Edited on 12-April-2022: My mom underwent Right TKR on 8th April under Dr. Rakesh Rajput and was hospitalised for 5 days. Today, she is being released in a perfectly stable condition with limited mobility with support. It was a major operation and Dr.Rajput was at his very best as always. I can't thank him enough but its all gratitude. These 5 days was ofcourse challenging for all of us and I must thank all the Nursing and Ward staff who have been taking care of my mother as per shifts. Without their tireless efforts, it wouldn't have been possible for my mother to recover so soon. A special mention here is mandatory for Sister Bidisha Banerjee. She was prompt and perfect in her duties all the time. Infact she took care of my mother personally as her daughter. The patient-doctor relationship may have become very formal overtime but this patient-nurse relationship has always been a personal one with a touch of humanity. I thank Ms.Bidisha Banerjee once again for her exemplary service towards my mother. I will always remember how she interacted with my mother and made her feel at home. I wish you a great & successful career ahead. More power to you! Coming to the TPA Department. I was surprised to receive pre-authorization in 1 hour and complete bill settlement in 11 minutes. Ofcourse the insurance company has been fast, but I am sure you guys provided the perfect documentation on time which made it possible. Great job by the team. Recommendations for Hospital Management: The calling bell feature in the executive wards need your immediate attention. There seems to be electrical faults which triggers the bells to auto-cut off sometimes before the sister is able to notice it.

CMRI is one of the top-rated multi-speciality hospitals in Kolkata. I stayed in this hospital for 2 days, pertaining to my mother's surgery. Here are some of the pros and cons that I had observed during the stay. Pros:- 1) Cleanliness & hygeine are adequately maintained. 2) Lots of beds are available. 3) Experienced & reliable surgeons are available. 4) Deluxe rooms are decent, if not the best. 5) Nurses are available on call 24/7. 6) Food quality is admirable. 7) Cashless/insurance facility is available. Cons:- 1) Inside the surgery room the temperature was too cold. The patient requested to kindly increase the temperature, but it was not done. 2) Cost of operation is on the higher side. 3) Number of elevators should be increased. Wishing everyone good health! 😊

I have been admitted in executive ward for lapcoli OT under Dr Ajay Mondal, overall experience during stay was excellent. Staffs are very professional and Hygiene was optimum. Not to forget very well behaved nurse and brother. Highly recommended medical facility to achieve under favorable package.

The front desk members are very much unprofessional. In OPD first floor, we faced lots of problems because of a front desk girl. She was very much rude and was giving misinformation. Opposite of neuro section. The right door desk before the 1st floor front desk, there was an middle aged lady whose behavior was like just unimaginable rude and totally unprofessional. She doesn't know how to talk to a person.

Very confusing entry and exit with rude parking and security attendant. The hospital staff and S&IB security is just pathetic with hardly any empathy and politeness. Even the admission staff and admin PPL do need serious hospitality skills. Only good point is the Nursing staff and Doctors team.

The behavior, attitude and treatment of Dr P K Nimani is outstanding. I opted for single or twin cabin bed but was accommodated in general Ward in 3rd floor which is too much noisy and disturbing. All staffs are talking loudly and gossiping aloud. During night felt the disturbance too much.

Very good hospital. Staff and reception are very helpful. Hospital is very neat and clean. You will get best doctor's in OPD and speciality clinic. Pathology lab and medicine counter is attached with this hospital.

My father has been admitted here for liver treatment. Representative Raj Guha assisted us in getting an appointment for Dr Anirban Chatterjee. The doctor was very experienced and caring towards my father. All staff at the gastrointestinal department were very helpful. Later, my father got ward no 505, and all nurses were very cooperative. Sulagna Madam was very good and helpful. We met Mr Sabyasachi Saha, who was the chef of the canteen to know the procedure of digestive foods. He was also very good and explained the preparation to us. The whole hospital was very clean and all advanced facilities were available there.

My experience under Dr. Sitansu Sekhar Nandi, he was good. All staffs are good. Overall experience was great.

I have been admitted in executive ward for liver abscess under Dr Anirban Chatterjee, thr experience was 200 out of 100. Staffs and management team are superb supportive specially well behaved nurse ( Mitali, Shreya etc) and brother.

