Treatment is well...but overall my experience is pathetic. The nursing staffs are not coordinated with each other, each one provides different statements regarding the patient. TPA desk is a horrible place, they keep laughing and chatting with each other, making delay in sending claim approval. No cafeteria or food court for patient party, unhygienic washroom, no parking....moreover the security guards are denying to assist with wheelchair for the patient. Doctors are very nice and helpful, but overall management is worst more than nothing.

My father got heart attack, and we took him ILS Saltlake. His symptoms was not a traditional symptom. He had right hand pain along with abdominal pain . we went to emergency, they given him anti-acid tablet . They did not done ECG. We insisted but emmergency staff was very rude. After multiple request, they donee ECG, but unfortunately emmergency staff did not know how to read ECG. Even though they are not heart hospital, they took admission and keep my father in isolation room for covid test (which was not possible on sunday) We admitted my father around 2 PM and 5.30 PM I had talked with doctor, & he told, it seems heart problem, we should take him to heart hospital. I was really socked, why they took admission if he had heart attack and why they did not inform us earlier. My father was suffering with pain and it was risk to his life. Finally i discharge him and paid around Rs. 20,000 for nothing and took my father to Apollo Hospital. Apollo doctor socked that he had major heart attack and it was neglected to badly. I strongly suggest never ever take your family members to emergency ward.

It's the worst hospital I have ever gone to. basically here doctors, staff will do everything to gain more money from their patients. They don't care how much problem patient is facing, doctors will always find out a way to extract money from you. I was in that hospital for my mother's operation, after operation she didn't feel better and day by day her pain was increasing. We have again consulted the doctor but no hope. Doctor/staffs will take your entire day for 1/2 tests. I just want to say use your money to find better hospitals not like these.

They've squeezed in the maximum possible in the small spaces available, so everything is a little cramped. The staff were polite and helpful. Had gone for OPD consultation only, so don't know of their inhouse facilities, also if their documentation process has improved. 2.5 years ago had a not so great experience for insurance claim with them.

Its been close to a year I have undergone Bariatric surgery at ILS, Salt Lake, Kolkata, India. I have lost close to 30 kgs since then. There was a time I was not getting any result out of Gym, Yoga, Weight Reduction Procedures, Dieting or Running. Every month I was gaining weight and I could not understand the reason why. My stay at this lasted for 3 days and 2 nights. It was a very decent experience. The nursing staff and the doctors were all super kind and considerate. The quality of service and food was commendable.

My wife admitted in the hospital on 12 th May 2022 at 4 p.m.We had health insurance. I submitted insurance documents before admission. But hospital sent insurance documents on 14th May 2022 at about 1 p.m. My wife's release date was 14 th May 2022 at 4 p.m.I repeatedly told the person in charge of insurance of the hospital to send the documents to insurance company from the date of admission. But they did not care .As a result it was informed denial of cashless at about 10 p.m.It is a part of mismanagement of the hospital as a result we harassed. It seems that there's no coordination between doctors and staffs of the hospital.

Not suitable for insurance claim. In my experience AMRI, Rubi, Fortis are better for patients having insurance as now a days treatment in hospitals has become a very expensive affair. Service is average.

ILS Hospital got many awards for weight-loss operations and after availing the same, I came to know why. This indeed is one of the best hospitals I have been to. The premises are clean and hygenic. The doctor and nurses are very helpful too.

I am satisfied with ILS for treatment as well as management also. On 21 Aug 21, I took my mother in emergency. Subsequently she was admitted for four days under Dr. Debjit Ghosh. She is very much pleased with Doctor and attending Nurses. Doctor also called two days stating her health status. Whenever needed Nurses provided support to my mother with smiling face. Despite having a cashless mediclaim, I was charged Rs 14,000 more as investigation charge.When my wife discharged then they told me it can be reimbursement, Although he did not give me any original paper then. It means they tookoney from mediclem as wel as from my pocket. I take a package treatment for appendicitis. of Rs 72,000/-. Also they are not provide foctor fees as per requirements. I never suggested this hospital. They not tell it before when admitted. After the discharge they claim Wrong.

One of the best branch of ILS in Kolkata. This branch is highly recommend by me, because of their service and goodwill to their patients. One of the best doctor panel is provided by them in each and every department. Apart from this their diagnosis is so authentic , one can must rely on them as they don't do any unnecessary delay in providing the report to the families of patient. Moreover all the front and back office staffs are so humble and they treat their patient with care and responsibilities. Also in pandemic they follow all the guidelines of WHO properly. The female staffs at 4th floor is not at all cooperative. They just love to chit chat and make fun of the patient if patients are asking for any help. They are least bothered to take care if i need to get up from bed or get down to bed again. Any time i ask for help thy arrive 20 mins late. Not polite, as if i am making them done my household work. Thy are just making groups and whole day chit chatting. As a care taker they should be beside me whenever needed, but they are not. I also heard them saying tht they are fed up of me as i am calling them several time for help.

