Snacking is a very picturesque eating joint located on the stretch from Lords Bakery to South City Mall. You’ll find it in the alley road beside the 7th Heaven café. Two of us went in for a light dinner and we loved it! The food quality is very good, the service is great and the ambience is ripe for taking great photos in. We ordered the famous hot chocolate with marshmallow and a normal coffee. The hot chocolate is truly delicious and you’ll find the images attached to this review. We ordered the chicken bliny and that was quite tasty as well - there are 3 bliny served together and is moderately filling. We then chose to order the burger and to our surprise, found that it was black in colour! It came with fries and tasted absolutely delicious! It cost both of us around 1400 rupees in total and was totally worth it.

Beautifully designed cafe with lip smacking food. One of the best hot chocolate I've ever had. Blinny was something new to try and went above and beyond expectations. Quantity is quite good for the slightly high price. Definitely recommended.

A very good place to visit with friends or family. I love the atmosphere it is so clean and air conditioned. And the seats are cozy. They have many room you can select wherever you want to sit. Also they have a nice and clean washroom. This place is best for couples or university students. Location is also feasible just opposite of South City Mall. The food they served is a yummy is taste. I went there with one of my friend and we had a lotus stem fly which is a signature dish and it is soo delectable I can't express its a must order visit the place it's a must visit. Also we ordered cold coffee which are served in a unique cup and it is also very yummy in taste and also we order a chicken pan cake which is also very yummy it's name is blinney but I would definitely recommend the lotus stem fly. Pasta is also good. A perfect place.

Literally my go-to place whenever I'm around South City. Rather than looking around in the food court take a 2 min walk to this cafe. The Mac n cheese, grilled chicken in creamy cheese sauce and virgin mojito are my favorites. Definitely one of the more aesthetic cafes in Kolkata, plus it doesn't leave a hole in the pocket.

I can't say enough for the food, it was so yum. People here aren't like the other restaurant ones who give less chicken on their pizzas. Everything was so luscious, I got a share of each topping in each bite. I can't say enough for the taste. We just dug in rather than waiting for clicking pictures. The service is very good, the waiter was very sweet to us. The atmosphere gives an old, aesthetic coffee house vibe, very warm and homely. I loved it, will visit again.

It was a wonderful experience at Snacking. The cafe is extremely well decorated and one can enjoy the food with any of the themes they want. There is also a open dining section with lush greenery. The food was tasty and of enough quantity. Staff behaviour was also polite.

Ambience is very soothing and relaxing. Quality and quantity of the food are amazing as well. Mouth watering must say!!! Will visit this place again. Staff are cooperative and friendly. I must say chicken blini was awesome. Lasagne was okay. Personally I don't like spinach but otherwise it was good. Chicken Strogonoff was yummy. Grilled Bhetki in lemon butter sauce was also okay. Drinks are also good. Overall it was a good experience.

The interior is well designed and must say well sanitized. The staffs are polite and helpful. The food is great although priced a little higher side.The cold cut meat dishes are quite good, the chinese dishes are not bad also. Many dishes are cheese or white sauced based maybe they can have more options. Having books or games is a good idea but most of these things looks bought frm second hand market while cafe is quite new. Taste the good food and hangout with your friends here.

This is a great cafe in the neighborhood. The food is actually very good. The staff and service is great. They have maintained the quality over the years. It's just inside a lane near the main road so away from the traffic. I will definitely go back and recommend others to visit as well. Edit: after one year they still have the same quality.

Located in lanes of Anwar shah area. This is a resident converted into beautiful cafe . Cafe has small -2 rooms connected with each other having books and games all around . Coming to food coffee was awesome and they are popular for blini a Russian pancake that was awesome. Burgers too was good prepared with in-house patty. Overall a great place to hangout by yourself or with a company with some good food and a book or a game.

Nice little place, well lit and good decor. The food was reasonable and worth every penny. You should try "Malta chicken" if you visit the place. The coldbrew was good but you can get better elsewhere. The French fries were tasty and plenty. The service was fast and in good portion. If you are there with your friends, don't forget to try out the board games available!

Quaint little place in Lake Gardens. We had the Hot chocolate, which came with a marshmallow, and the chicken blini. The Hot chocolate was nice, a tad too sweet for me, and the Blini was great. It was creamy, with nice chicken chunks. The service is great, and the wait staff were extremely helpful and nice. Would recommend!

Pretty little cafe tucked away in Prince Anwar Shah Road, near South City Mall. What I really liked about this place is the decor, the overall ambience and just how well maintained this place was. It is divided into 4 different sections with the option of outdoor seating and each section has it's own vibe and distinct look. The cafe is bright and cheerful in general and can lift up your spirits. Their music selection was immaculate as well. Food wise, we had the Hazelnut Hot Chocolate, Grilled Bhetki Fish in Lemon Butter Sauce and the Snacking Special Open Burger, and everything looked good and tasted even better. The hot chocolate was easily one of the best I've ever had and delicious. The burger was great and came together well and actually managed to hold itself despite the multiple layers of patties, cheese, onions and other fillings. The Bhetki was good as well but I didn't find it to be "that" special or something. That being said, the place was slightly expensive for me, and they do take service charge so bear that in mind.

