I love the byloom canteen for their short, simple and delicious menu. It’s a very cosy ambience with colourful furniture ,they serving the most delicious fish fry and luchi Mutton...Do not forget to try their Masala Tea..I also tried nolen gurer custard,it was good too and affordable..The staffs were very polite and helped us order proper portions for us too.. Great place to hang out with friends.... 3-4 times I was visited that place.. Highly recommend this canteen...

My review is for the store and not the cafe. Great collection of sarees. You can get sarees of all tastes and price ranges. Very aesthetically designed store as well. The staff are friendly and are eager to help. I would definitely visit Byloom again.

Byloom, pre pandemic was a wonderful place to have authentic Bengali snacks. Been too many a times. Today, we realised, pandemic has taken its toll. Took my daughter out for kind of high tea as she will be returning to Germany in few days. Certain observations * we three were only customer from 6.50 to 8.00 pm * service was awfully slow. * water was provided after the first course was over, that too upon asking. * Required more than 5 minutes to get an extra empty plate, reason provided, he was helping at shop retail. * a dish had two accompaniments, as described in the menu, served with one 😐. Upon asking for that another 5 minutes. * AC was switched on after 30 minutes, that too upon asking. Incidentally, a bearded middle aged gentleman, may be owner, in front of us had instructed the person there to switch on the AC, but seems he was waiting for me to beg. * sad experience. Request owners to be slightly attentive to get back to its own glory.

Upscale cafe at Hindustan Park. It is extension of Byloom boutique... Pros: Location, Ambience and Service Cons: Very little options for vegetarians and vegans, value of money

Food was nice, altho the A.C did not seem to work that well. Few items on the menu was not available, otherwise good ambience and friendly employees ♡ they said the cold coffee was not available since they were having difficulty with the ice (but later on they came and gave us the iced coffee, really appreciate it😂💗)

A cute little place tucked in a by-lane. Simple menu , with freshly prepared food at decent price and portion size.. Closes a bit too early. Decor is simple with traditional Bangla feel.

Great cottons and a great cafe inside called CANTEEN. Nice simple ambience to sit calling the staff with hand bells.. Very good quality snacks.. and great tea. Main dishes should be nice though I did not try..

Their store is good, but the cafe is a little overpriced. The maangsher chop used to be awesome - it wasn't what we remembered it to be. Kodhaishuttor luchi and Aaloo dum were OK, but nothing great! We go back for old memories, but I am really questioning it now...

Visited Byloom Canteen . Just like their amazing clothes the food tastes great as well. Enjoyed Mangsher Chop , Fish Roll and Chicken Cutlet along with some fresh sherbet and Nolen Gurer Souffle ! Ah and the beautiful interiors and ambience added to our adda ! ❤️

Food is overtly priced. The prices are normal for that area but don't justify the quality of food. We ordered fish and chips and got a few pieces of chips which someone is bound to think that came on the plate by mistake. Together with uncomfortable seating equivalent service this is a complete no-no for even visiting once.

The Byloom canteen is a cosy, feel good place.. very tasty Bengali food. A great place to meet friends. The kacha aamer sharbat, mutton chop, kasha mangsho was awesome. Rohit, who served us, added flavour to our meet with his warmth.

Today's experience is very bad. Very bad food quality. And the staff was taking too much time. I will never go there at Byloom Canteen

I have always loved the food and ambience of The canteen at Byloom... Not only does the place have some of the coolest clothes and sarees and accessories but their canteen is to die for!! Try their mutton chop and fowl cutlet for that typical Kolkata canteen/ cabin fare!!! Or try the more opulent macher kochuri and aloo r dom.... Absolutely delicious!!! And beat the heat with their Sondha monjori.... A delicious concoction of aam porar sorbot!!! Cheers!

Hello I am a regular customer in your shop , though I live abroad still Byloom Shree is one of my favourite. Few years back I bought a Shree cost around Rs 7000. Worn it twice but it started changing colour after every ware. I dry cleaned it and it turned white from a dark orange colour. It’s unbelievable and socking. The 2nd floor sharee ladies are looks very lazy and busy with their own chitchat or lunch .Seems like they need some professional skill . It’s just a humble and honest approach towards the owner for some real attention before some sincere consumer change their mind . Many thanks

This place serves some amazing bengali delicacies and the ambience is also awesome. The only things that I didn't like was that they have a very limited menu and also the quantity of the non-veg food items were less in takeaway as compared to dine in. But yes I would highly recommend this place.

the food is oh, so delicious! the supplies are dwindling. we had to patiently wait as they had yo send out people to fetch supplies. we went for a leisurely lunch, so haf all the time in hand. at 12:40, they only had the mutton chop in starter. no problem, we ordered and had savoured the excellent preparation. then, at half one, we ordered fish fry as that became available. only at two, we could get luchi - mangso (we are out of stock with flour - and that coming from a restaurant where luchi mangso is one of the popular dishes). at the end, we ate what we wanted to, the food was as excellent as always. the lack of execution worried me - i want and wish a healthy and prosperous future to Byloom. i hope this is not a sign of decay to my beloved restaurant.

Situated on Hindustan park road, Gariahat its a wonderful place to eat some good authentic bengali food starting from fish fry to chicken pulao. The taste is quality & the prices are reasonable so you must try.

Being a traveller to Kolkata I'd heard about the cafe in Byloom but I'd also assumed it to be one coffee/tea and munchies kind of place with no serious food! But boy was I wrong! The Canteen was such a pleasant discovery of sorts! They serve some awesome fare and they get a lot of crowd at dinnertime. I simply loved the food here and I tried some fish and mutton dishes along with their unique 'Aamla sherbat'. Highly recommend this cafe for food!

Very bad experience. Had ordered some food. Was asked to wait for 15 mins. After half an hour when I came nothing was ready. Attitude was most casual. No urgency to get it done quickly. Everyone was just gossiping.

Pretty good collection of sarees except the conventional ones. Price range is also decent if not cheap. For me the overall shopping experience was great along with the canteen food (luchi aloor dum) (Clothing section) One improvement point would be to appoint more enthusiastic staffs as I found them a little bit apathetic!