One of the best ambulance service in cmri( Red Ambulance) an emergency case, one of my friend's father got a critical lungs problem at his home. They required an ambulance service immediately to take him to hospital. The Red Ambulance reached there home within 10 minutes and saved his life. The paramedic staff and driver are very professional. *The Red Ambulance* is doing a great job. I appreciated their service highly Recommended for all.. great job *Team Red*

CMRI is the one of the worst hospital in Kolkata.My mother was admitted in covid unit under Dr. Rajashri Sengupta.They would keep the patient party waiting for a long time and then would admit the patient.The covid unit is dirty,the toilets are not clean.The patients are given torn clothes and tasteless food.The doctors would unnecessarily extend the stay of the patient and the CMRI mediclaim department would delay to send the papers to be get processed to raise the bill.The sisters and doctors dont respond to the patient party , they never bother to inform about the health of the patient to the patient party.The staff are misbehaved.They would mislead the patient party about the discharge date and harras them.The management only cares about money instead of caring of patient's health.A totally money making institute with poorly trained staff.Sisters are untrained interns,lack of trained sisters and doctors.Bills are high but the services offered by the sisters and doctors are too poor.

My sister has been admitted since last three days, and has discharged today. The accomodation is very good and the environment is very pleasant. We are very much satisfied except the behaviour of patient assistance cell executive.

We had different experiences. Ms Paramita Roy was exceptional at her job. She handles everything calmly. She treats everyone with humanity. Humanity at its best. However the worst situation is the entry into the hospital. Water logged, can't enter without putting legs, shoes, pants into the sewage water. Pathetic.

Went there for dog bite at midnight. Emergency care is good and fees are reasonable. Only overpriced place is the coffee shop.

We came here for Pancreatic & Gallstone problem. our native has lack of treatment & facilities for this specific problem & we have heard of this hospital from one of our family doctor. All staffs of this hospital are co-operative from Security guard till Experienced Doctor. Treatment for which we have landed to this hospital, hospital has taken quick action on it. NOTE: Anyone who is going for admission, please consult with representative before reaching up there. Kudos to the hospital & staff.

(12/7/23) My father is a patient here for the last 5 days we have booked the Deluxe Private Ward. Here are my complaints: - 1. Food provided was not good and my father didn't like it. 2. The nurses didn't provide adequate help when my father had basic problems due to pain of injections in both hands.. Like eating, changing clothes, etc. 3. Doctors only come on rounds when it's convenient for them and 5 days have gone couldn't even meet the doctor to take note of the patients health. 4. Also we didn't get any special privileges as we expected out of a executive ward. No extra visitors.. No personal staff. Pros are - The deluxe room was clean and good enough... Even though not really worth all the money. 2. The treatment provided was good enough 3. (Most) of the staff were helpful. Edit (17/7/23)- editing my review after being discharged and considering that the proper authorities had taken note of my complaint and promised to take proper measures I increase my rating to 4 stars. One of the best super specialty hospitals. There super specialty clinics are the best. Highly qualified doctors are available there. But in patient departments are quite pricey not affordable for middle class people. Staff members are helpful. Out patient departments are really very good and budget friendly also.

We came here for complete health check up.Our overall experience is very good. All the staff members are really cordial and cooperative. We like to specially mention the name of Seuli Madam, the coordinator. She is so well behaved, so cooperative that we never had to worry about where to go next, what to do next. She was always there with a smiling face. So, thank her and all concerned.

I had gotten my mother admitted for a knee replacement and I had a wonderful experience. The nurses were extremely caring. The housekeeping department was prompt with our needs and a special shoutout to the Patient experience team for their help throughout the process.

Preventive health checkup done on yesterday, 12th January 2024. They were so caring and with well managed procedures, they actually wished Happy New year to me through their services. Excellent service, requested to keep it up. Also request to upload reports to the registered mail id

Overall good in all respects. But there is little harassment in food of my 3 yrs baby. They provide half boiled foods. After repeated complaint it is improved. Good doctor, good nurse.

Doctor and overall staff are very good. But someone of this are not so very polite or helpful. Need to be more professional. Why they forcefully stop patient a 5 yrs. Old girl child of me for exit of main gate due to some of their problem of reception. Why they do this after discharge a patient. This is very irresponsible matter. Security guard behave very rudly. Please management 🙏 do professionally with patient party.

