This a feedback about Gold of @JWMarriotHotelKolkata. Yesterday I visited this club for the first time where I thought my experience could have been better but it was actually not! We had our names on the guest list and were asked to bring ONLY our Aadhar cards for identification. Hardcopy was also not required so I had a photograph of it. Later on giving they said that my Aadhar card is fake. There are many people who do forgery but that does not mean that you harrass a customer like this who is carrying a real identity. They could have also informed to bring other documents if this was their criteria. But they refused and claimed it fake. I stay quite far and it was impossible for me to go back home and bring my Aadhar Card. Funny to say the Aadhar which they have claimed as fake has been used for my admission in college, taking COVID vaccination, generating Voter ID and PAN. Later somewhere I could find my College identity and then they allowed to enter. To be honest it was a very much insulting situation for me and the awkwardness I had to go through. I have a question for the club authorities if there would have been any big shot guest would you do the same behaviour? Did you even apologized when I proved that my Aadhar wasn't fake through my College documents? NO! Every customer is equal and just because few people do the unfair means doesn't imply that you have the right to claim the person fake who has a real identity. I am not looking forward to visit this place further. Staff behaviour and treatment are equally important as much as food.

The Gold, one of the most popular night club in the heart of the city of joy Kolkata. Gold is cosmopolitan and sleek. This the place in Where DJ Babu really Answer you Call and you can Say.. "DJ wale babu Thora gana Baja do" we had a mind boggling evening.. with a Large variety of drinks from beer to.. Whisky... To cocktail to mocktails.... Their "Long island Ice tea" was one of my favorite...

Has to be the worst Club/Pub in Kolkata. Here's how my first visit went. 1. They have a stand for VALLET PARKING.Upon asking, they asked me to park the car myself. Later, they asked my keys and handed me a slip to show the management that they vallet parked my car. 2. Has only 5 food items on menu. And 70% of the beers mentioned on menu were not available. 3. Was told they have a dedicated smoking zone, but then to my surprise, saw the people on the next table smoking on the seated table itself. Upon asking, the response was not just hilarious but also illegal, and legal actions can be taken. The response was "they are the owner of the club, so they can flaunt the rules and do whatever they want to " I asked to call the. Manager, and then i was handed an ashtray and permitted to smoke on the table. This is the condition of GOLD at JW MARRIOTT. Worst ever experience. Never visiting again or recommending anyone to. Avoid at all cost.

We were denied entry despite having our table booked for 3 of us. According to the personnel working there , the venue is booked for personal event. If it is so then why it's showing up on zomato and allowing us to get the tables booked at the first place. We had to spend 30 mins of drive to reach there and denied entry subsequently. Will be tackling the issue legally

Very crowded and very very over-priced. Very rude staff. Please avoid visiting this place. Every staff create there own hotel policies just to loot people. DO NOT VISIT.

It was my 1st time at Marriott and I had a stunning experience inside. Would definitely visit this place on near future. And am really excited to bring more friends and colleagues to join us!

J W Marriott hotel is such a very nice place to enjoy your weekend. Awesome place terrific service and delicious food. I loved each and every thing here.

Multiple creepy men approached and stared and some even turned their chairs simply to stare at my friends who were all women. Even after multiple complaints to the staff, no action was taken against them. Highly disappointing to see such a highly reputed nightclub fail to take into concern women's safety. On ladies night no less. Disgusting, shocked and appalled. Would not visit again.

Not a great place. The place is small for a night club and the drinks menu is also not that great. Quantity of alcohol served is also very less than what they serve in their lounge. Food is also above average.

Nice place. Very nice ambience and the best part is the music. The music is loud & soft but not as hard as other disc in Kolkata. There is a difference . Also the acoustic nature of the design gives a premium sound effect. Drinks and food are cheaper than other pub of similar category . Very nice place to chill out.

Nice Ambience, Great Music and Food.

Nice place but in Google details they have mentioned 18+ but one of my friend who was 19+ not get entry so this was not expected...

This is just to bring in highlight that the waiter charged us double for the cocktail, while we order one he mentioned 2 on the bill saying it was double without even asking us. Secondly we kept waiting for him to get the change he didn’t. It just shows the terrible behaviour of staffs there. The food was pathetic, we odered fried chicken that was worst.

Gold is one of the best chill and hangout spots to spend with your pals and gang. It's upscale, sleek and modern with a spin of Indian touch that reflects in the food served here.The DJ was amazing and perfect to shake a leg. Awesome vibes.Highly recommended!

Terrible experience & Pathetic Staff We visited Gold yesterday (21.5.23) and we ordered a beer. To my surprise the beer was served in a broken glass. On calling the manager it was conveyed to us that he's busy and cant turn up. We showed the glass to Mr. Subroto and later Mr. Vikas turned up to apologize.We asked for the manager again as it was a serious issue. Mr. Vikas replied that he's busy and will be here in 5 minutes. I was there for an hour or more but the manager did not bother to turn up. I really felt insulted and trust me normal lounge and cafes provide much better customer experience and make them feel good. Being a 5star hotel and charging hefty premiums on services with such casual approach and experience is JUST NOT TOLERABLE. An all time big *NO* for JW GOLD....
