One of the best Pure Veg restaurant in Kolkata and surely the best around Ballygunj. The food is just awesome, finger licking and the cost is quite reasonable. The service is also very good. They also deliver for bulk order.

One of the best vegetarian restaurant in Kolkata. The taste of all kind of foods are just delicious. We have ordered crispy baby corn chilli for starter which is best I have eat till now. And the stuffed Jodhpuri dum aaloo and stuffed Malai Paneer are just mouth uttering. Never expected the vegetarian dishes will be so good in taste as I am a hardcore non vegetarian but this restaurant sits on top for vegetarian dishes. I will definitely come here when I have cravings for veg dishes from next time. Last but not the least please try Tuti Fruti from desert is just delicious and awesome. Must recommend.

It's a nice family veg restaurant. Interior is good comfortable seats and quiet spacious place. Coming to food we had ordered soup starter and main course. One soup was cream of broccoli which tastes good. Starter paneer tikka, kebab was good too. Methi matar malai and breads is also nice. Overall food is good. Will visit again...😊✌️

The service is exceptionally great but a tiny bit slow. They ask if you want onion garlic in the food or not beforehand. The ambience is quite good. We ordered Nargis kofta which was too sweet for my liking but others enjoyed it. The jodhpuri aloo dum was ok ok as well. We also ordered dragon rol for starters but it was quite average and very less in quantity. The masala kulcha tasted really good but unfortunately didn't go with the curries I ordered, Butter naan was better suited with them. Virgin mohito was the star of the dining experience. It was immensely flavourful. We ordered baked rasgulla for dessert and It definitely satisfied my sweet tooth. Others felt that the dessert and Nargisi kofta treated quite similar which was kinda true. Overall it was an nice experience. But the food can definitely be better.

Loved the food. We had a party with 16 t0 17 persons. The food was delicious & served to us directly . 4 stars to that. 1 star I wouldn't give reasoning the services are slow...LIKE REALLY REALLY SLOW !! Which is surprisingly offensive because they were paying heed to clearing our doubts on or or by what time will the food arrive. Else the food is delicious & good hence it's a place I would like to Eat again !!

I visited this place for the first time in Feb and it's one of the best vegetarian restaurants that I've visited! The taste is top-notch, with excellent service and pleasant music. The staff is courteous and receptive to specific instructions to the dish. Thoroughly enjoyed my dinner with family. Will definitely visit again the next time I'm in Kolkata!

Saatvik is located near Paddmapukur. A very calm and peaceful area. This restaurant has ample seating area available and you can easily take large groups and families here. . . Coming to food. I ordered 2 starters. Bell pepper cottage cheese and cheese corn kebabs. The cottage cheese is paneer and it had flavours of chilly chicken. The paneer was super soft and no complaints taste wise. The best one was corn cheese kebab. It was really delicious and soft. In main course I ordered Roti ki Tokri, Dal Makhani, Chilly Garlic Noodles and Mixed Stir fried Vegetables. The Roti ki Tokri was really good, both quality and quantity wise having 5 type of rotis. Dal Makhani tasted different from the usual ones. The noodles were delicious and so were the Vegetables side dish. . . The staff was friendly and professional. Proper hygiene was maintained and sanitisation was done. . . A must visit definitely 💯

This is a pure vegetarian restaurant in the lane opposite to Laxmi Narayan temple and near to the Gujarati Samaj bhavan in Kolkata with delicious cuisine and a wonderful ambience. The menu is vast and will probably suit most of the people who come here. Go ahead and enjoy yourselves.

I recently visited Saatvik in Bhowanipur and had a delightful experience. The ambiance is inviting, and the pure vegetarian menu is a breath of fresh air. I'd give a 4 coz they no doubts prepare some really awesome food when it comes to Indian options they have but Italian is not so great. Quite good ambience, they also a small hall for parties, get togetherz or lil celebrations with around 25-30 people. Well coming to price I.e also grt, not costly just average like we were 7of us and it costed us only near about 2000 which is quite quite reasonable. On Saturdays Sundays there is waiting so even after booking u need to wait a little.

The food has a good taste and the presentation is beautiful. Service is friendly and accomodating. Atmosphere was vibrant and bit noisy. Sitting is comfortable and clean.

Food was completely saatvik. A complete vegetarian destination for healthy food. However instead of only vegetables for these dishes , dry fruits could have been added for little more as delicacy. Service was super.

Awesome place. If u r vegetarian and want a good get-together then this is the place to be! Right from ambience to food quality to service, all was awesome. They have option for Jains as well. we were 6 people and a kid, we had a good dinner and the cost to pocket was about 3k. The only con maybe that there is no separate wash basin (its in washroom only) and their dessert menu is limited. But still there are a lot nearby icecream parlours.

Paneer tikka was raw , pasta was full of oil. Garlic bread was having like plain bread topped with cheese. Dal makhani was too sweet. Had too wait too long for repeat breads. Pathetic service and very rude staff. Overall the food was not that good.

Went for a medical conference cum lunch... the starters were awesome, the lunch was also reasonably good. !! improvement that they can do is not to use the same / similar gravy for all the dishes. Each dish has & should have its unique and distinctive aroma & taste, which is preserved and presented only possible if cooked separately . Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Service boys & gate staff are quite well trained & courteous. Recommended visit with family & and friends !

Pathetic Experience. We pre booked the restaurant for 11 people with an advance of ₹3000 and yet we had to sit on separate tables. If you can't manage reservations don't take such hefty charges for it. Although the staff was well behaved the food quality was normal, sub-par and nothing special. For a pure veg restaurant, I had better expectations. Cleanliness - 1/5. Cockroaches were roaming on the table. Food- 3/5. Ordinary. Overall a very bad experience.

The restaurant is located within the inner roads , where there are no many shops around. The ambient is really cool. The food is really tasty. The waiters are courteous enough to manage the guests. They cook Indian and Chinese. Starters are of great taste. I enjoyed my lunch thoroughly.

Just another upmarket (read expensive) vegetarian eatery (no, not a restaurant) with an in house bread factory (no, again, not a bakery) serving a motley cusine comprising of Indian Vegetarian, Indian Jain Vegetarian, Chinese Vegetarian and Continental Vegetarian fare. The items are not all that good tasting, considering that there are eateries in the vicinity offering better tasting stuff at lower prices. The word Saatvik in Sanskrit means pure and hermit like, but stuff here are neither "pure" (the same kitchen serving onion-garlic also serving supposedly Jain Vegetarian stuff) nor hermit like (items priced with profit in mind) and such. Amenities like a conference room and the in house bread factory does not serve any useful purpose a.f.a.i.k. This place is for yuppy meetings and family lunch - dinners for people coming to visit Kolkata. Far from casual snacking stuff, usual with restaurants. Outside, parking is a nightmarish experience with one single lane left for vehicles to pass and the rest of the street taken over by cars parked by local residents. I would recommend this place only if you are vegetarian, really really hungry and are moving around with really deep pockets.

The food was average, we heard such great reviews that we couldn't resist and we decided to have lunch out there. Lacha parantha was not at all lacha parantha and butter paneer was average only the paneer inside was very soft and fresh but cheese naan was normal naan with a pinch of cheese on it, I have had so many cheese naans from various restaurants and dhabha this was the worse one.
