Beautiful and serene. Mainly known as Eco Tourism Park. Full of greenery and a big water body both are the main attraction for this park. Easily accessible from Haldiram crossing VIP Road. There is a restaurant named 'Cafe Ekante' inside the Island on the water body. There are few replica of the seven wonders inside the park. There is a light and sound show in the evening(time varies in different seasons) Different water rides and bicycles are also available inside the park. Monday remains closed. For details and advance ticket u may go through the official website.

The auditorium is very good. All equipped sound systems are world's best 'Bose'. It's perfect for less than 200 spectators, very clean and comfortable seating arrangement. Whole campus is maintained by HIDCO, it's really very clean & calm, there is a small museum and a food counter as well. Food quality is good and pricing is also moderate.

Great destination for an event. Given the landscape of Kolkata, it's Great with capital G. The architecture isn't imposing, but evenly distributed over a large piece of area that includes land and water. So, it's got a good amount of open space. And it ticks all the necessary boxes. Auditorium with great audiovisual facility. YES. Adjacent cafeteria. YES. Adjacent exhibition gallery space. YES. Adjacent places to stay, if needed. YES. And that too includes AC cottages and budget-friendly dorms. The only and significant NO is the awareness of the common people of such a nice place not very far from downtown Kolkata. The sooner they get to know about it the better. It's the future. It's New Town

Very Serene! The Aura of Gurudev Rabindra Nath Tagore truly represented by the architectural design and ambience enhanced by the sound systems playing his songs, his creation ! Mesmerizing experience for me .

A place filled with serenity, peace and the nostalgia of the great poet Rabindranath Thakur. The entry fees is Rs 20 and has lush gardens and galleries with the paintings and works of Kobiguru. There is also a small library which was closed when I visited. It also has a auditorium which has state of the art seating and sound facilities. There is also a small lake inside with seating adjacent to it which is sure to give you a calm composure and peace of mind. There is also a small eatery inside however the prices are on the higher side. The place is closed on Mondays. If place is right at the foot of the Biswa Bangla Gate and is hard to miss.

Prominent location, well manicured open space, comfortable seating and audio inside the auditorium. Decent cafeteria inside the campus. Permanent gallery on Rabindranath. Overall a nice place to relax

This is a nice place. The theatre hall is small though in comparison to the overall complex. As usual great fittings like Bose etc but lack of maintenance. Surprisingly the stage does not have any catcher. Difficult to hear the voices directly from the actors. One good thing is that there is a car parking available to the next gate. The parking is free of charge.

A not so big auditorium with a separate AC dinnig, a cafeteria (seems quite ordinary), a gallery (not a museum), always open for general visit, a garden with a pond.... the parking lot is enough for more vehicles.

This is a nice place to visit. Plenty parking place. Auditorium is quite big, it can accomodate nearly 500 people. They have good dining hall. One can hire a portion of it for picnic and get together.

I like that place for specially it's environment and it's natural beauty. Surroundings are neat and clean and spread a nice vibe. One can stay several time taking deep breath and can get heaven peace. I really love that place. Now, I can say about the auditorium that is quite and cool with approx 242 seat capacity.

Beautiful place. The museum covers every aspect of the history of Rabindranath Tagore. There is space for hosting concerts, and an auditorium as well. Food stall is available inside.

  • 5/5 Shatadeep B. 1 year ago on Google
Great place to host cultural events. There's a place for a stage, with a separate building for movies. There's ample walking space as well.

  • 5/5 Amrita S. 1 year ago on Google
Has a stage and auditorium is quite spacious, a canteen, space for arranging lunch, and decent location for clicking pictures. Great one to arrange formal events for audience ranging from 200-240.

  • 4/5 Swachchhasila B. 1 year ago on Google
Okay. Maybe it happens elsewhere too but this is the first time I witnessed such a thing. Rats running across the stage in the auditorium while a programme is on. Of course, it wasn't a cultural programme, it had mostly people talking and a few songs. Yet The washroom is too far away from the auditorium, difficult for senior citizens and infirm people. Didn't use it, so not aware of how it is. Acoustics is good. AC good. Surroundings clean.

Beautiful ambience. The auditorium is perfect with excellent lighting and sound system. But sitting capacity is limited

  • 3/5 Joyeeta D. 1 year ago on Google
Went for a program to honour Tagore. The hall is a small one. It is good for functions held for small audiences. Green room and backstage space is very less. Acoustics is good.

  • 3/5 Anindita Biswas R. 1 year ago on Google
Location wise too good, auditorium is good too but issue is with the management and staffs. Green-rooms aren't properly air-conditioned. Staffs are like typical government employees, reluctant to work. The cafe too has an issue of cash only payment. If these issues improve, Rabindratirtha could be better.
