The most crowded local station. Nice and clean and roadway communication is also good for regular passengers. Foot over bridge is there to cross the Station. Enough place for parking bikes and cars. In the evening it's look really nice.

It has a very beautiful natural beauty but there are some problems. The clock of the Station platform is damaged since more than two years and there is a dearth of shedding which creates problems in scorching hit of sunny days and when rains in torrents.

The Sankrail railway station in the Indian state of West Bengal, serves Sankrail, India in Howrah district. It is on the Howrah–Kharagpur line. It is 16 km from Howrah station. This place is good. Every time you can get autorickshaw and other vehicles from the sankrail station to go somewhere in sankrail. Highway is near about 5 to 10 min from sankrail station. Very calm and peaceful station in Howarh Meddinipur section. Station premices is very neat and clean. No hawkers are in the station area. Surrounding area is very beautiful. Nearby bus routes are Sankrail Amta route and Sankrail Howrah route. Nearby station bazar is very famous for fish marketing.

Sankrail junction was a nice place. When I visited the area I saw very nice and helpful people. Even the train drivers were very nice. I recommend if someone goes there they should take some time in hand so that they can also enjoy their time in sankrail.

Way to sankrail rail station from Hamaripole is very much congested due to fish market, even condition of road is also not good. Wheel chair for handicap person should be available in the platform.

The station is well connected by road ways to NH 6 to the North West and to andul road to the east. A vibrant industrial estate is near by. Dhulagori, jalan complex, champatala etc are easily accessible from this station. The station has bright future. Abada railway yard is also dependant on this station.

Water supply for public is not available on platform at evening. Sometimes people face difficulty when the platform is changed by announcement at the last moment before arrival of train.

It's an urban area and especially an industrial area with local transport systems are not too good. To go to DhulaGar MORE you have to take an auto or toto it costs you only 10 rupees to reach there.

Nice location.. but one thing that's not good is its ticket counter position. Ticket counter is located at the totally opposite side of most of the passengers come from.

Nice and beautiful railway station. A railway station is a facility that has railway tracks or lines for trains to carry passengers or goods from one place to another. There are different kinds of railways stations, some are above ground while some are underground as well. You will always see interesting sights on railways stations as they are full of life and activities.
