less and a human can't eat that.so horrible.Discharge took 6hours of time. Billing counter was only one and with one person handling so many things.Narayana is just using the brand name and cheating people and charges are reaching the sky. Compare to service the charges are way way too high.

No doubt they have good doctors, but the official staff and their behavior is very rude.Specially the person in Packaging cell, shows ego, no manners to treat the patient, makes people wait for hours just to give estimate. His name is Sudipta Ghosh... management shall look strictly into the matter, the behaviour of admission and packing cell is ruining your image.

I had read an advertisement of Dr. Sarmila Chandra((Hemato-oncologist) EI SAMAY daily newspaper. I related to everything that she had said in the ad and as I aready am a patient of anaemia and have been diagnosed to be beta thalassemia trait patient, and am currently suffering from Hypersomnia I was intrigued by the advertisement.I Registered for appointment with Dr. Sarmila Chandra((Hemato-oncologist) on 3rd Nov 2020.and was alloted a slot at 13.00 hrs on 05/11/2020.(MRN 17650000149470). upon reaching the hospital I was informed that she is available on MONDAYS only and was referred to Dr. Ujjal Mani(Oncologist clinical). Upon further enquiry was informed that she rarely visits on Thursday (although I had received a reminder sms confirming appointment with Dr. Chandra! on the morning of 05/11/2020!) not satisfied with the service at all. Further the experience was worsened by the condition of the toilet. It has an Indian style lavetory with no hook for hanging belongings, and the door could not be locked from inside and has to be held onto continuously! I suffer from knee pain and came to know that the western style toilet was under lock and key! The toilet flush also does not work properly. another thing I was concerned about was that although we all were screened during entry, the Air Conditioner of the waiting area was not running sufficiently and the area was overcrowded. i could not pull down my mask and suffered from breathing problems as I also have High pressure condition.Overall experience was the worst. Does not deserve even a single star.

The worst hospital ever. Don't ever admit ur close ones or even enemies. They have zero humanity. All they know is how to usurp money, black mail indirectly..in a way that the patient's relatives are both forced and helpless to confirm to that. Never believe their staffs. They r running a business not a hospital. They give least attention to patient and even abuses. I lost my mother to them. Would surely like to take action against if any. The guy irfan manager cum middleman(works in narayana andul) is surely the worst of all. Please don't ever go there unless you have no othr option.

This hospital is providing latest technology based treatment to the cancer patients on affordable price. Doctors and staff members are supportive and caring. Low cost rooms and fooding facilities also available for attendant.

My sister was admitted for surgery. Excellent experience. From Doctor to Wardboy, Nurses - Everyone was very helpful. Hospital is also kept pretty clean.

It's a branch of NH group . Very good place for health check up and emergency . You should visit for any medical issues .

Very poor service.Whenever telephoned to the given number to enquire about my inpatient wife they cut the line without conversation.I did not get any news for more than 24 hrs who has gone through a major operation one day before . MRI report has not been prepared in 5 days.Many more to write.

Hospital service is very good. The campus is neat and clean. Behaviour of the staffs is very good and friendly, they have lots of patience. And it should be mentioned that miss Nila Bose helped me a lot to solve my doubts.

Narayana superspeciality Hospita Howrah is very good Hospital. There are very good arrangements to avoid Covid-19, like sanititizers, social distance maintains. Management peoples are very helpful. I had a walk in OPD consultation. The support staff was reluctant to tell me my serial number. I could have planned my work accordingly instead of waiting outside the doctor's chamber for 2 hours. Service of this hospital is excellent. All possible measures are being taken at the time of admition of a patient as well as consultation of a patient. The procedure of a new appointment of a consultant takes 2-3 minutes on online system. The friendly behavior of Doctors, Nurses and support staffs are praiseworthy. Cleanliness of the hospital is well managed. Reputed doctors are always extend all possible help to the patient.

I would like to award 5+ if possible. A hospital with such excellent facilities and such outstanding doctors, undertaking such challenging treatment, is very rare, at least in this part of our country. It is not only excellent but is also very affordable. There are no extra frills as in many 5star facilities but I must say that the wards are very clean and tidy with all necessary fittings. Unfortunately the hospital has not received it's due prominence. It definitely needs to make this general public aware of its facilities and doctors. The nursing, technical and other supporting staff are so caring and efficient. Only there seems to be a bit of lack of coordination in spite of their best efforts. Maybe the leadership needs to gear up in order to address this.