Service was very good and the atmosphere too it's a must visit place for friends hangout we ordered one hakka noodles and tangra style chilli chicken combo(noodles were okay okay but the chicken was good), burnt garlic noodles with tangra style chilli fish(same the noodles were okay but the fish was good), veg fried rice with tangra style chilli chicken(rice and chicken both were good), a coleslaw chicken sandwich(okay okay), chicken strips(Istg best chicken strips!!!), classic mint(good), Blue lagoon(again average) we should've tried other options, will definitely try them next time. Also the quantity they're giving in this price range is amazing

Well, a very pleasant place to be! An awesome ambiance, very well spoken, witty, and decent staffs. I think a very few people have discovered this wonder, hence, this place is crowd less, though we had to wait for a couple of minutes, before we had been introduced to these delicious meals. If I talk about the quality and taste of the food, it's heavenly, particularly the drinks you will get a very new type of essence from them. The noodles and the combo were extraordinarily delicious, mouthwatering, aren't they? If I talk about the ways to reach the cafe, well I know only one by the grace of my lovely friends, that too from South City Mall to the awesome Snacking, it's a working distance, you have to work on your left (after you come out of the mall) for about 500m and you need to cross the road and after a few steps to the same direction you will be having an alley, and at the end of it you've reached. I better suggest Google maps. It does help a lot. Price is reasonable, and they're couple friendly. Last but not the least, I wish you an awesome evening at Snacking with your loved ones. I will see you someday there, because it feels I'm gonna visit the place quite often. Merci beaucoup🏵️

Had a pretty good time, great ambiance, well lit. We went on a Wednesday evening so it wasn't very crowded. It was practically empty by the time we left. Every food item was spot on. We had french fries, a couple of mango shakes, pizza and their Signature dish, chicken blini. Quite good, portion wise. The staff is very well behaved. Thanks for a lovely evening.

The place is definitely extremely pretty. Very well decorated and I really love the whole decor. Now coming to what matters, the food, firstly I've been to places like this and places much fancier but judging by the place, it's overpriced. Even considering the food and the taste and quality, i would say it's a bit over priced. They can and definitely should get the price down a notch or make the menu so that people don't mind paying what they are. Otherwise not so bad for a hangout session with friends.

Its a cute little corner tucked in a lane near South city mall. The ambience is lovely with the decor and music playing in the background. The food is good too, we ate combo's and it was worth it. Must try the chilli chicken and chilli fush combo. The entrance has plants and a neon sign board that's adds to the ambience.

Very good ambiance to hangout with friends. The best part of the cafe is the classic music that they play. Food is also kind a good. Service of the cafe is also good. I won't say it is very much pocket friendly but not that expensive as well. Over the loved it.

We headed here for our Friends' birthday celebration. The staff here are very Helpful. They helped us with arranging Cake, served it on a different plate from packaged box. They even played the 'Happy Birthday' theme song. The food was definitely 10/10. The Spaghetti is a must try. The marination is Just awesome. One can visit here with family or friends.

A very cozy cafe perfect for a unadulterated 'Adda'. Their best part is the food. Food tastes and service has to be the USP of this place. Pocket pinch was also reasonable for the quality and quantity they serve. Its also conveniently located.

Great atmosphere!! One of the best cafes in Lake Gardens. There are plenty of books, you can choose any one of them and read as much as you can. There is a smoking zone inside the cafe. One guitar is always there for you. So if you want to spend some precious time with your friend or any close one, then this is the right place.

Just 2 words - insta worthy. Located near Lords more right across Hanglatherium, this place is a hidden gem. From the outside it appears like a small eatery but it has a good seating capacity which is divided into multiple small sections with different decors. The ambiance is terrific and beautiful with nice music ( 90' s pop or 80's rock music mostly). The waiters are nice and courteous. The food menu doesn't give you a lot of options but I guess it's good enough. The cuisine is mostly English, European and continental. It's isn't big on the pocket and a meal for 2 including beverage won't go beyond 1k. The parking can be a problem as although they let you park in front of the restaurant but because of the narrow lane it can cause a traffic snarl. Overall 5/5 and will visit again.

It is the most innovatively decorated cafe with each room having a different decor. We had iced mocha and caramel mocha. All the drinks tasted amazing and worth the money. The location of the place is a bit inside but it's completely worth it. Do visit 🌟

My second home! One of the best and friendliest café in Kolkata. The interior is comfy and has a very positive vibe. Their food and beverage range is amazing. Do try their hot chocolate and peach iced tea. Some must-haves are pizza, nacho, pasta and wraps. These are really amazing. Great variety for both veg and non-veg eaters.

This place is one of my favorites in town, and no matter what I order, I have never been disappointed. Though I should say that the blini and hot chocolate of this place are something else. Couple this with an amazing service and ambience, you are in for a treat. Shockingly though, even after being amazing, this place is still a bit underrated!

Please try their Veg loaded nachos and watermelon basil cooler. Had ordered Nutella crepe. The only best thing of the crepe was Nutella. I think the crepe could have been cooked a little more.
