Cafe Coffee store

👍 Pretty place just around the turn of a road. Inside isn't that large but good for coffee dates. People who love strong coffees, can visit here. Prices are a bit high for the food quality maybe. I don't know but maybe it was the wrong choice for the food. The Rigatoni pasta was a bit hard to chew on.... People often mention coffee, good, cafe, visit, chicken, Potboiler, time, menu, great, amazing,

Pretty place just around the turn of a road. Inside isn't that large but good for coffee dates. People who love strong coffees, can visit here. Prices are a bit high for the food quality maybe. I don't know but maybe it was the wrong choice for the food. The Rigatoni pasta was a bit hard to chew on. When it's hot, it doesn't taste that much good. But as it started to cool down, a different kind of good flavour came up. The Vietnamese coffee was good. And the long black didn't look long at all. Good for one time visit, in my opinion.

If you are looking for different coffee variants, then you must visit this place for sure. The menu boasts an impressive array of beverages in both hot and cold, mostly caffeine-based and not to forget the delicious quick bites. The ambience is pretty calm and this is a quick go to place if you happen to be that area. The price is slightly on the higher side compared to the quantity offered. Taste wise it’s good and even the service was quick enough. Overall had a good time over here and would love to visit again.

I was really looking forward to this place as the rating is soo good. But my experience was worst ever. Except for their behavior and ambience nothing is good. 1.Please note they are charging more than the price mentioned in the menu so please please add the amounts yourselves before paying. I got back ₹100 because they charged more than the written price for two items. Cheating people like this. 2. A plate of pasta is ₹355!!! Like seriously? And taste was okay only. Orange juice was bitter to taste and food was very average and overpriced.

Recently I visited this cafe named "Potboiler Coffee house" located at southern avenue... Ambience was very nice and soothing... A good collection of novels and comic books are also available for the customers if they want to read... Now coming to what I had : Mocktails 1. Pujo hibiscus 2. Green mint soda 3. Orange palace Food 1. Dhaka style deem curry with rice 2. Tomato basil feta bruschetta 3. Popeye's chicken poppers 4. Teriyakki sandwich 5. Brownie with ice cream This is among their pujo special menu they have launched. Food taste was good. My personal favourite were the chicken poppers and teriyaki sandwich. I loved the taste. Looking forward to visit again...

Located on the narrow streets of Gariahat, this coffee house consists of huge varieties of coffees to offer. A small cafe with limited sitting arrangement but offering high quality coffee and food. Relaxing and comfortable ambience where you can have your coffee while reading books or chat with your friends. For me its a suitable cafe for spending some alone time while reading and sipping my favourite coffee. During Durga Puja we visited this cafe for the first time. Ordered Piccolo Late, Flat White, Cold Brew. Piccolo latte turned out to be the best choice. I think the coffee taste was a bit lighter than a Cortado, but it suited my choice of flavor. In the snacks section we tried Humus & chips, Pizza where as in the desert we had Tiramisu. Pizza was too good with perfectly baked bread and delicious toppings of sauce, tomatoes, cheese and fresh basil leaves. I highly recommend the tiramisu here.

With careful selection guided by google and zomato reviews, I visited the pretty well-known Potboiler cafe last week. The place is beautifully done up with the typical casual vibe that appeals to youngsters, but what appealed to me more is the fact that the place has CATS! My friend and I were greeted by a couple of feline friends soon as we walked in and it was pretty evident they rule the place. As for the food, the three dishes we tried were quite satisfactory, with the loaded mushroom crisps stealing the show. Overall, a good option if you want to chill for a bit with some good coffee, food, and the august company of cats.

The cafe had rapidly climbed the cafe charts in Kolkata, and in my opinion, serves some of the best cafe food and coffee combinations that Kolkata has to offer. I love it when a cafe pays attention to brewing coffee in the right way, from the bean selection, grind size to the method of preparation. I have had a few different pourovers here and have come back happy everytime. Their espresso based drinks are excellent as well. Their seasonal drinks menu was sensational and their strawberry matcha latte is one of my new fav. Drinks. Food is consistent and good. From the sourdough toasties to sandwiches, to fried kimchi cheese balls. Seating is not the greatest and space is limited, but well worth it. Highly recommend this place.

