A very decent joint to enjoy decent food in a very comfortable ambience. The staff were amicable and extremely friendly. The menu is quite well spread with a wide range of choices. As one enters, a beautiful smell of coffee hits you. It felt like having entered a living room. The choice of music is soft, contemporary and adds to the romantic ambience. Service was quick and well structured. Layout of dishes were decent and drinks were served in the right holders. Do not miss the fish and chips on the menu.

Just very disappointed with the food. The place is nice and bright. Tried their double chicken with mushrooms sauce. Something just didn’t taste right. The sauce was a bit lemony . The sandwich was ok. Then we tried their special kebab 64. Another product gone wrong. The kebab was sweet . The coffee and the mojito was pleasant. It can be better when the service is more efficient and food quality improves. But there is room for improvement. Not so Happy Eating

I was looking for a cafe where you can sit and relax for a little time and finally got this cafe. And I was satisfied with the position and the environment. One of the best cafes around City Centre Salt lake. This place has never disappointed me. The location is really convenient as it's on the main road towards the exit. The food is really delicious and well cooked, a must try is the honey glazed chicken , the chicken white sauce pasta along with the cafe frappe with ice cream. The service is also great and there are enough waiters so you don't get ghosted :'). The Atmosphere is cozy and very homely and there is a live music counter, if you're lucky you could experience an unplugged concert.

A friendly cafe with good Ambiance and good food. The only downside, if visiting in big groups better have prior reservations else on busy times waiting can be a bit elongated. The cold coffees and appetisers were very good. Best thing about the cafe is they have portion based prices so you can choose a small / large portion of the same dish depending on your group size.

Calcutta 64 is very popular cafe near City Centre 1 and they don’t need any introduction. Wanted to visit them for long time and finally got a chance. Vibe is super, lot of tables, nice music and well-behaved staffs. Oreo Vanilla Shake @ Rs.240 (5/5) --------------------------------------- It's one of their most popular shakes and it tasted amazing. Just the perfect portion of creme and oreo with perfect amount of sweetness. Highly recommended. Fish and Chips @ Rs.220 (4/5) --------------------------------- Excellent filling of fish and crispy layer outside, served with an awesome dip and some french fries. Although fish fry was served little oily, could've been soaked on a nappy before serving but it tasted good. Highly recommended. Double Chicken Steak @ Rs.500 (2/5) ------------------------------------------ In the name of creamy mushroom sauce it felt like black paper soup. Punch of black pepper was so deep that mushroom nor the chicken taste was prominent. Once again herb rice and butter goodness couldn't be felt due to excessive black pepper. Chicken breast could've been little more grilled. For Rs.500 anyone would expect way more perfection, so it was total loss for me. Conclusion -------------- Although this cafe is very beautiful and running long in business but they still are way behind in perfectioning dishes. On the other hand, their prices aren't very cheap, food quality somehow doesn't justify the price. So my recommendation will be visit them for their ambiance, have a coffee or shake and mostly a starter but don't go beyond that.

It is a cafe with a beautiful ambiance. It us perfect for a date or to enjoy a quiet evening. The service is quite good with a reasonable pocket pinch. It offers a variety of foods and drinks(except hard drinks). Enjoy food with music (sometimes live also).

Nicely done up cafe with a good menu; great location, easy to find. Impressed with the turn around time and the vibe created. Service guys were a tad bit upset and not very pleasing to the customers, some almost angry, not sure why. IPL on TV was quite loud but I guess due to the popular demand. I have been a regular to Calcutta 64 and it's one of those places which has never disappointed me. They have their classics like the Fish and Chips or the Chicken Steak and Sizzler, and on the other hand they don't shy away from experimenting(like the Oriental Pizza!). It does get a little crowded at times, so may not be an ideal place to sit and talk, if you like a quieter environment like I do. The music nights are really good. Good to see the cafe promoting and supporting such artistic talents.

If you wanna try something a bit away from the conventional cuisines, this is the place you must visit. The food quality is sublime and the ambience is pretty good. The decor is also very tasteful. The only lacuna is that, the washrooms could have been a bit more cleaner.

We have ordered few items like fish n chips, chelo kebab and chicken steak with butter n lemon juice alongwith sweet lime soda, ginger lemonade and caramel custard as a dessert. Let me break each dishes in detail so that it would help all of us to judge and order the right dishes when going with frenz or family . 1. Fish n chips was ok , it was not upto the standard of what you get in cafe or restaurant in park Street or even n in salt lake. It was little dry n chewy instead of tender and juicy. 2. Chicken steak was quite below average given the price tag comes with it. Again it was dry and flaky. I had better experience in many other cafe. 3. Chelo kebab ..well it's my fault that I expected it to be good like chelo kebab in Peter cat or mocambo. It's not even near to the standard of these restaurants. It's awful. Normal thick rice was used , kebab was very dry. It's like dal chawal rice was used in chelo kebab.. never even try this item. 4. Caramel custard is really awesome and quite delicious. One shud definitely order for this dessert if u r unsure of any other. Ginger lemonade is something different and one can try this. I liked it. And lemon soda was good too.Heard chocolate brownie is also good but I will give it a try next visit. However prices of these dishes are charged to a level of any cafe or restaurant in park Street. So why not go kpark Street than this. One thing I must say about their service is that they are extremely polite, services are really fast(may be due to the lunch time only 2-4 people were there but still it's fast. Ambience is really good.. If u do not have time to go out of salt lake then one can visit here. But at the end of the day, food quality matters which they are lagging behind given t prices they charge. It has got over 4 ratings, there must be other many items which are good which I would try in near future time.

