Sorry to say..but this place is a very definition of a place where a student far from his home is compelled to impress the seniors who are the so called "the authority" there rather than focussing on the goals one has dreamed of. The hostelers apart from the seniors live in an environment of fear and are the elements of entertainment whom any senior can treat as a paid freak. To be precise, here, you are paying to be ragged regularly. I see all these "good" reviews posted in here..but I must warn everyone out there..that most of these are just the ones who used to or perhaps still 'control' everything there..

This is an awesome place. One of the best hostel in Kolkata. Good facilities and the bond that each of the member shares is awesome. Study environment is good although it needs a bit of improvement. The people here are very supportive.