This hospital is situated near City Centre 1. There is no specific parking area from the hospital. But cars are generally parked by the road side. Its safe because during our hospitalization, we have kept our car parked at the road for continuous 3days and also thr hospital security guards keep an eye on it if asked. Hospital is clean, staffs are courteous and helpful. During this covid situation, entry of visitors are strictly prohibited. So there is no visiting hours. Only in pregnancy cases, they allow 1 family member to stay at the hospital along with patient in cabin room only. Meals for the member will be provided by hospital and chargeable. Nurses are very helpful and always attentive. Foods are all veg but good tastewise. The hospital does not charge unnecessary high bills, unless prescribed doctor raises the bill by changing duration of stay, medical tests, medicines, etc. Hospital is under PPN network.

Maternity Ward is amazing, very good behaviour, very good food and most importantly care unit nurses are very good.

Very bad staff and their relationship with patients and their families. The food is also plain without any flavours and the quantity is inadequate. They will harrass the patient's family before discharge by keeping them waiting and say that that have not yet received it. Even if the bill is in the receptionist's desk, they will keep you waiting till late hours. At last they will say patient will be discharged next day and the family will have to come again the next day.

It has 8 major Operating Theatres covering all major surgical domains. Intensive care units with 29 beds across various ICUs & HDU, Advanced imaging facilities like 64 slice CT & 1.5 Tesla MRI, A well equipped triage and Pathology all under one roof. The Hospital building complies with all statutory norms including fire safety & bio-medical waste management. The Hospital was constructed with an investment of Rs. 600 million. Internationally reputed STUP Consultants Private Limited, were project consultant for the project.

I am writing this review sitting at the waiting area of the hospital. If there was any way of rating 0 I would have done that. Absolutely rubbish nursing home. First my mother got admitted yesterday her for her surgery scheduled today. We opted for a twin sharing cabin with costs rs 4500/day bed charge( higher than Bellevue) . But to our surprise the room was too small and suffocating. No windows, nothings just 4 walls around. To top it there was construction going on the above floor hence too noisy, irritating and disturbing for the patient. We went down and asked for room change but nobody had any idea. Now day 2 OT was scheduled at 4pm, they took the patient to the OT area at 4:40pm.we were still okay with the delay. We were told we will let us know once the OT starts. At 5.20pm almost an hour later we were told due nonavailability of OT my mother's surgery will be delayed by an hour. How the hell can a planned hospitalization not get a OT in time that too after preparing the patient. It's 6:30pm now and they have kept the patient waiting at the OT lobby with no idea when the surgery will start. To add to the above there was absolute chaos in the OT lobby with minimum 50 ppl for one patient enjoying themselves on the stairs blocking the way for others, shouting, laughing loudly,eating as if its a picnic and no body was telling them anything reason they gave some fat notes to the darwan. This is just unacceptable in a hospital. Day 3 we opted and they gave estimate as per twin sharing. After OT (please note a serious surgery) they decided to move her to gen ward since they have conveniently given her twin sharing bed to other patient. I am still wondering how the hell they are running this way?? !! I will write to corporate to blacklist this hospital.

One Word review. PATHETIC. I work at MNC IT Sector. I had a surgery in month of Nov 2019 at ILS hospital,Saltlake came across the experience of bad nursing service ( never arrived within 10 mins when I needed them urgently). Huge communication gap from admission desk . They provided us one fee structure on time of admission, next day rule had changed with new upgraded fees.

I would highly recommend Dr Om Tantia but certainly not the hospital. Had my mom’s surgery here under Dr Tantia, the surgery and procedures were excellent resulting in quick and seem less recovery. The loss of 3 stars is due to the arrogant and lackadaisical behaviour of staff. Their work is no doubt good, but the chip on their shoulder is frustrating. Nobody responds when patient rings the bell, god knows how they handle emergencies. You can’t ask them any question, as either they’ll choose to seal their lips, or answer with such frustration as though asking question was a crime. It was a distressful experience dealing with majority of the staff there. I was told in the OT that Mom will be sent to the room in 15 minutes after keeping under observation, but for more than an hour I heard nothing from them, obviously I freaked out. On inquiring with the nurses, they had the audacity to just make a grumpy face and not call and inquire until I put my foot down. She finally was sent to room after 2 hours post several follow ups by me. I understand if you are keeping patient under observation, the least I am expecting is to open your mouth and keep the family members informed. I didn’t intend to blurt out the negativity until now when the follow up visit was an even worse experience. Dr Anshuman had some attitude, as he didn’t seem pleased to answer any of the post surgery clarification we were seeking. He instructed clearly, but on raising a doubt, his response would be “did I say you can’t do this”? I am thankful to them for doing a fine job with the surgery but I would certainly not recommend the hospital purely due to the attitude of staff who seem so frustrated and you just cannot ask them anything. I suggest have more elaborate sign boards and put everything in writing all around, as clearly you have serious communication issues. A little bit assurance and warmth will harm no one.

