Seafarers' residential premises, maintained & run by seafarers' welfare trust, Kolkata port trust, Located at Khidirpore, Kolkata besides Netaji Subhash Dock. The premises is very large, have plenty of rooms, A/C, non A/C & dormitory, well established cafeteria and bar is very famous among seafarers. The property has its own swimming 🏊‍♀️ pool. The club is well connected by Rail, road & air. A group of laborious & professional staffs are there. Very peaceful environment where seafarers prepare for their competency exams.

Don't let the outside looks fool you, this is a hidden gem with probably colonial architecture. All the rooms have a deep history to them which you can feel when you stay here. The stay is affordable and appropriate. Only catch is that, you have to be a seafarer to stay here

Nice for seafarers... But if you want concessions on rooms and foods... Then you have to take CDC ( SEAFARERS ID) DOCUMENTS.

Very old construction, rooms are very spacious but not at all clean that's what we can expect at the price,but dg should do something to upgrade it.There is no canteen here.common washrooms are pain

You cannot expect anything more in the money they charge you. Best place for mariners. Canteen food is good, but you may try nearby Odiya dhaba for parathas and Indian food.

Great place for stay, close to MMD . Food and drinks available at affordable price for the sailor friends . The rooms are old but there is nothing to complain cause we are sailors 😁😁

Year on year when every one improves standards and change with time, This spacious Club is in pathetic condition. Unsafe drinking water, Pathetic condition of washrooms. Over years its standad has dettoriated and is in pathetic condition.

Peaceful, quiet ,good place to stay. Rooms are okay. Little maintenance is required.

In poor condition. Management is not looking after the maintenance. This huge and spacious building once a heaven for the seafarers requires attention from them else this good asset will turn debris.

You can stay here at very cheap rate minimum Rs 250 for a single room and 260 for two person.Dormatory are much more cheaper.But it need to be renovated as it's an very old structure and Can find spider man 😀 hanging every where.

Best in budget for the Mariners for accommodation who want a fair and economical stay for their various sea career documentation and training. Age old look of the rooms, though slight changes have been done in the furniture recently.

You can stay if you are a seafarer and best reasonable and cheap place to stay also for exam and mmd or other courses water is available all the time calm place and big spacious room but very old

Well, don't know about solo stay but you definitely can't bring your family here lol. The rooms are pathetic to say the least. Even if you want to stay alone...Navik Griha in Behala is like 100 times better.

No proper room available. Very old building. Care taker are charging a lot of money in name of food,room service,room charges etc
