Bombay shiv sagar is one of the finest pure veg restaurants in Kolkata, which I think is bliss for vegetarians. The food was explicitly good in taste and also in quantity. Items that we tried were: Manchow / Tomato soup: the soup was just okay. Chinese bhel: We loved every bit of it. MUST TRY!! Paneer tikka: It felt like the softness of paneer and hardness of Vegetables. French Fries: Crispy and salted. Baby Corn paneer chilly: Crispy like the Classical Chinese with the sauce! Dal makhani: The taste buds will love the flavors of dal and kidney beans, the richness of the butter, and the cornucopia of spices all at the same time. Cheese Garlic Naan/ Butter Naan: Smooth. Malai kofta, masala papad etc.. About the restaurant: Staff: Ample number of staff to assist. Sitting arrangement: Tables were clean but a bit congested out there. Game: There were two games for the kids to enjoy near the entrance gate. It’s a MUST TRY AND VISIT restaurant, if you are in KOLKATA and hardcore chinese lover.

Superb Food... Best North Indian cuisine in Kolkata. Food quality, service, everything is perfect. Best for snacks, Street food, Italian & North Indian recipes especially for pure vegetarian people. Go there and you won't regret it.

One of the best 100% vegetarian restaurants in Kolkata is called Bombay Shiv Sagar, which I believe is a vegetarian's paradise. Both the quality and amount of the food were excellent. The things we tested were: Manchow / tomato soup: the soup was only merely passable. Chinese bhel: It was delicious in every way. SHOULD TRY!! It had the softness of paneer and the firmness of vegetables, like paneer tikka. Crispy and salty French fries. Crispy like the traditional Chinese with sauce, baby corn paneer cold! Dal makhani: The tastes of dal and kidney beans, the richness of the butter, and the abundance of spices all work together to delight the palate. Smooth Cheese Garlic/Butter Naan. such as masala papad and malai kofta.

Owing to their pocket friendly pricing and cherishable food, Bombay Shiv Sagar is quite a common name among Vegetarian Families and college students. They ain't new, having undergone a whole revamp some years back, this casual dining restaurant serves Indian and Chinese cuisines as well as fast food. Justifing their name, you can dwell in their Bombay classical street food like Chaat, Bhel, Pav Bhaji! The tangy Chinese Bhel and the different kinds of Pav Bhaji is what makes them famous along with the more classical Chinese dishes like Babycorn Chilli and Chilli Potato!

So yesterday it was my birthday and because of restaurant's name and popularity I went there with my friend But that turned out to be the most regrettable moment for my day as we were half way through our food (hyderabadi biryani) we found a dead cockroach in it It was really a big disappointment and mood ruiner moment after that we left the food and asked for the bill but they refused as it could have been used to file complaint or case against them It's a real fear for any person specially for someone who prefers pure veg food It raises questions for credibility and hygienic responsibility of the restaurant I'm sure they don't even care about that as they do not care about how food is being prepared with proper hygiene or not I would never suggest someone to go there even for a glas of water

It's a great restaurant with wonderful ambiance on first floor of the buliding.. There was moderate crowd by around 7.30pm for dinner and it gradually increased eventually. Most of the tables were occupied. Had to wait for 5 minutes to get the table. Starters (Chinese Bhel, Baby corn, Panneer) were crispy and tasted great with the right masala combination. The wooden table and the lighting arrangement looked and felt so classy. Parking was available on the road side. Pav-Bhaji, French fries and Biriyani tasted well. Pineapple cream desert was an awesome treat to eyes and taste buds.

Nice place for Gujarati veggie lovers and staunch Jain followers who do not eat garlic, onion and potatoes. This place is situated on the first floor of an upscale locale, which offers pure vegetarian cuisine with tons of varieties. This place is always super busy so it's advisable to book reservation first and then go. Only negative part is that tooany people sit for dinner. Due to that it become too noisy. One must try Bhaji pav which is a favourite variety of this place.

Bombay Shiv Sagar is definitely the most sought after places in Kolkata but it seems to have lost the charm it once had. The food that we ordered there was delayed and the sitting arrangements seemed a bit tacky. The food though was upto the taste. The menu had food items from all cuisines but South Indian and Street side delicacies are best priced here. Rest seems bit expensive. If you are in Kolkata and look for a restaurant with PURE VEG food, then this is your place.

