I have been to this place a number of times. But the last two visits in the last two weeks have been the worst. You must understand, that this is a franchisee using the Apollo name and brand. The non professional manner in which it is run, is a far far representation of any professionalism and as subsequent exp-eriences showcase, demonstrates and leaves one with the feeling of having been through a scam with minimal trained staff, staff and doctors hard selling for tests, staff collecting blood not knowing how many vials for which tests, doctor looking at a patient and writing tests and tests and tests and tests. Firstly, The doctors here are taking advantage of a lot of non-medical, non professional and non understanding visitors and giving them random expensive tests for even the most mundane of needs. There is no doubt in my mind that these doctors are hand in glove with the franchisee and 10%-15% of the Test fees goes to the doctors. The doctors will never tell you that so you must be very aware and ask a few times the reason for each and every test. Secondly, the staff here and the systems do not keep a backup record of your data for you to be able to cross verify that the tests that you ordered are the results that you received. As an example, when I took my tests back to the doctor, he asked me why all the tests were not done. The staff will refuse to check the tests and the records and validate clearly that all tests were done. Even whey they try to validate, they are clearly not knowledgable and the doctors test and the output details often does not match. The abbreviated reports of the tests and lack of correlation between Bill and the Test Output name helps their cause greatly and the scam proliferates - as you have to pay in advance regardless of whether you get the test results or not. Thirdly, the Doctors here ( at least the Doctor I saw Dr. Abhijit Sarkar, a so called specialist) left me with a really bad taste and I found him to be quite unprofessional and he will not bother to explain the problem you have though he will charge you a bomb for his time. I do not recommend anyone to visit him. Your time is better spent with a GP than with a specialist like him. He is counting seconds from the moment you enter the room and he will just write tests galore. He did not give any confidence to me about his treatments. The check and balance system is missing in this franchisee centre and any high quality seeking patient is going to be terribly disappointed. Overall, though I was many years ago happy that clinic opened in Bansdroni, I find it to be a blot and really an unfortunate, overcharging, in-efficient and corrupt facility.

Have been visiting here for several years and quality of service has degraded to a completely unacceptable level. No respect for people's time. The staff behave in such a way (not limited to one or two, most of them show same attitude) as if they are doing a big favor the patients. No respect or empathy for elderly patients.

They'll give you multiple tests to check if you're sick or not and if you have'nt completed 1 out of 10 tests their doctors won't even talk to you and won't tell you what problems you are having.

Bunch of two-bit thugs out to scam you and take your money in exchange for subpar services. The doctors advise you to do medical tests which are not at all required and half of the time even cancel their appointments.

Very good behaviour of the staff members. I came for a corporate check up. Probably as it was Sunday some doctors arrived late so the process started late and so some dissatisfaction among patients. So to some extent the staff members were facing tough situation to face the patients as they have nothing to do. Hope on weekdays the situation is not such. Last but not the least the toilet should be cleaned at intervals .

Bakwas... Plz suggest some othr good doc nearby. They hav open to extract money frm helpless ppl. Doctors r available on monday n tuesday n saturday.I went fr my son s chkup on Tuesday....fee of dermatologist is 1200.... blood report ws handed frm apollo itself, on Wednesday..when i went wit blood report on Saturday. They said i wil b charge again 1200 again.. Its better i spend money on fruits n coconut water rather than wasting my hard earn money on apollo.. 😞

The most important thing to note while visiting a diagnostic centre is the accuracy of the test results and Apollo Clinic is reliable in this aspect. Next is the availability of specialized doctors and this clinic has lots of renowned doctors to consult. No wonder that people from far off places like Garia, Baghajatin and Kudghat visit Apollo Bansdroni on a regular basis. Since this place remains overcrowded most of the time, do not expect the reception staff to be polite. However, the only thing you do need to avoid is the Dental section.

Came here for a health check up. Absolute 5 star service. All the tests were perfectly coordinated with the minimum waiting time. Staff are extremely well behaved and polite. Facilities are also well maintained.