Please separate maternity ward and single cabin was not given till discharge. Evening snacks should be given in sufficient amount. Other wise everything is ok. Doctor, nursing staff, other staffs are excellent.

My stay at the hospital was very comfortable. The rooms are well - maintained, the hospitality staff was there for my service 24 * 7. The male nurses are to be appreciated. They make me feel like I’m at home only. Would highly recommend.

The doctor, nurses were attentive ,compassionate and knowledgeable .They took the time to listen my concern, thoroughly explained the treatment option and answered all my questions .There expertise and willingness to go the extra mile were truly commendable. The term of the quality of care, I was highly satisfied with the treatment I received .The doctors accurately diagnosed my condition and swiftly initiate appropriate treatment . Throughout my stay,the hospital strictly adhered to safety protocols, creating secured environment for patients .The nursing staff provided round the clock , ensuring my comfort and wellbeing . Regarding billing and insurance , I found the hospital's procedures to be transparent and well documented .The billing department was responsive to my inquiries and work efficiently with my insurance provider.ensuring a smooth process . The enrolment process is smooth. The Quality of Doctors behaviour of cabin staff etc is commendable. Cons- they do not inform clearly about the delay of the Docs. Delays may be as high as 3/4hrs past your slot and no one bothers to inform you. OPD staff conduct much to be desired Often in many rooms they are not maintaining sequence and strong heads just barge in irrespective of slots or sequence. This is unthinkable but true for some rooms.

Did not get single bed. That was a concern.but service is good compared to other hospitals. Food is also good and tasty. Surplus food should be checked and given as per requirement to avoid unnecessary wastage.

I have been visiting CMRI Birla hospital since last 6 months. i liked the billing and appointment process. Thought waiting period at doctor chamber is high, i liked the doctors service and their expertise. i would suggest to provide water facilities for patients and visitors which is very poor. Only one water machine is put in distant corner. Also there is no paper glass near water vending machine. Overall they need to improve faculties for patients and visitors.

This is my second time using the hospital. The doctor has been excellent and took great care of the patient . However, this time I was very disappointed with the nursing staff. They were not very welcoming and attentive. If not for the nursing staff then I would have given them five stars.

The reception to senior citizen, physically impaired and single patients is very warm and laudable especially to locate the respective clinics that keep changing their locations within the hospital. The billing system in the OPD is customer friendly.

Emergency dr.,staffs, nursing staff, housekeeing (mainly bharatidi, bobita) overall services are excellent, promt & polite. I am pleased by chef Mahendra... Overall experience is good. But got a bad experience while getting discharge. There is a lack of co-ordination for the corporate patients. In my case, waited since 10.00 am on 05.04.23 for getting discharged, repeatedly communicating by the hospital authority that the credit letter from ongc not received. But in turn ongc Dr. said it has already been uploaded. Till 14.00 hrs. this game continued while patient party was waiting and finally discharge issued. My earnest appeal, next time onwards this needs serious attention so that patient does not suffer like this.

The food served in the hospital was of good quality. The housekeeping and nursing staff were attentive and polite. Cleanliness and hygiene were maintained. Any complaints and enquiry were entertained.

My father was admitted at CMRI generally the staff, gaurds were all very co-operative. Services are also good like amenities etc. However there is no canteen within the CMRI which was there a few years earlier so I would like to say that a canteen should be there inside the CMRI main building. Also water logging is a major issue something should be done by the management to avoid waterlogging. Temporarily a wooden ramp could be put in place to reach the main building during waterlogging.

Compassionate doctors, caring brothers and sisters, smiling support staff - this sums up our experience at CMRI Kolkata. Taking my mother back home today. Happy. Satisfied. :)

Staff service is good. Sisters are very helpful, for dinner they only provide veg which is the bad thing I felt because I m pure Non-vegiterian. Overall good experience.

Medical related services were very good. Both doctor and nurses were very friendly. But food was not good enough and even test less. Acute smell of garlic & onion are found in all item of vegetables. Infrastructure of latrine & toilet needs to be renovated. Bed no. 414. Released date 21st September 2021.

Discharge process should be smooth. Patient relative should not be made to move here and there. Food was good. Rest services good

Everything was good but the blood extraction was very terrific no one was experienced in venopuncture they inserted needle 3 to 4 times to find vein.