Staff has been trained to allocate the seat in such a way that it doesn't hamper their business. They couldn't provide seats to people in their restaurant thinking about customers who will fill the table after sometime. We asked for a table for 8 people and they kept us giving seats we didn't want. They said that 1. If you want sofa you will have to adjust in one sofa. So 1 table for 8 people, I am not sure how it made sense to them that we would be able to eat comfortably here. 2. They gave a table at such a place that their waiters will keep disturbing us continuosly because it blocks their pathway 3. Their ambience is not that great, the kind of hype this restaurant has received. We left the restaurant without having food here. Felt very bad because I was with my family. Kids and ladies with me. We had to find another restaurant nearby. Added photos to apprise you of the capacity they already had during our visit

Bombay Shiv Sagar serves some lip smacking vegetarian food starting from traditional South Indian and North Indian food to even Chinese food. 😋 We tried : Special Garlic Cheese Sandwich Cheese Pav Bhaji Chinese Bhel Chole Bhatura Fresh Lime Soda 😍 Experience: All the items were great and quantity was great. The sandwich is most definitely one of the best veg sandwiches we've ever had and the Chole Bhature was huge in size, enough for two people to share. The Pav Bhaji and Chinese Bhel were hearty and filling. ❤️Must Try : Special Garlic Cheese Sandwich, Chole Bhatura

*Good food *Worth the price. *Clean and spacious. *Courteous staff. *Good for family dinner. *Necessary precautions during corona has been maintained. *Washroom is clean. Separate bathrooms for both male and female. And it's more than one for each of them. *Avoid on weekend. You can find a lot of rush. *And yes! Take lift. Surroundings of Staircase are dirty and can be easily avoidable.

Bombay shiv sagar is one of the finest restaurants in Kolkata. As we know, it is very hard to find pure vegetarian restaurants in Kolkata. This restaurant has got great ambiance, the quality of the food is excellent and how to forget about the service they had provided us with post lockdown, the service and proper sanitization of the person as well as the tables. Though we had ordered CRISPY CHILI BABYCORN for the starters that almost took me away. Next for the main course we had ordered a normal MASALA DOSA which was provided with alu masala, sambar and coconut chutney. And last but not the least, THE DESSERT which we ordered was SILVER QUEEN. This was a special sundae included in their menu which included 4 flavours of Ice cream, some dry fruits and some cubes of jelly. A must try on dish there. This dessert was the STAR of the day. I would highly recommend you guys to try their SITAPHAL KING. I tell you, you would never regret on your decision. If you are a vegetarian, then it is a heaven for you I would say. Nice place to visit with family and friends.

Being a bengali I hate dining at a vegetarian restaurant, but had to go there because of my friend.. The quality of the food was really impressive.. The crispy chilly baby corn is to die for.. Along with that we had masala kulcha, nargisi kofta and lime soda.. Each one of those hit out of the park.. The service is extremely good and very polite.. If you are going there, it's going to cost you around 900-1200 for two.. Much recommended

Bombay Shiv Sagar is located in the first floor of Pantaloons. This restaurant is very well kept and managed. It is very good for large groups and families and you can easily spend one hour of quality time here. . . I ordered crispy chilly mushroom and baby corn for starters. The taste was great with crispness on point. In main course I ordered Assorted basket which had five types of rotis and two side dishes, Nargesi Kofta and Vegetable Anarkali. The taste was great and no complaints regarding that. . . The staff was very professional and friendly. Proper hygiene is maintained and sanitisation is done on each seating area. . . The one thing that I would like to highlight is the quantity. The rotis were smaller in size and not sufficient, so that can be improved. Otherwise, a great place. . . A must visit place 💯

Bombay Shiv Sagar is amongst the oldest pure vegetarian restaurants that people love. Their good quantity and quality has always been scrumptious. The menu items are wide in range and the best part is they have items for all age groups kids to adults to senior citizens. FromPaw Bhaji to Chinese Bhel to North Indian Dishes are the best in town. Its always crowded and you need to have time in hand to sit, relax and eat. Service is fast compared to the crowd that visit the restaurant everyday They have a party banquet inside too. The food quality for that is also very good

The food quality has degraded quite a bit. Everything that i tried had something or the other wrong in it. The fresh lime soda had a bit too much lemon in it, the crispy chilli babycorn tasted weird but the fried rice was just fine. This place was a family favourite for years as we are pure vegetarians, but now i dont even feel like coming here.