Just returning from Belle Vue clinic. First we went to ILS Hospital, Salt Lake, Kolkata. The bloody lady doctor in emergency ward said that my nephew has chest infection but it was not. On instruction of Great Doctor DR L L Mall, I admitted my nephew in Belle vue. Doctor came nd ordered saline. Dr said he will be ok in 2 days. No medicine no test needed. Dr Goyal in ILS hospital is highly corrupt. Never assign your kid under him

Hopeless experience. Had my first cesarean operation here .the operation was done right by the concerned doctor although. But my newborn baby suffered hopelessly due to the pediatricians inexperience. My daughter was diagnosed with problems she never had and thereby was given innumerable tests .my 5day old baby had to go through such painless tests and saline due to doctors negligence. Thankfully got my daughter transferred to another hospital and could safely return back my baby .

Recently availed hysterectomy at ILS through laparoscopic surgery. It was painless and I was discharged within a few days. It is a much better option than getting yourself sliced up through open surgery.

I was having a high risk pregnancy and 2 previous miscarriages made me very frightened for this one as well. Thankfully, I came in the care of it's hospital, who ensure I can carry a safe pregnancy. Though my pregnancy had some minor issue, everything was fine at the end.

My doctor suggested me this hospital for my gall bladder operation. At first , I was hesitant after hearing the cost from the others, but then I changed my mind totally when I visited the hospital and had gall bladder surgery from ILS salt lake . Now I am living a healthy and happy life.

If you ask me in one line then I'll say ILS Saltlake branch is a group of Cheater Doctors they know how to extract maximum money from you, without giving that quality treatment to you. Let me explain how... As you all know that Dr. Omm Tantia is an experienced and renown doctor in ILS. Therefore when I went there then I've asked for his appointment. Then they told me that he is out of station now and you can consult with Dr. Tomanos Chaoudhury one of Dr. Omm Tantia's teams doctor. Then I hesitate to proceed. Then immediately they told me that you can consult with Dr. Tomanos, but Omm Tantial will do your operation. Then I proceed further as they suggested and consult with Dr. Tomanus and after seeing all the reports and check-up, he asked for so-many tests and said do it immediately from here. At the same time he told me that I know all are fine but due to procedure we have to do all these test. Later, on the same day I came to know that Dr. Omm Tantia was not out of station and he was engaged in counselling the Bariatric Surgery clients. Anyway, I didn't take it seriously. I asked when Dr. Omm Tantia will be available then they told me that he will be available after two days. Then I went to ILS once again to consult with Dr. Omm Tantia and informed that I want to consult with Dr. Omm Tantia prior to Gallbladder Stone removal operation. One of her assistant told me that no he checks serious patients only, spontaneously I also replied that, okay I'll also not do the operation from here. Then they accepted my papers and asked to wait. After some time they called me and immediately when I entered they Dr. told me that, I'll do the operation don't worry. Then I confirmed his availability for operation and deposited the advance money for OT. At morning prior to admission they (One person from ILS) call me and informed that Dr. Omm Tantia is not available today and if you want to do then Dr. Tomanus Chaudhury will do the operation. Then I denied and asked for next availability slot of Dr. Tantia. Then they confirmed me next day after that day. Then I took admission on next day evening as per their plan, so that operation will be happening next day at 1: 00 p.m. When they took me inside the OT, then there I didn't see Dr. Tantia and I found Dr. Tamanous and he informed me that we are a team and Dr. Tantia will be joining very soon after that I lost my sense and I don't know anything. I came to know from my family member's that even after Surgery, Dr. Tamanous meet with them and shown the stone. Then, you can guess what was happened inside the OT. When I got my sense, then there were some complicates due to the gas they have used prior to surgery and they told me that it's normal syndromes after surgery and next day they have given me the discharge. Prior to discharge, Dr. Tamanus visited and he has sign on Discharge report. By that time I don't have no doubt that Dr. Tantia didn't do the surgery and they have cheated me, but I don't have any proof on that. After 10 day's I went for regular check-up and another Physician do the check-up and suggested some medicines to continue and suggested some restriction for oily/deep fried foods. After few day's I observed there are some swelling and pain as well. Then I call at ILS and they give the appointment of Dr. Tamanous. As per appointment date, I went there but came to know that Dr. Tamanus is not there today, Dr. Shashi will be there instead of Dr. Tamanus. She is a junior doctor and they have asked the consultation charge as 1000 rupees. Then I've told them that after surgery , due to complicates I want show for that also they are charging. This should be complimentary. Also another thing just before operation their consultation charge was 600 rupees and all of a sudden they have increased the charge to 1000. I really got disappointed and come out of ILS without showing any doctor. I consult some other doctor from different Clinic and complete my check-up and do the treatment over there.

This is a very good hospital. All doctors & nurses nature is very polite & good. My mother Ranjana Pramanik's bariartic surgery & Marina successfully done by Dr. Om Tantia & his Wife. My mother's Next operation is very soon in this hospital.... Uterus tumor & piles. I hope next two operations are successfully done as good as the first operation. Today my mother going to Kolkata for her physical check up.(Dr.Om Tantia) With regards : Her son Somnath Pramanik.