As Bengalis biggest festival Durga puja is on , we always looking for some special food in this time. You can visit this beautiful place in this puja . They have such a beautiful ambiance with their good food. You can try their puja menu along with their regular menu. For puja they have launched some amazing dishes especially. So tried some of them also their regular menu as well ✓Tomato basil Feta Bruschetta ✓Popeey's chicken poppers ✓Chicken teriyaki Sandwich ✓Dhakka style Dim Curry with Steam rice ✓Brownie with icecream Drinks- ✓Orange Palace ✓Green mint Soda ✓Pujo Hibiscus You can start quick with their refreshing mocktails and Pujo hibiscus is most recommended. And if you're a book lover there are lot of options for book , fiction to adventurous all kind of story books. So if you want to spend some time with reading book and food then you can start with Popey's chicken poppers. It is too crunchy and chicken was good in quantity inside of it. Then you can go for their teriyaki chicken Sandwich which was stuffed with shredded chicken cooked in teriyaki sauce. The super one , and it comes with French fries and salad. Then if you want main course the you can try their Dhaka style Deem curry with steamed rice which is with gobindavog rice.Tasted amazing. Then to end up your meal on a sweet note then you have to must try their brownie with icecream. Staffs are really good , service is great. Also they have options for coffee , shakes , pizza etc. Quality and quantity of their food is totally great.. Recommending to visit this place once. Would like to visit this place again

So recently I was at @potboilercoffeehouse . We started off with shredded chicken teriyaki sandwich and tomato, basil & feta bruschetta. The sandwich was pretty tasty and would definitely recommend it. To along with them we had "the theory of flat white" which is kind of a latte. We finished with the pretty classic brownie with icecream. The brownie was super fudgy in the middle but quite hard to cut into at the edges. The coffee house has a very aesthetic ambiance with beautiful decor. Definitely a great place to catch up with your friends alongside a cup of coffee.

Potboiler Coffee House is a beautiful, well spaced Cafe with great interiors, board games and books. The entire space has these different aesthetic corners, each beautiful in its own way. We tried the Spaghetti Aglio E Olio which was delicious. Along with this, we also tried the Truffle oil fries which were good too.

Location: In Hindustan Park, next crossing after Wise Owl Cafe. Near Gariahat. Ambience: Tastefully decorated, perfect lighting. Large tables, very clean. Filtered drinking water available. Clean toilet. Service: The coffee was served just lukewarm when I asked for hot coffee. When pointed out the waiter said they serve lukewarm coffee so that the milk is not burnt! What an excuse! In cold winter evenings I enjoy a cup of hot coffee, not a lukewarm coffee. Ordered: * Cinnamon Sea Salt Mocha: was served lukewarm, not hot. Spoiled the experience. * Thai Satay Chicken: three sticks of grilled boneless chicken pieces, was quite tender, however was not having much flavour. Served with a peanut dip and slices of cucumber. Was not bad, good for a shared bite with someone. * Caramelized White Chocolate Mocha: tasted average, did not have the taste of white chocolate. Overall, nice cafe with ok food. But they need to focus more on customer experience, serving lukewarm coffee is not acceptable. Recommended for a quick bite.

Tucked in a corner in a street close to Purna das Road, Golpark, it is a small but tastefully done cafe with some unique, must try dishes. Tried a Turkish dish-poached eggs on yogurt. Beautiful. Coffee was standard.

While the number of cafés increasing day by day, potboiler coffee house still holds it’s position as one of the top cafés in the town. Recently I’ve visited this beautiful insta worthy cafe to try out few of their dishes. The ambiance looks really amazing with books and wall decors. Now coming to the things I’ve tried, Chicken Teriyaki Sandwich: The sandwich was loaded with shredded chicken and bell peppers. I’d definitely recommend you to try this out. You’re gonna love it. Tomato, Basil & Feta Bruschetta : flat toasted bread topped with chopped tomatoes and basil. Topped with loads of feta cheese. A great option for those who likes to keep their snacks light. The Theory of Flat White : A kind of latte with strong flavour of coffee. Definitely an eye opener if you try this in the morning. Their pujo special combo, Tangra Style Chili Chicken and Fried Rice : This was their pujo special combo. The quantity was great but I would’ve really liked it more if they reduced the spices a little. The Orange Palace : orange juiced infused coffee. Neither too strong, nor too sour. Perfect balance of taste. The experience was really good. If you’re looking for an aesthetic insta worthy cafe, do hop in and try them out.