Food was not up to the marks. Nurses are very good here specially Depa, Mamata and Debline.

I had treatment with due care and attention to the timely needs of the patient. I was satisfied with the nursing service with care -rendered by all the staff. Everyone was co operative and very polite and soft spoken.

My parents were admitted to CMRI this year. My dad had a cerebral attack and mom had Covid-19. I am grateful to the doctors and staff for saving their lives. My dad was admitted for nearly 2 and a half months and contracted Covid-19. He was completely cured and tested negative before discharge. My mother also fully recovered. Apart from a few minor setbacks I am very satisfied with the treatment given to my parents. I would especially thank the patient assistance team including Kakoli, Devika and Madhumita Maam who always supported me and helped me with all hospital related issues. They are very kind and promptly assisted me. The staff in the admissions and TPA desks are very helpful and well-behaved too. I would highly recommend CMRI for their efficiency in handling Covid-19 patients and curing them. It is one of the best hospitals for Covid-19 treatment. I hope to have their support in case of future emergencies and admissions.

Excellent Doctors. Behavior of nursing staff, attendants and other hospital staff is very good. Overall very well organized departments and diagnostic facilities. Billing and insurance clearance is also swift and efficient. Food quality for patients is also good. At times it is difficult to get a space to park - so keep extra time in hand. When the parking is full, some security staff control the traffic and their behavior is very unruly. They give you a feeling that you are totally unwanted for the business and rudely instruct you to leave the premises.

The nurses and doctors behavior was good. They treated me nicely. Only the concern persons who takes blood directly through syringe need to be better trained. They pierce more than once and often do searching of veins after piercing, that hurts children a lot. Else the service, the behavior of Doctors, nurses and other staffs, cleanness, sanitization are fine.

I have been admitted in CMRI for laproscopy surgery. It has been a good experience over here, the doctors, nurses and staffs are proactive here, and put their own duty at top priority. Not to mention the hygene is also of top notch. I would like to thank my treating doctor, Dr.Debasish Mukherjee for the surgery to be carried out so smoothly and also thanks to nurses and brothers, specially I.would like to thank nurse Ms.Moumita Bhunia for taking so much care. Had my ACL Reconstruction Surgery done over here. Had a perfect experience. The doctors, the nurses and the housekeeping staff work in a collaborative manner to ensure that no patient faces any kind of inconvenience. The staff behaves well, the doctors are well experienced and experts in their field. I hope I get to come to this hospital again but, only to thank the staff for how well they cared for me.

Patient care is very very good. Highly recommended. However dealings with patient-party is quite rough at times. I live 404 kms away and had sent all the necessary documents they had asked for 12 days prior to the OT. Yet the TPA desk had overlooked some details and it was me who had to rush to the court. Hence 1⭐ less.

It has been a great experience overall. ICU department is neat ,the nurses are doing really well. Just that I didn't like the dress as it was a bit uncomfortable. If I come to normal twin sharing ward ,it's been a great experience unlike other hospitals. Food , maintenance and everything is just fantastic . Staff behaviour is very good.

There should be a completely separated 'maternity ward' dedicated to mothers only. No other patients should be kept with mothers. 1) Fast Discharge process and billing, 2) Service is good, 3) Staff behaviour decent.

We admitted our son to CMRI to treat him for gastroenteritis, which took a few days of stay at the hospital. The services on the 7th floor exec ward were superb because of the nurses - they were kind, friendly and always responsive. The services in the room were also very good, thanks to housekeeping, and good food. Admin process for check in (from ER to ward) was reasonable, could have been better.

I felt as if i was at home only. Asking for bed pan several times, Never they felt disturbed. Doctor Rajput and his team are very friendly and cooperative. Nurses and housekeeping staffs were also very good. Only during visiting hours two persons should be allowed at a time because time is only two hours and majority of it gets wasted waiting for lift.

I found the Doctors very concerned about the treatment, they were always available and ready to listen to me. Also the nurses were very well behaved and always at service. The house keeping staffs were also polite and provided necessary service as and when required.

We always come here for treatment just because services are far better than other hospitals. Nothing comes into our mind when we get sick. All staffs are courteous. Doctors are also good.
