Located at 3, Sudder St, Fire Brigade Head Quarter, New Market Area, Dharmatala, Taltala, Kolkata, West Bengal 700016, Blue Sky cafe is an unpretentious and inexpensive café on Sudder Street and is something of a landmark in the area. There is nothing remarkable about this place as far as appearances go (except that it is very crowded in the evenings), but they serve a big multicuisine spread-Continental, Indian and Chinese and a delightful assortment of shakes and fresh juice, burgers (try the chicken sunrise burger) and sandwiches. Try the classic grilled fish with lemon butter sauce or the cheese-laden chicken a la king, the boozy chocolate pudding with flame (flambéed basically) or the cheese omelette. It is best to stick to the continental fare here.

This is one of the best pocket friendly joints I have ever eaten from in Kolkata. The decor and ambience are very ordinary, but the food is out of the world. We had ordered two mugs of cold coffee and two mugs of chocolate milk shake, fish and chips and Tai Pei chicken for starters and two helpings of baked fish for main course. To top it off, we ordered two bowls of chocolate pudding with flame which was the icing on the cake. Needless to say, the staff were extremely courteous. I would love to visit this place again.

Went there this Christmas. To be honest at first we were a little doubtful about this place but after tasting there so heard about chicken lasagne all our doubts were blown up. Tge chicken lasagne was so good and cheesy with a good amount of chicken that it just melted our buds. The singapore rice noodles and hot garlic noodles were delicious as well to which the chicken dishes gave a perfect pairing. The cosy and comfortable atmosphere makes the place more lively. Perfect to hangout with groups. Wanna go there again.

Good food with an amazing variety of choices--North Indian, Italian/Continental, Chinese/Tibetan, and Thai. Many vegetarian options are available. This is a great place for breakfasts, served all day. Located near Indian Museum. Only downside is the TV at times playing horrible old Indian movies.

Whenever I go to Kolkata, Blue Sky Cafe is a must go place for me to have their various delicious items. The price of each item is affordable, their service is great. They have a big menu and almost every item is delicious. Highly recommended.

Starters were mind blowing & indeed worth eating which includes Tai pei Chicken and Drums of heaven. The taste was literally mouth melting, however this only applies for the starter. Besides the other main dish (Sanghai Chicken + Mixed Schezwan Fried rice & Butter Naan + Reshmi Chicken) were just dull neither very tasty nor tasteless. It was pretty simple not delicious. The Ambience was okay.

Had an awesome breakfast over here with my friend. Had two boiled eggs, masala omelette, one coffee, one tea, two chicken sandwich. All these for just Rs 410. It's my current favorite breakfast place.

Best Surprises Come In Small Packages!! Came to know of this place from zomato. Had the Chicken Pepper Steak. Although I was a bit uncomfortable having a 'chicken' steak, thankfully I was proved very wrong. Undoubtedly one of the best steaks I've had. Really good food. Although it's a bit small, but they make it up in the quality of food. Overall awesome experience. Looking forward to going there again!