She was very knowledgeable and professional, and I felt confident in her ability to provide me with the best possible care. From Bangladesh, treated my son and wife for Neurological & Cardiac related issues. Both were in hospital as IPD patient. Arrangements for admission and Doctor's treatment plan and schedule was handled efficiently by the Service Excellence Team. The relevant Doctor of Neurology and Cardiology department were very helpful, shared the patient's condition and other details which kept the patient's relations at peace. I traveled from Bangladesh for my father and daughter's treatment. 1st day in that international help desk counter, they Lady assigned to that desk asked me to pay 40 Rupees for Passport photocopy. I asked her why I need to pay instead I can share soft copy. She said it’s not allowed and I need to pay her. Not sure if Hospital Management is aware about the charges. 1st day the shift supervisor in the morning ( lady with the eye glass without uniform ), office behind the receptionist/cash counter, was very supportive and helpful. She guided me to the 1st floor and requesting the counter in charge to handle my payment due to my time constraints( I paid by credit card). However, I am dissatisfied with their app system because when I asked them to print lab reports as none of their team members provided hard copies of lab reports, insisting to check the app. Many patients's relatives share their frustration about that process while I was talking to them. Additionally, one of my daughter's lab test results were delayed to deliver and upon visiting Dr. Bismoy Kumar, I was unexpectedly asked to charged an additional 800 fee for 2nd visits bcz he mentioned that he needs to prescribe the medication after seeing this report. Then my question is how did he prescribed medication previous day without seeing pending reports and he knew that the report was not ready when I visited his office. Though I explained him, he straight forward told me that please proceed with the payment first and then I will prescribe the medication, This behavior from the Doctor is unacceptable for a reputable hospital. Moreover, during my father's scheduled ultrasound, we waited nearly 3 hours despite the scheduling system in places. They have 2 Ultrasound rooms and one of the room was operating only.I believe they don’t have enough doctors. Then my questions why you take schedule if you know you don’t have enough manpower. Morethen 15 patients we’re waiting and all of them were Diabetic patients. they are allowed to eat after the test only. While we were waiting we went to eat on the 1st floor The cafeteria called 'Mitti,' it was really unhygienic, with a death fly in one of the food displays( pictures posted) When I reported this to the in-charge, he removed the fly from that food with an open hand without gloves and displayed the food again in that counter. I have more feedback to share and would appreciate someone can a response.

I visited first time in the hospital.Token system for billing is very good. This system is very effective specifically for senior citizens. Billing work is carried out in well disciplined manner. Before COVID19 situation the OPD management was bad. But now as experiencing since June 14, 2020, at emergency, OPD, and other departments the service and customer care is fabulous. Many departments have the same staffs as before, yet acting in more efficient , helpful and amicable manner.

Worst management system. Not professional at all. I had worst experience admitting my father, a cardiac patient.(had angiography & angioplasty in this hospital) Everything is delayed. Had to roam around from one counter to another for simple task. #I have no complain regarding treatment. I am satisfied with that. But this is my last time visiting this place. Not so crowdy, may be due to COVID effect or economy downturn, clean and well managed, it has reputation amongst solvent people, bit of its cost a higher side of normality in fees charged for various reasons notwithstanding. Treatment charges may be lessened if pathological/radiological tests are carried out at clinics outside.

I had the most smooth experience at Woodlands. My doctor is a gentleman and has the most skilled hands I believe. For any laparoscopic surgery, please go with Dr. Anklesaria. He is the best person to go to. No unnecessary expenses I had to bear. Moreover, i was little scared as I had to be under the knife for the first time and that too during the pandemic. My safety and proper sanitization was taken care of every moment. The attendants and other staff are very polite and helpful.

All amenities are good but low staffs and Mediclaim department is so embarrassing. They wrongly upload documents and delay the patient discharge. I think Woodlands needs this to upgrade..

The OPD doctors are really good here and the process of getting appointment is also hassle-free. Once I was unable to get doctors appointment for my Grand Father on an urgent basis but a good lady from reception named Silpi Das helped me a lot from getting an appointment to payment. She was very detailed while explaining the process and also she took us to the nurses in OPD.

Doctors and nurses are good.. but people in insurance claim dept are horrible. Very bad and rude behavior and they think patient's relatives have unlimited time to cater to their stupid queries and paperwork. Its like some babu in some government office harassing citizens who came to avail service. I have a cashless health card for my mother which is accepted all over India.. these guys created hell lot nuisance and asked all sorts of unnecessary documents. Finally I had to call upon the doctor and after his intervention those 2 rude person (one guy and a girl) mellowed down. During my visits I realized how they harass innonent people coming from villages in search of better medical facility. I went to this Hospital for my daughter's check up and they did excellent things to her. Various tests were done in OPD and doctor consultation was very smooth. Children's play ground is there and our daughter loves this. Hospital reception is large and well ventilated. Cleaned restaurant and cafeteria is also there. Very complex surgeries like Robotic surgery, transplant surgery, all types of cardiac surgery (both Paediatric and Adult) are being done herein regular basis. Recently a successful heart transplant surgery was carried out in this Hospital 🏥.

The doctors and the service was good but I had to wait for 2 hours in the waiting for an injection inspite of paying the booking money in advance. The sisters and attendants were too negligent. This is one thing that needs attention.

The patient enrollment process is very slow and lengthy. Some of the enrolled operater behaves roothly. The canteen authorities do not feed the patients on time who are sent by the government of other states for free treatment and the food is not given well and behaves roothly. Worst experience. They are similar to govt hospital in terms of waiting and cleanliness but charges hefty amount of money even when we just want to visit to show the reports. I visited there according to the doctor's suggestion and timeline but still they charged me consultation charges not sure why.

Everything is ok but what about paperless venture on billing and reports on investigations, purchase of medicines as well. This leaves an bitter experience to collect them from other places which are loaded of business policies. A scrape of paper may do good than to collecting outdoors.
