One of the most non happening mall is kolkata. More than half of the stalls are non operational. Construction work keeps happening here year round. People rarely come here. Very obscure location. People only come here for SVF cinema hall. Just two restaurants are here, they are really struggling to make money. There is no concept of food cour here. If you want to spend some time alone then this place is best for you, else don't come here. Parking for bike is 15 inr and 4 wheeler is 20 inr for unlimited time. Which is a good thing.

Based at Narendrapur opposite the Ramakrishna Mission school is a newly built, rather renovated mall by the NSC Bose Road. There were earlier situated the very famous Big Bazaar which is now known as the Reliance Smart Bazaar. They also have SVF movie complex on the third floor which has 3 screens. The screens and seating capacity are small but of good quality. The seating arrangements outside the movie theatre is inadequate since people have to wait before entering into the hall. The washroom facilities are good both inside the movie theatre and outside. some of the art posters about Kolkata are quite impressive which adds value to the decoration of the mall. food court is very well decorated with a good seating capacity and a number of available restaurants where different main course food, snacks and beverages are served prior booking through cards. We ordered chicken sweet corn soup, fish finger, egg roll among which soup was good, dig finger and roll were quite average. Compared to the quality the prices were more. However, the ambience attracts a lot of people to have close chit chat and spend quality time. Outside the mall also, there are few food and tea stalls. With autos and buses the same is well connected with Baruipur, Rajpur and Garia and Kavi Najrul Metro station wherefrom one can reach this place at ease.

This shopping complex is near my home and in a good location @Narendrapur Sherwood housing society. This complex housed Big bazaar for a long time but as the business plummeted and the franchise had to sell itself to reliance, the shopping complex was quite empty. But recently after the acquisition of reliance this is now termed as Reliance smart Bazaar and slowly they are getting back that old customer base. It also has Svf multiplex on the 3rd floor and a great restaurant "flavours" apart from that some construction work is going on too and at the top floor there is open terrace gaming for soccer which can be accessed by prior booking for both day and night matches. At the ground floor there is a Khadim shoe store which has been present since the inception of this building. A good hangout spot in the evening especially during the weekends.

Went here after a long time. After the Big Bazaar closed here, the food court, Hunger Square also closed. Now Smart Bazaar has opened here in place of Big Bazaar. Also, Hunger Square has reopned. The CCD has now been taken over by Flavours and moved upstairs instead of ground floor. But happy to see Wood Square Mall again coming back to life. 😊

Underdeveloped mall in the Narendrapur area. I've been here several times and I've never seen a crowd here, even on weekends or holidays. People just visit this place for the PVR and the Smart Bazar for groceries. The mall doesn't have a lot of stores either. Just reeks of emptiness, like my social life.

Nice place to watch movies at a reasonable price or shop your groceries. Apart from that, the mall does offer nothing very exciting options. For people staying in the tollygunj to baruipur stretch, this is the only mall .... so, the option to compare with similar malls does not arise

It's a shopping mall as you know buddy, and other thing is svf is there, so you can come here and do some shopping and can watch movies in multiplex. Also a tattoo senter is there and also a khadims show room. Overall awesome place. There are many foods stall outside there. And you can park your car here. It's located in Narendrapur, so you can come by metro ( kavi najrul) , via train and also by Bus. 🥰

The mall is adjacent to Sherwood Estate; one of our premiere residential projects, with 1200 apartments. Also close to other housing complexes such as Sugam Park, Dream Park and Nilachal Complex - Wood Square allows you access to a captive market of about 2000 families, each with a modern mindset and lifestyle needs. On the other side of the road is Narendrapur Ramakrishna Mission, a huge and famous residential school and college. The college crowd will love a movie here, or a quick bite for a change, building up the daily footfall here to enviable levels. The mall area is a mix user zone - institution, retail, commercial and residential with a dominance of high street retail market.

The mall is quiet small, I mean it doesn't have much stores. Only JioMart and Trends is only thing you'll see. Good Basement parking ( Charges Applied) . The Best thing the mall has is it's rooftop turf for football. Rates for 5a Side Ground - 1400 without Lights - 1800 with Lights Rates for 7a Side Ground - 1800 without Lights - 2400 with Lights Opens 11AM- 10:30PM Everyday

It's barely a mall. They are almost no branded shop, it's all gloomy with most stores boarded up. You will also find a deserted food court that doesn't instill any confidence in trying the food there. There are two levels of underground car parking, the passageway to the parking is very tight although it's almost always empty so there's that.

Very small shopping mall... But its the only one easily accessible to the people of baruipur sonarpur... Not bad for a sudden unplanned coffee-date and movie show.