Worst stuff specifically Nurses. I have visited yesterday. The behavior of them are just disgusting. They act like the place is like a free govt Healthcare or Office of ration dealers. We visited the place for our Regular Dr. With our 2 months old baby.They misbehave with my wife. It's there very good luck that I have lack of time.Ok let's see Next time ,If I have to visit in some emergency schedule for our Dr.NB: Think b4 visit.

Only one number provided in such a popular place. They can’t even hire a additional staff to attend the calls. You always get a busy tone when you contact them on the number provided. Arrogant staffs.

Very bad experience that my father was visited to the bansdroni branch to test sugar (fasting &pp). Result comes out that 499 & 719, whereas I checked another lab, their results is 371 & 589... I am very much disappointed to this type of service.. 719 sugar (pp) is not a joke...

If there was an option to rate below 1 star, this centre deserves that. 1. They overcharged me irrationally compared to other Apollo centres. For CBC, KFT, LFT and Thyroid profile, they mentioned there is no package below Rs. 5000. When I checked from my Apollo App online, I found that they have a package of Rs. 1500 which covers above tests and few additional tests as well. They made me pay 3635 for the above tests. 2. For KFT, they added individual tests like Urea, Creatinine, Uric acid with an intention to overcharge me. 3. When I mentioned, I am a member of Apollo and I am generally offered discounts, they refused saying they cannot give any discounts. 4. When I requested them to send reports through mail, they said they cannot send reports through email. 5. When I sent a representative to collect the report, they made him wait for an hour and still were not able to hand over the reports. 6. When I raised grievance through email, it was closed without any response. This is the worst customer service experience not befitting Apollo brand. Senior Management at Apollo must take cognizance of these so that these employees at Apollo Bansdroni do not spoil a brand built over so many years. Thanks

I went there to do an x-ray for my wisdom tooth. No hassle. It would have been better if they gave xray within half an hour instead of next day.They told me they could provide some kind of picture of xray. I wasn't in any hurry. The process overall was smooth.

The most trusted name under one roof for good doctors and pathology tests. I suggest to visit the clinic on weekdays to get the best of service. On weekends due to huge demand, sometimes there may be a delay of service. But I love the human touch they show while handling senior citizen patients. I have been their client for more than 8years and totally satisfied when I visit them on weekdays. However some renovation is required at their washroom.

My mother went for a skin rash to a doctor here, who is apparently also a “professor”. That doctor made my mother to visit him over three months and on the process increase the rash to an infection. Finally, she saw another doctor near south city , who finally healed her. I strongly recommend not to see this dermatologist, who just cares about extracting your hard earned money

Worst time management of staff, they will call you 3 hr.before and while calling they will force you not to late by even 5 minutes otherwise your appointment will be missed.

Today I have visited the clinic for doing USG( whole abdomen). The procedure was totally incorrect. They don't follow the proper medical protocol for testing USG. The doctor was in a hurry. He was not paying attention to the test. I have done USG before also from different diagnostic centre. Here in Apollo, the experience was horrible. I will recommend not to visit this clinic for USG.

My husband had an appointment with dr Romeet Mukherjee orthopaedic for 7pm today.The doctor himself had spoken to my husband and given this time.my husband reached before time.. deposited the fees and kept waiting for almost an hour and then he was told that the doctor will not see him as his name is not in the system...such unprofessional behaviour and no value for people's time.sad!..I have been reading the reviews for this hospital..not a single good word.. everyone is complaining..wish I had the better sense to read these reviews earlier..would have not wasted so much time and energy!

i've been having bouts of fever and severe headaches for the last 5-6 days and i went there to see a General Practitioner on Friday Aug 20, 2021. They took me to Dr. S K Bhattacharya who charged me Rs 800 for consultation. i told him i've already been tested for malaria and also a comprehensive blood test (i dont know how much got to him because he has hearing problem). so he checked my breathing and thats it. wrote tests for Rs 6000 and asked me to drink lot of water. ha ha.. thats the only thing he could come up with... like seriously man!! then the receptionist said that the test reports will come on Saturday but ill have to wait till next monday to see the same doctor because he visits only on monday, wed and fri. and i wish to get my reports looked at by some other dotor i need to pay him another Rs 800. What kind of loot is going on over here. anyway, long story short, dont go there!