While service and atmosphere was good, food itself was average. We only tried omelette so not fair to comment on the whole menu but omelettes were nothing special. Good cafe, neat and clean. Good ambient music. Food is mehh. The sandwich I ordered was extremely dry. The chicken inside was thready. There wasn’t much seasoning . The caramelised onions inside which were cut so big, that was difficult to eat through. Change the chef or actually supervise! The coffee is good, but then it’s out of the Machine. So it’s difficult to get it wrong. I will probably go back but for the atmosphere, not the food.

This place is fantastic but what's more worth visiting is their story being selected as a case study in IIM C.I have been fan of this place since it's inception, maybe due to the name or the menu, God Knows!! Visited today with my best friend, stayed for around 2hours with food and pending gossips. It's spacious and well lit, they have books to read (thats something I love), ambience is perfect for a date/friend/family outing. Prices are reasonable. Also, they are maintaning social distancing, at the entrance you need to sanitize. Good work C64!! A proud fan😍

A great initiative to bring out Calcutta Cafe flavour, I must acknowledge that. A place where people can come, chill out, have good food, sweet desserts and yes, the beverages, coffee, tea, which are cheaper than CCD. We had a few dishes like Pink Sauce Pasta, Chicken and chips, Schezwan Baby Corn fry, Brownie with ice cream toppings. Loved them 💗💗💗💗 Ambience was a bit noisy and the TV showed Animal Planet live, which compelled me to cut one star out of this review. Otherwise all is well 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 Do visit it if you wish to experience it, and I too hope to visit it again.

Quite little Cafe. Spacious but air conditioned therefore take due care. The menu is continental and in addition to coffees, teas and beverages, they also have a selection of soups, sandwiches, salads etc.

It was a good experience overall. The sizzler is a good one, one of the better one in kolkata. It smells nice. It looks also nice. Cold coffy with ice cream misses topping. It looks average. Caramel frappe was average and would have been better if the sweetness quotient is low.

This place has the best food at the cheapest rates. Want a pizza? Come here. Want some dessert? Come here. Want some coffee? Just visit this place. It also has a live band stand and some books for lone wolfs. They play all kinds of music including K-Pop which is a very rare sight. The service is nice and smooth. We tried the bbq chicken, pizza, burger, fish and chips, fish in oyster sauce and sizzler chicken.. we also had some coffee. All in all a good place to relax and enjoy.

Extremely well maintained cafe! The moment you enter Cal 64, a smell of freshly brewed coffee hits you.. it hits you so hard that you will end up ordering a coffee even if you are not a Coffee Lover (like me!!!) Being a Monday, I thought it will not be crowded but it was! I usually prefer a quite, private sitting area but could not find such a place for two of us.. STILL NO COMPLAINTS! The service was quick, and cause it was Independence Day, the restaurant was a tad crowded. The AC could have worked better, it was pretty warm inside. This used to be an excellent cafe as far as taste and quality of food is concerned. But now after the pandemic, this is undoubtedly a huge letdown and a waste of money. Earlier I loved the sandwiches and chicken steaks they served. Now the sandwiches have become bland, the fried reek of old oil and the pasta is just murdered in a sauce of sour tomato. Overall, avoidable except the decor and quick service

Italian fare is amazing here. Tried the lasagna, fish & chips, creamy chicken &mushroom toast and cold coffee. The lasagna and cold coffee were awesome. Toast and fish&chips were a bit chewy. But service and atmosphere were truly very enjoyable. In all, it was a wonderfully refreshing experience.

My first ever visit to a cafe. It serves top notch food within a somewhat reasonable price. Tried the Fish n Chips & mexican pizza, which turned out way better than we could have wished for.

It was a let down experience, especially the service. The people were so busy listening the music that we had to remind them twice about the drinks, and finally we left without eating one of the dishes. And cherry on the top was that they didn't even bother to ask us to stay. The food was average, nothing to mention specifically, you get what you pay. Ambience is good which you might already felt reading the other reviews, especially if you are live music lover. We might have visited again to give them one more chance but since we were visiting Kolkata, we didn't have the time.

