They have multiple branches all over Kolkata and we went to the Gariahat one. The place is not big but the servers are very welcoming and helpful. There is an outdoor seating area as well. We had ordered frappe and one 8th day special coffee, they were good. In food we ordered falafal tacos, extremely tasty and a must try I would say. We took bagel sandwich as well which was not that great. Overall a good experience. One note: People do sit there with their laptop and even if they are alone they occupy a four seater. The management should look into it as sort it out.

It’s a great cafe to hangout with friends and family. The food tastes delicious. They brew their own coffee. Must try their hot chocolate, it’s the best. The price is average. The service is okay and the staff is courteous and polite. The decor and ambiance is nice. You can also buy candles,fridge magnets etc. as mementos.

Quaint little cafe serving amazing brews and great food ! Found this place crowded on a weekday evening too which is a good sign Loved the cold brew, mocha shake and mango cheesecake the most ! They have interesting brews and something on the menu for everyone . Try it out when u are in salt lake area

While the Patisserie items were good and so were the coffee and shakes, shakshouka was a total disaster. We were delighted to see it look great, better than most of the authentic ones I've tried before. But the taste was such a letdown that I couldn't get myself to try any other cooked item. It tasted like masala bhaji. The cafe itself is good. The ambiance is that of any typical cafe. They do brew from coffee beans if that's your thing.

Absolutely pathetic and horrendous experience. I had ordered for a takeaway of 3 items. They made me wait for half an hour and still forgot to pack one item which was a bagel. I had to go back again. Even worse is, the bagel was rotten and had fungus growing on it. All those flashy decor amounts to nothing if you sell decomposed food. Would NEVER EVER suggest this place to anyone.

This is a very nice place near Gariahat. I have been there for a small brunch and stuffs were very friendly. Although I knew the food was really great but somehow I didn't like the taste of cheese omlet. Hopefully I have liked the coffee over there. I'll definitely visiting the place again. The atmosphere is really nice and the location is good too. They have many different options as well which I would love to try in future.

Good little cafe off Southern Avenue. Their nitro cold brew and Jatin Bagchi Sandwich are very good. Ambience is well designed with a lot of beautiful art work which is also up for sale. Will go back to try more items when in Kolkata.

Had heard a lot about this place and so finally dropped by here ! Well got to indulge in a delicious cup of fine coffee while immersing myself in a nice & cozy ambience. This is a perfect place to enjoy all-day breakfast as well. The menu is quite interesting and such good options which you will love for sure if you happen to be a coffee lover! The food options are also quite good . Well had a good time here and not to forget the staff was friendly and service was good.

As a coffee lover the Hand brewed iced coffee , turned out to be a hit for me... accompanied with the tortilla . The tea that we had also ordered was superb as 1st flush are supposed to be like. The overall ambience was good . Liked the cafe. Neat and clean. Well mannered and co-operative young staff.

All food r not that good. Coffee was just warm. Had to tell to reheat. Bagel pizza was uncooked. Wraps and sandwiches are good. Cold coffe was also good. Service should be improved. It's slow.

This is a chain of cafes in Kolkata which has made a name for itself lately. I visited the outlet near Rabindra Sarovar. We needed to wait out for an hour and during the brief period only had the opportunity to have a meagre tasting. So the thing that pops out at first sight is the decor. It looks plush with its lighting and decor & makes the limited seating look quite comfortable. The place gives one a pleasant whiff of freshly ground coffee and bakeries upon walking in. We had black coffee and it was just the way I like it. We ordered some sausages, but they could only serve 2 pieces. Alas! But the 2 pieces we had were nicely prepared, although I do like a bit spicier variations of that. Overall satisfied and will need to try out a few more things.

Excellent place to have your breakfast. Just go and visit the place is really happening with some good quality breakfast served. Also loved the personal care done while ordering of food and leaving the place. Also their coffee tasted awesome.

This is near lake kalibari just beside the Banana Leaf. Food is really good and tasty. We ordered shakshuka, garlic bread, cappuccino, honey and banana waffle

Had a very nice lunch here. A delicious simple latte and a breakfast fry. The only downside was the chicken sausage(x2) in the fry, they weren't very nice and they were dry. Everything else was top notch and I'd come here again!

Just another average Café in Southern Avenue. Nothing much to write home about. Coffee is below average (had a pour over which was way over extracted and not suited to using for a pourover) The cinnamon roll was a sugar bomb. Overly sweet with a thick layer/glaze of icing sugar. The Chicken and Brocolli Quiché was more a pie. Not bad. The whole wheat bagel was excellent though and highly recommended. Pricing is reasonable. Just wish the food/coffee was better.

The location is really nice and the ambience of the restaurant has a cool vibe. They have outside sitting option so it is a good thing for smokers and people coming with their pets 🐶🐕. We ordered cappuccino and lemongrass t. Both were really nice and the quantity is also sufficient. However the falafel Baghel was not up to the mark and we did not like it 😔. They have a lot of indoor games like scrabble thumbola cards etc.