The unprofessional and annoying behaviour of the receptionists is the cause why this particular branch is not recommended. I was here for almost one hour and enlisted my name at the very first, but couldn't find my name at the sister's list of patients after one hour! The receptionists are Now saying they could take almost one hour to just update my name!! That too when it's not at all crowded! There were like just 10 patients!! They just do not want to take the blame, they continue arguing as if it's normal. Completely irritating behaviour for such a prestigious hospital.

Worst clinic calls dont get answered ..they just gives wrong answers...very bad experience....will advice dnt go to this clinic....they only care about the money and nothing else...

Went to Dr samik basu for my child's check up. Dr recommended few tests. After 5 days we went back to doctor with my child's diagnosis report. The receptionist is again demanding for INR 700/- as a consultantation fee just to look at the report. This is highly unethical and the entire management along with doctors are just for making money. Even doctor will not give enough time. It's better to go to some other place. Even the rates for all the diagnosis are higher as compared to other diagnosis centre and machines are old here.

staffs are very bad, they are rude and harsh towards their customer/ patient. due to location footfall is high, worthless people sitting in reception.

Horrible customer service, they don't even care to pick up the call when I need an appointment. So disappointing. Also the doctors charges are comparitively higher than others .

The reception staff are extremely irresponsible. They never pick up the phone even after calling like 20 times. If and when they do, they later refuse to have any recollection of it, i.e. the appointment in name is not there or the time they said was not right. When confronted, they blatantly disagree and further continue to argue.

On 22nd June 2021 I went for Preoperative investigations and when I got the reports I found that they had changed the name of the Doctor. Such callous work they are doing When I went back to point out their mistake, there was no regret. Instead I had to write an application for correction. When I again went to collect my corrected report, I came back and found that they had given me incomplete reports. They are so irresponsible. I caution people to think twice before visiting them.

Poor manage ment and harassment to senior citizens . Staff is not clear in talks . The lady who is in the blood test unit is very rude . My mom in law wasn’t told to write name on culture bottle so this lady stood on her head n harassed her . Absolutely not acceptable behaviour.

This clinic is one of the best clinic in South Kolkata and what makes this amazing is hard working employees like Moumita based upon the interaction I had with her , it shows how well trained she is so polite humble and caring towards customer which really hard to find these days . The clinic is equipped with all the modern diagnostics equipment and good doctors. Thanks to Moumita for all the she gave during my xray which my dentist recommended.

Reviews posted before me are so divergent here, even many times diagonally just opposite!I shall try to remain true with personal views ,but unbiased Pros first 1.Being a local resident,I have been visiting it since last 15 years both for diagonistic tests & seeing individual doctors for medical treatment(me/family). Admittedly ,my habit in not choosing other similar clinics elsewhere formed primarily due to its shortest distance from home.But there ARE solid reasons behind my repeated visits : reliability of tests & availability of specialist doctors. Till now, I have had no reason to question the diagonistic test results. Other than famous and capable specialists ,some not -so-famous doctors also attend patients here : regarding doctors' behaviour(both kinds)- there is no big difference from doctors' average behaviour in other big establishments in Kolkata--believe me ,I do have sufficient experience to vouch for that. 2 Receptionist ladies are generally courteous and cooperative ,I even found them proactive on my recent visit for tests two days back , when they found I was facing extra delay.Uniformed nurses (qualified ? -I am not sure about that) and other female attendants are attentive to patients in general. Technical staff (for sample collection/Xray etc) are able and courteous ,so are report delivery people. 3.The premises is small but kept clean in general, floors are being swabbed very regularly. Cons 1.Receptionists attend outside phone sometimes in unprofessional way,are rarely prompt in answering.Billing is also not done in a prompt efficient manner.Probably the basic problem lie with huge,recurring rush hours and availability of only few such attendants who are working long hours with small recesses . 2a. The rush is heavy from opening hour ,but space at first floor is limited (lift is available). Main waiting area for patients adjoining reception has comfortable metal seats ,but accomodation is low ,not more than 25.Some other waiting arrangements are spreadout in alleys outside doctors chambers (or labs) but these are few & with only insufficient leg room. 2b. Report collection centre on ground floor along with only one/two doctors chamber/s is crowdy at rush hours. 3 .Though other spaces are clean in general, the toilet is not very clean.On my last visit 2days back ,on pressing no water came out of cistern. 4. There exists some lack of coordination between reception and doctors' appointment times.Despite receptionists' sincere efforts,last time I have to visit thrice for a particular test (among many other tests, all the rest are completed in time). Perhaps the blame goes to doctors also - the general atmosphere hanging in clinic is "patients, please remain patient, delay is expected",so to say !Positive steps from all concerned is expected definitely. Overall a good health clinic, where people feel comfortable to revisit,if need arises .