Let's get lost into the world of fantasy. Drink Great coffee. Have a cosy chat while having good food. Potboiler is surely going to be a dreamy experience for you. Located at Keyatala, this Insta worthy Café is surely going to win your heart. Aesthetic walls covered with beautiful coffee experiences and quotes, amazing collection of books, cozy sitting areas on the indoor as well as at the outdoor, this new Potboiler outlet is completely ready to deliver you a good time. Now coming to the new revamped menu of Potboiler, their main idea was to make people settle into the flavours just how they settle into the place and always making them come back for more. They are also focusing on using local produces. Dishes which I tried were, • Shredded Chicken Teriyaki Sandwich The best dish I had here! Grilled Sandwich filled with shredded chicken in Teriyaki sauce, the sauce helped each and every single bite juicy and flavourful. Served with fries on the side, you should definitely try this dish out. • Tomato, Basil & Feta Bruschetta The Feta cheese was the best part but the tomtao overpowered the taste a bit. It was tasty for sure, but I would have loved to have more flavours. • The Theory of Flat White This coffee based drink was quite nice. • The Orange Palace This is my first time trying the combination of Orange and Coffee and I have to say they go very well together. It was a nice experience as I went there with 3 of my most favourite people and I cherished every single moment of it. Thanks to the warm welcome and amazing hospitality to the Potboiler Team. I would love to visit again.

It was the last day at their Triangular Park store, and my first time at Potboiler. It was a nice experience but understandably, quite a few products were out of stock. Cannot wait for them to reopen on the 1st of August! All the best, Potboiler.

One of the aesthetic cafes in Kolkata. The area is nice, so do the cafe. Loved their coffee; I ordered from the chilled ones. Can’t remember the name atm but it was not something very regular. Also ordered some pop chicken that I forgot to take the picture. It was during Durga puja when I visited the place so had to wait long to get a seat inside. But they have a place outside where you can smoke and wait. They also have a cute lil cat there.

I'm visiting from Bangalore. I was very happy to discover this place in Kolkata. I'm picky about my cafe visits and this place was definitely a great find! I loved the coffees i tried and even the cosy vibe of the space. Great staff, always willing to attend to their customers. Even better, the team here knows a lot about the coffees they serve. I even got chatting with the head chef here, found a common South Indian connection and talked about coffees and a few common interests we share! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic coffee experience in Kolkata. Their grub and coffees have some fun names and their speciality coffees are definitely worth a try. If you start roasting coffee in the future i can almost imagine the aroma in a place like that....it would be heavenly! I was also telling someone that the street leading to the coffee shop had a quantity Pondicherry vibe to it!! Loved this place overall and will definitely come back on my future visits to Kolkata

From the moment you step inside, the warm embrace of rich aromas and the mellifluous symphony of whirring coffee grinders welcome you into a haven of sensory delight. Ambience reigns supreme at Potboiler. The rustic yet modern decor melds effortlessly with the gentle hum of chatter, creating an atmosphere that oscillates between bustling energy and tranquil coziness. My recent visit to Potboiler coffee house was just amazing. It is a wonderful cafe to hangout with friends and enjoy some amazing food and coffee. They have a long balcony sitting arrangement too where you can spend some time alone to enjoy your own company looking at the greenery outside and thats my favourite place. The food was superb. My personal favourite was their pancake, chicken and cheese poppers. Overall my experience was great and i cant wait to visit here again.

Nice cozy cafe in Gariahat area. I had ordered the aglio e olio pasta which was decent. Some mocha coffee recommended by the server with marshmallow on the side is definitely recommended. However considering the quantity and quality of food, I feel the cafe is a bit overpriced. Overall a decent place to hang out with friends.