Nice and cosy place. Food quality is average. The quality of coffee is not up to the mark. All the staff are humble and friendly. You have to wait in rush hour. They accept off and on line payment. According to me it's an average coffee shop.

Had apple pie ( cupcacke shaped) and simple cuppaccino .....the cuppacinno was expensive around 200rs ,apple pie 120rs ....apple pie was good but expected bigger slice of pie ...seating arrangement was good (in AC) and outside without AC with smoking ....it becomes crowded in the evening ,had to wait for some time before we could get seat

A great cafe with great coffee. Super service. The watermelon cooler with mint is also my favourite from this place. However, you might face a bit of problem to find a seat here during rush hours. There are many young lads who would just take a coffee, open their laptop for showoff and do nothing but spend 3 hours. That needs to be checked during the rush hours. There is a smoking zone outside where you can sit with your coffee too. And yes, do not miss out the merchandise that is up there for sales.

A perfect place to unwind after a fulfilling jog at Dhakuria Lake. The food tastes quite healthy and the coffee is great, although it's not too easy on the pocket. It's doubles up a great work-cafe too, and you'll find tonnes of people on weekdays working with their laptops and sipping out of a cup of their delicious coffee.

Visited this for the second time and was beautifully kept amidst the second wave. The interior was very well maintained and the staff ensured proper hygiene protocols were in place. The chicken Caesar salad was amazing in taste. The whole wheat bagel bread with chicken quiche pie was yummy. The focaccia bagel pizza with red velvet shake was delicious. The cappuccino coffee had separate sugar so it was perfect. Waiters wore masks and hand sanitizer was kept at every table.

A very nice European kinda ambiance with soulful background music... Loved the decor... Not too thick not too thin... Lovely coffee beans they have got from Coorg (as told by one of them)... The barista art is nice... Food is really good... We took salad which was still crunchy and NOT swimming in the dressing... Loved both the texture and the quantity... Though it required a bit more of seasoning... One good warning, if you are ordering Americano, ask them not to dilute it like a the holy river... For me it was too much diluted... Otherwise a big 👍 from me...

This time I felt Google reviews can be misleading. I’m perplexed how this pace scores a high on customer service and food quality. Pros - convenient location in Southwest Avenue and chic ambiance that’s pretty inviting. Cons - Service is slow. Very slow & sloppy. Took the attendant 15 mins and 4 reminders to give a glass of water. Will not get into the details of the food service that followed. But so slow that I had to cancel my last order for a brownie. The food quality and taste didn’t match the price tag. Really overpriced. I went for the items recommended by the other food critics, and what the attendants suggested. Just average. This place is at best OK for a cuppa coffee only, if the other well known spots around this place are full. Wouldn’t visit again.

If you mean a cozy cafe, this is just the place for you ! 8th Day cafe and bakery is a small yet such a nice place to spend time with. The whole interior designing is amazing, giving off a retro vibe. Ambience is so soothing. Music is light. There are various kinds of tables for couples, small groups and families. I tried their sweet cappuchino and sandwich. Both were very nice. Price is a bit higher. The cafe also has a counter where you can buy their merchandise.

Food was not so happening I ordered a veg cheese sandwich which I had to dip into my coffee to eat it... it was soooooo dry... although I haven't tried anything else. Ambience wise it's good. I do wanna visit again to try something else in the menu.

The place is small and well lit. We ordered Cafe mocha and hot chocolate and a cream chees bagel. Tasted yummillicious.

The service & Ambiance was great, even the food was tasty. However, the chicken wings which were delicious in the first bite turned out to be stale chicken. Very smelly. Something that stale automatically is a turn off. Hence deducted 2 stars. But every restaurant has a bad day. It must be a bad batch. But since we went for brunch and it was only the first half of the day, stale food is disappointing. Would recommend the brand to be more careful about it. All the best to the team!

The place is amazing to spend some quality time with friends and family. We ordered one Oreo Shakes and one Velvet Shakes and both tasted good. Outside sittings are also available.

Loved the ambience - cozy, chic and classy. Perfect place to rewind and chill coupled with the courteous service by all the staff. They kept checking on the quality of food and greeted. We tried the simple latte, chamomile tea and mushroom Quiche and enjoyed each of them. Must try!

Great cafe near Southern Avenue. They have great coffees and snacks. The place is always full of regular patrons and usually busy with some waiting time. The service is good, the staff courteous, however, the service wait time is a little long. Would recommend for the good coffee. It's a great place to coffee and chill during the winter afternoons

I love this place. Very Nice environment. I ordered one buckeye i.e. a cold coffee variant and one hazelnut cappuccino which taste awesome. Love their behavior. Most interesting is 8th coffee is free for you. My recent favorite drink is cold chocolate. It's just yummy.

I met a freelancer friend here. It is a really good place for first meets and working space. I found 4-5 people already with their laptop working and drinking coffee. A quite expensive cafe but the ambience is just what you are expecting. It is great. One can come here for business meets, first meetings, casual dates, etc. I'd recommend youngsters to visit here for coffee and mocktails.