"Wooden Square Mall is a fantastic destination with a charming atmosphere and diverse shops. The wooden aesthetics add a unique touch, making it a delightful place to shop and explore!"

It is a true shopper's paradise. Whether you're seeking a day of retail therapy, a delicious meal, or simply a place to unwind, this mall has it all. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a well-rounded and enjoyable shopping experience.

Went there for playing football in turf which is located in the top floor. The grass quality is good and playing there is fun. Price is also quite affordable. Only on Thursday's i think their rate is 90or100 per head otherwise on normal days it is 190-200. Do call them before booking and grab the best deal!!

Halls are decent. Screen size is pretty small. You'll feel like watching on a 70 80 inch screen tv. However, 3D picture quality is worse. Would not recommend to watch movies in 3D here. It's a multiplex with quite cheap tickets and food.

With big bazaar ceasing to exist, the footfall has visibly decreased here. However, some of the stores here like gift store, reliance trends and other ethnic clothing store, it is a good shopping destination. Hopefully the upcoming smart bazaar will revive it's footfall.

The mall really needs a lot of work, the store needs more work in learning how to greet and treat people properly. The Trend shop upstairs has a horrible manager who keeps doodling behind you and asking you what do you want, what do you want and if you don't buy he says sir please exit from the side gate just outside beside the main exit gate as in to make you feel guilt for not buying anything. Need to improve all these for sure

This is just fine place.....the mall has reliance trends store, and 3-4 other local clothing stores. And yes on the 2nd floor there's is SVF cinemas, screen quality isn't that good but one can go there for a time pass who lives near by.

Good place for marketing specially in smart Bazaar, numerous other shops but people is less, icecream shop, restaurant are available but not that much crowded. Scope for improvement exist.

At Rs 99 per ticket you get to lean back on the comfortable couch that screen 3 of svf cinemas provide you and watch a movie as if you were at home.. wonderful.

A nice mall at the outskirts of Kolkata, with good food options, dress houses, a nice, small cinema hall. The security staffs posted here are little bit impertinent and deceitful, otherwise a warm experience.

Wood square Mall is now known "smart bazar". Wood square Mall is situated Narendrapur. That is a good place and also available svf cinema hall, trends men and woman and food court etc.

A pretty comfy little mall. Perfect for close by weekend hangouts and movie outings. Also the movie hall of SVF here is pretty decent and economical. Only downside is that there is no proper food court within the mall as such and the quality of the foods are pretty average. Also there's no good restaurant nearby except for some Street food joints.

The charm is missing .....when i compare it to time back. Many shops r closed and main attraction Big Bazaar is also under renovation

  • 3/5 Antim B. 11 months ago on Google
I would say its not a big shopping mall. There are shops inside the mall till 1st floor. In the second floor you will find food court and SVF cinemas. So, you can definitely visit and but it does not have wide variety of shops inside. There are few food stalls outside the building and you can sit there and have some snacks.

  • 4/5 Sejuti R. 1 year ago on Google
It has calm and serene atmosphere. Earlier bigbazar used to be here, nowadays reliance attracts people in place of it. Stores like Trends have huge clothing and accessories collection in this mall. One cannot go from here without visiting the variety of small boutiques . Comparing with food courts of other malls in Kolkata, here's is average one. Instead SVF cinemas are well equipped with pocket-friendly tickets for movie lovers.

Wood Square Mall is located adjacent to my home and I love to visit there for shopping frequently. The shops are well equipped and the employees are customer friendly and helpful. Khadim is my favourite destination for shoe shopping and Smart Bazar is adequately stocked to satisfy my requirements of groceries and frozen items. I sometimes go to watch movies in Wood Square Mall. The tickets are very reasonably priced and the snacks are fresh and delicious.

Situated near Narendrapur Ramkrishna Mission... Mall is little bit small compared to others.. Food court is good but options are limited..and construction work is still going on so probably more will be added.. Cinematic experience is good ..screen is small in comparison but quality is good . Reliance smart bazar is there.. Screen 1 is something special due to their seating..(only 2D). Screen 2 is 3D.. 10 minutes from Kamalgazi more..From Sonarpur station auto is available..

Shopping mall is good, but somewhat out of locality. It's situated just opposite of Ramakrishna Mission, Narendrapur.

Not a great mall to shop if you're looking for big brands. But has a great movie theatre (svf) offering budget friendly cinema and food experiences.

  • 4/5 Abhishek B. 1 year ago on Google
One restaurant is there.. Food court was shut down. Evacuation system is not good, especially lifts are too tiny. Two tier parking lots are there, so parking spaces are enough. Overall average Mall for weekend hangout.