This place was on my bucket list for a long time. Recently they have relocated to a new location, so I had to wait to visit to the new location. Coming to the experience, I will describe this one as average. Ambiance is good, having decent decor which is very common now-a-days in café culture. Coming to the food, ordered Masala tea, Latte of the Rings, Popeye's Chicken Poppers and Potboilers Greek Salad. Every dish was average, nothing special. Service is okay. Scanned menu option available which is good.

One of the best cafes in south Kolkata if you are looking for a great ambiance with pleasant hospitality. I have a mixed opinion about the cafe. I went to this coffee house with five of my friends on this Durga Puja. It was close to empty when we entered the cafe which is very rare during the times of festivals. I found them very organized. The interior design and decoration were really very impressive. The toilet cum washroom was excellent. There was a packet of sanitary napkins to use in the washroom. So I would like to appreciate their thinking. That small initiative can go a long way. Now comes to the food. We ordered a chicken and corn pizza which was delicious and very cheesy. I absolutely loved that. Then we ordered a ramen. It was like some ordinary fried noodles and extremely dry. The taste was not definitely like a good ramen. Also the quantity was not good enough. Lastly we ordered a momo platter. The flovor was recommended by them. The taste was good but extremely spicy. So I would recommend to everyone that if you don't like spices then make it clear to them before placing the order. So keeping in mind with the quantity of foods the cafe is a good option if you want to spend quality time with your friends but not a good option if you are starving.

Amazing place to hang out with friends. You'll be greeted by their furry friend, Laddoo the moment you step in. They have an amazing collection of coffees. Absolutely loved their sandwich (although the bread was toasted a lil too much). Definitely recommend the Godfather coffee. However, their bread pudding wasn't upto the mark.

Potboiler Coffee House is one of the best place for bibliophile and coffee lover's in Kolkata. It is located at Purna Das Road near Triangular Park. The moment you step inside, a monochrome wall art explaining the coffee-making process will greet you. The inside walls also sport quirky one-liners and captions. You'll love the pista green wall, aptly named Anatomy of a Bookworm. The section near huge glass windows will definitely make Potterheads happy - string of bulbs hanging from the ceiling and Harry Potter-themed cushions.

The guy who is brewing the coffee really knows how to do it. And main course is awesome. Until the pot is hot have a visit here. Where food is love ❤❤

Summer specials at Potboiler Coffee If there was one word to describe Potboiler, it would be “Comfy”. For some reason, the entire vibe of the place is very different. Feels you can be yourself and have the best conversations here. Also apart from the vibes, they serve greaaat coffee and food too 😍 From their new summer coffee specials, I tried their Biscoff Freddo Cappuccino, Guava Burst and Fuzzy Cold Brew. What you’ll like from these will depend on how you like your coffee. The food plates looked really colourful making it all the more tempting. The dishes are all friendly for the weather and do not make you feel bloated after a good meal. I tried the quesadillas, nachos, summer tarts, parmesan cheese garlic bread and their signature brownie with ice cream. Quite a disappointing visit. They open at 10 and we reached after 11. After ordering we removed our masks. A cleaning staff started moping the floor right then. He was not wearing a mask. He then started dusting the tables and bookcases around us. We had to ask him to wear a mask. More professional behavior is expected. Foodwise this was no better. Their darjeeling tea cost more than other good cafes, yet was not as aromatic. Danish and cookies were decent. Mushroom and pesto bruschetta was too salty and tasted average. Yet they charged 265 for 3 small pieces. My friends tried hazelnut cappuccino and was not thrilled. The coffee were priced around 200. So just a bruschetta, pot of tea, 3 coffees, one cookie and Danish cost more than 1200 here. Highly doubt that only a good ambiance and clean, gender sensitive washroom will bring me back here.

Very nicely decorated place. While comparing space with others, it's small having seating capacity around 12-14 max. However the food options we tried were really really good in taste. A must try item is CHICKEN POPOERS. So tasty, almost dry and not oily, jucy chicken inside. I recommend this place for visit and have a great time with good food.

😐 Simply come here for the atmosphere and history. Nothing should be eaten here. Cold coffee was a letdown. It was cold water that had been sweetened with a pinch of coffee.