Have been a diligent customer of Calcutta 64 I am really sad to say that their quality has degraded. Today they served us food made beforehand and just microwaved. First we complained about the pasta bread which was stale and cold, then we were served fresh. The pasta was cold and microwaved. The little effort that they took. Then we ordered sandwich was also came within 5 min of ordering as usual microwaved and not fresh. It turned cold within seconds Didn't expect this quality from Calcutta 64 since have always loved this place. But yes, I'll not visit this outlet anymore. Noone wants to pay and get stale food.

So we went there this evening. Ordered garlic bread, chicken herb and garlic sandwich, Fish steak in peri peri sauce, mochachino and hazelnut coffee. Garlic bread was totally not worth the price, tasteless actually and too dry. The sandwich was okay. Fish fillet in peri peri sauce was way too too spicy. The coffee was good both of them. However, I wanted something in chocolate flavour, the waiter suggested mochachino and I did not find and chocolate flavour to the taste, but taste was good enough anyway. The ambience is nice and pocket friendly as well. Good for casual evening hangout.

Loved the strawberry milkshake and the fish and chips. Awesome barbeque chicken sandwich. Fish fingers were also good. Garlic bread not that cheesy. Awesome experience, good ambience. Would love to visit again. Not that pricy. However, do check the menu and rates before going (through Zomato), if price conscious. It has an outside sitting arrangement as well, but not that preferable.

The rooms are very spacious, elegant and exquisite. Comfortable bedding and the extra sitting spaces are perfect to enjoy a view of the Parliament building and watch it glow in the night while relaxing with your friends and family. The food is also great and the room service is absolutely on time and well mannered staff. This is surely a place I'd recommend to anyone who has work in the area nearby and wishes to put up at a super comfortable spot.

Loved the dining experience here! In coffee, we tried mocha frappe, americano and a cappuccino. All of those were very good in quality and taste. In food we tried, bbq chicken burger, chicken lasagna, chello kebab and an oriental fish steak. Every item were fresh, tasty and the portion size is good in all of them. Locationwise, very good and easy to find, walking distance from CC1. Staffs were courteous and the ambience is nice. And all these for quite a pocket-friendly price. I even got a nice discount for Zomato pro! So, a thumbs up for this place!

Went for a Sunday lunch. It was recommended by quite a few friends. Didn't disappoint at all. The place is always buzzing with life, accompanied by scrumptious lip smacking delights. Apart from your regular caffeinated beverages, there's a lot of options wn it comes to sizzlers specifically. We tried the peri peri fish one. We also tried the prawns and to finish off, we had the brownie sizzler! Was a lil disappointed in the pie though. price point is a medium. Service excellent. Food exceptional! Visited 1st time after the renovation. Has Oriental Pizza and and C64 Chicken Wings ( 8 Pieces ). That is enough to fill your hunger completely. The Chicken wings were great actually. The Chicken pieces were quite big. Coming to the pizza, it's thin crust. Tastes great.

The location is one of the strength of this cafe. I must admit that the ambience is good, I mean it has a cafe vibe. The reason I couldn't give 5 star is because of the quality of the food. I'm not saying it's bad that definitely not upto the mark. We ordered 1 Pepper Butter prawn (that was the only dish we really enjoyed), 1 BBQ Chicken Burger, 1 single portion Fish & Chips, 1 Mexican Sizzler (Paneer), 1 latte, 1 vanilla ice cream and 1 Lemon Iced Tea. Unfortunately, the BBQ Chicken Burger lacked BBQ flavour, in the Fish & Chips they didn't use Kolkata Vetki although 1 piece of Fish & Chips was priced at 220 inr. The Mexican style paneer sizzler was quite spicy but on the other hand it was bland. We were so confused with the flavours of that sizzler. And last but not the least the Lemon Iced Tea (I forgot to take a picture) was made from premix packet. A cafe serving premix Iced Tea was really shocking. Overall the food experience wasn't satisfying at all. I had high hopes from that place but except one dish every other dish lacked the taste. Hope they improve themselves in future. Best wishes

This cafe cum restaurant belongs to a Bengali youtuber. After 2 and a half years I went there recently. The food I had before was really good. On a recent visit we ordered C64 chicken wings, Funghi pasta, Fish and chips, Mexican grilled chicken pizza, Watermelon mojito, Hazelnut frappe. I was quite disappointed with fish and chips. Watermelon mojito was only flavoured not real juice. The atmosphere of the place was good. Service was a bit slow, maybe due to the rush.

Perfect place to hangout with your friends. Great ambiance to have long adda sessions with some delicious options. What I love the most is the wide range of beverages they offer. Strawberry lemonade is my all time favourite!

The experience here was amazing. It has great ambience. The staffs are good and nice hospitality by the personnels. Perfect views, good coffee and food items to taste and enjoy. It is Highly recommend to visit.

The atmosphere & the location is great. The pizza was not up to the mark but one should try fish fry items here. It’s pretty good

The food is amazing. The fish and chips is one of the best ones in the city. The sizzler was avg it was good but could be better. And the kit kat shake was freaking mind-blowing
