A beautiful little bakery and cafe, the food is nice, ambience is good. Pros: the behaviour of the staff and the service they give is awesome. Cons: The space is too small for comfort, u fill in 4-5 people and it gets crowded. Overall it's a good place to head out to for a coffee.

Cocoa Bakery is definitely one of the hidden gems when it comes to savoury food. Their quality of food is great and they use delicious ingredients that are not usually available at our homes. Might be on a pricier side for some, but it delivers when it comes to taste.

A quaint little cafe in a quiet lane of Alipur. Nice ambience with courteous staff. Small sitting area in 2 parts. Serves typical cafe food like patties, muffins, cakes, pastries, doughnuts, burgers, wraps, crepes etc. Plenty of additional choice in the menu with soups, salads, pasta, risotto and various beverages. The patties and cookies are delicious. They take cake orders for parties and customise as per needs including eggless. Had a great experience for a birthday party cake with good taste and reasonable price.

The place is extremely alive. With a sitting arrangement in open area this place has got my heart, also fir the fact that they serve most awesome hot chocolate. Extremely reasonable and hygienic💖

Wish I could give negative reviews. We went there on the day of Nabami of Durga Puja, but surprisingly found the place empty, there wasn't a single customer apart from us. We ordered CB Fried Chicken Egg Benedict, Fish and Chips, peach iced tea and Iced Cappuccino, we expected the food to be served quickly as we were the only customer but they took their own sweet time. Once the food arrived the Fish was not fresh and it had a pungent raw smell, and as I cut open the Friend Chicken it was bloody, as if they hadn't cleaned the chicken properly. So we moved on to the drinks and not one of them was good, peach iced tea was too sour, cold Cappuccino was too tasteless. We were extremely disheartened but thought not to say anything as it was a time of Durga Puja and they're working instead of enjoying. But the next day that bloody fried chicken gave me diarrhoea and I had to survive on ORS for the next two days. I didn't want to put any reviews as it's a dear old adda junction of ours, but serving unhygienic food absolutely unacceptable. Hence, it put an end to our regular visit to that place.

The most inhumane and non customer friendly staff which I’ve seen. We’ve been a regular customer since the time this shop has happened but the behaviour of the manager of their New Alipore today left me speechless today. We (me along with my wife and 1 year old kid - who was sleeping) had gone today around 2:35 p.m. wherein I had requested the manager to give us the sofa seats since my baby would be comfortable sleeping there. That place was being vacated as soon as we entered by 2 guests. To my utter dismay, the manager refused me to give those seats and asked us to take smaller seats. I again asked him to give us those seats to which he said that seat is reserved for bigger groups which was contradictory since just when we had entered 2 guests were occupying that place. Well given the unapologetic behaviour which is inconsiderate and inhumane have decided never to visit this place again!

Although it is a bakery, but I personally felt that the savoury dishes were better than the desserts. The desserts were average, O have had much better at other renowned patisseries. The Aglio Olio, Chicken Lasagne and the Chicken Crepe were pretty good. Quantity is decent, service is good

I honestly hopped in just to sit and chat and wasn't in the mood to eat. The ambience is cozy and have been there previously also so ordered small bites - veg pizza, veg pattie, chocolate donut. All 3 were yummy and the donut was dripping with chocolate. Lovely experience..the place is fuss free..items are value for money and full of taste..must try

Quiet early morning. Only customer. Simple order grilled sandwich and cold coffee. Turnaround time 10mins max. Its going to be 30 mins promise not delivered. I wonder, process failure or wrong estimation by the server. Needs attention to deliver what you promise. Promise?

If you are looking for a perfect bakery shop, the I will definitely recommend you to spend your pennies in this shop. They serve some of the lip smacking items from their menu along with delicious desserts. Also the cold coffee and cold mocha is to die for. Special mention to the brownie with ice cream that will truly satisfy your taste buds.

Staff are all courteous as well, though service is a little slow at times. They used to have breakfast buffets on Sundays, but have stopped it a while ago. Ample free parking is available on the street outside.

Awesome little find. Service was quick and the food was delicious. Farmhouse burger easily one of the best I've had. Big assortment of pastries and breads to choose from, too.

I used to go to this place years back. This used to be my go to Café with friends. But I am having really bad experience for last few visits which started since 2019. But at first I thought it was just one day. But few days ago I gave it another visit (WHICH Will Be Considered As My Last For Sure); and surprisingly it turns out to be the same of not worse. They are not at all attentive towards their customers. I have gone there and waited for almost half an hour and nobody took an order. Then I approached the counter yet the workers were busy talking to themselves. At last they took the order. Then there were several people coming and going out of nowhere continuously. It almost feels like the cafe is actually a hall of a building where each member of that building is going out to the street. They don't check on their customers at all,ONLY IF YOU ARE TWO PEOPLE IN NUMBERS AND SAT ON THE COUCH. They are super alarmed if you do so and you will be told for sure to move as it's for group of people. Even when there's nobody in the cafe at that time. THE ONLY TIME I SAW THEM BEING ACTIVE TO BE HONEST. it's sad to see how one cafe which was once a favourite cosy spot has certainly fell apart. They need to work on their hospitality alot. *sigh*

Cosy little cafe. A go to place for me and my friends/cousins. The food is really good and the hazelnut/Irish cappuccinos are truly coffee lover's paradise. I wish they bring their cinnamon rolls back. They were fantastic. Also, amazing collection of breads and desserts.

I have placed order for some gift hampers on behalf of my organization. First thing first, all food items were tasty and delicious. Decorations was also eye-catching. I received all the hampers at one go, which was a hassle free process.

Ordered Chocolate Shake which was pretty good and filling as well. The place is nice but since it is small you’ll not find it quiet. You have better options if you’re looking for a calmer place. Prices were decent and not high as per the standard of the place & area. No running offers nor listed in any apps which do run discounts. Good place for a date maybe but not a big group.

It's a lovely place to go for a soothing,chillaxing(as they say) evening with light snacks,tranquil drinks and some of the most delicious food as well as bakery items available in Kolkata. Had visited their Minto Park outlet, which I found to be far more attractive and comfortable in terms of size as well as ambience(though even that is pretty small).The service here is extremely nice and pretty quick.Ambience is excellent for relaxing your day-long tired brains.All in all,a wonderful atmosphere but it's just a bit congested. Coming to the food... We ordered - * Grilled Chicken with Parsley Rice - it was simply awesome...the combination worked wonders with the boiled vegetables adding to the sensational stimuli on the taste buds. * Chicken Penne Pasta - Was well-made and delicious(just a tad bit oily). * Brownie in bowl - You just HAVE TO TRY THIS !! One of the best desserts I have had in a while.The all-so creamy layer of chocolate sauce with the soft, smooth brownie stuffed inside a bowl, was simply a delight and a perfect end to our small yet yummalicious meal time ! Do give it a try !! :) (if not the food,then for the bakery items.I have had a few & they are simply worth it)

We have made several visits to this quaint little joint and this has evolved as our go to comfort place for cafe food and dessert. This surely is a hidden jem and deserve all the praise for their wholesome food and friendly staff. We have also been ordering cakes for our birthdays and recently we ordered a special 2 tier cake for our engagement. I have to say they did an excellent job of reproducing the design that we found online and it was equally delicious to eat. I highly recommend you go with cocoa bakery for such occasions as they are evidently very good at what they do.