Extremely unorganised. Staff doesn’t cooperate. No matter when you take appointment, you have to wait 2-3 hours. The blood test charges are off the roof. I have tried to register complaint over mails but they don’t reply. Please avoid doing any blood tests or any tests here

My parents have been visiting Apollo clinic Bansdroni for many years now.Recently I did my whole body health check up and am sharing my experience.The staff are very professional with a unique human touch in all their interactions and behaviour.Special mention to a young lady Tura Das,she would make sure that every patient gets the required attention and irrespective of huge rush during morning hours she would patiently handle the cases she is in charge of.Would highly recommend this clinic if you are looking for humane and best in class treatment.

Extremely unprofessional and rude staff ! My appointment with Dr. Atanu Biswas (Neurologist) was delayed from No.3 to No.8 , on reaching the clinic . On asking the staffs the reason for the same...they were unusually impolite and could gave no reason for the act ! Indeed a money collecting centre rather than a health centre , this clinic is !

Terrible reception service, the staff speaks in loud voice for everyone in the waiting room know what you came to do. No discretion at all. Definitely any other clinic has better attitude. Never cometo this place again!

Staff behaviour is horrible everytime. They treat patients and their families so badly and do not even have the patience to answer to queries.

Perennially understaffed, sample collectors often refuse to come even after making bookings - making senior citizens like my father wait endlessly and make repeated visits. This clinic simply thrives due to absence competition from any other clinic/lab in the surrounding areas.

Extremely rude staff especially the receptionists and they make you feel as if they are doing everything for free of cost.Horrible management.They do not stick to time and expect you to be patient and calm.Pathetic and poor billing service too.

The services are very good here. We never faced any harassment while showing the doctors or waiting for them. The doctors associated at the clinic are excellent and give very good treatment.

Unprofessional and careless. Takes lots of money , but when it comes to service they provides seldom. They do not provide online report. They say they will inform you in 10 mins but then forget to call. If reminded they again say 10 mins and then again forget to call. Horrible 😌😌

Apollo Clinic doesn't deliver complete and proper report and they didn't give you report in a particular date. They used to harassed their patients a lot just for delivering a report. Please avoid this clinic if you are going to do a important and critical test. They are very much irresponsible and used to neglect patients issues.

All including clinics, staffs' behaviour are excellent. If the floor space would have been bigger, then it would get full score according to my perception.

My overall experience of Annual Healh Check up has been Great! I got proper guidance through the process with minimum waiting time. The staff is friendly and facilities are well organised.

It is a combo clinic having its own dedicated labs, diagnostic centre, Apollo Pharmacy (just below the clinic), and the connectivity is also very easier! Highly recommended.👌

The Management don't even bother to help elderly people to get medicine or medical requirements if required by doctor immediately. If elderly people are not with their family members they will not help them. They straight away say get the required stuffs by own as we don't have the facility to do so. Very undesirable experience by my parents. And I think they charge a whole lot of amount as doctor's fees which for sure includes there operations managing charges. So sorry to say very bad experience.

We have been attending this clinic as a family since its inception, and have always received very good service. The staff are polite, patient and efficient and the team of doctors is very good. We are highly satisfied with Apollo Clinic.