Ambience is very good with a pleasant atmosphere inside . The staff is professional (positively speaking) . Rates are also justified. Just one suggestion they need to make their Manchurian crispy. That's all , a must visit .

I would recomend this place for family or friend outings (dinner, lunch). Normally booking a table ain't required unless you're 15 or more. The dim lights gives a whole different look to the interior.

The food here is extremely delicious and so pocket friendly! The ambiance is also very soothing and pleasant. I had a great time with my family here for lunch. The pav bhaji is absolutely to die for!

I visit this restuarant every Sunday and is the best restuarant of Kolkata and I love this place. Here you can go with your family and friends and the food service is the best. I always eat first Manchaw Soup, then baby corn or Manchurian then macsican pizza then north indian food, then jeera daal fried rice then at last deserts in which I will recommend you Gadbad.. Bombay Shiv Sagar is a pure vegetarian restuarant and is located in Camac Street in Kolkata and on Sunday's it has a heavy crowd as their food is delicious.. Have a visit.. If found helpful please drop a like and share your views. Krish Viradiya.

Liked the ambiance food and desserts it's wonderful. Despite not being a veg I really enjoyed myself there. The prices are also very affordable. Do try their Chinese bhel and pineapple King. Only complain is the inadequate training given to staffs, they will stand there staring at the patrons eating making it a really uncomfortable. Other than that it's good.

Today was my worst experience ever , the service was so bad that they dropped gravy while serving on my mask phone and several other things on the table and these people are so dumb that they don't even know what braces are , while cleaning up my , I had taken off my braces, it was on the table and the table cleaner took the braces as garbage I wish I could give 0 stars to this restaurant for this kinda service my braces were worth rupees 20,000 thousands and due to few dumb staff I feel that this restaurant's position has degraded

Located on the 1st floor at 22 Camac Street (Kankaria Estates), the same premises that houses Pantaloons and Westside, I have been visiting here for atleast 12 years if my memory serves right. This place is a Hit with Veg lovers and always has a crowd buzzing in there. We ordered Chinese Bhel, Pav Bhaji, Chiku Milkshake and Fruit Custard with Jelly. All dishes were excellent in preparation. Must visit place.

Waited for 1.5 hrs despite other families (3/4 members) allowed to go in just because they wont allow 2 people occupying table of 3/4 seats even if next 10 families in queue goes in. Security guard and waiter managing table allocation inside are rude and said they wont do anything despite waiting for many hours. Extreamely pathetic and frustating service. Though i am just 1 customer for this restaurant, but i wont visit this place again ever.

Pure Vegetarian Restaurant Don't have to wait much after placing the order. I went there during the time of Durga Puja and have to wait only 15 - 20 minutes max for the order. The quality of food was also good. Well Sanitized. The only drawback is, it is little bit expensive. Still going to recommend it and perfect place for family outing.

Very good and happening place to dinein. Weekends are crowded and may have to wait in a queue. They have virtually anything vegetarian you can think of. Ambiance is very uplifting. Food quality is good and staff are courteous. Definitely deserves another visit

Firstly I was not aware of Such Good pure veg restaurant available in Kolkata specially in the Maidan area . So after a long research chose this today for the dinner and totally satisfied. Due to our own fault in the main course the sabzi's were having less salt but that was misunderstanding no hate to the chef's. The Ambience is so good , it gives a positive vibe even the staff is friendly no ill - behaviour. Ambience ✅ Staff✅ Location ✅ Food✅ Food Price✅ Food Variety ✅ Big cheers to all the people working here . A must to go out place

Food was awesome in taste specially sambar and naryal ki chati! One thing they should improve is they don't let customers sit on their desired table as they keep one portion closed most of the time. Service was good! Recommended definitely 🙂

Each dish was a culinary delight, showcasing creativity and attention to detail. The freshness of the ingredients was evident, and the presentation was appealing. The service was prompt, adding to the overall positive dining experience. Whether you're a vegetarian or not, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking to savor delicious, plant-based cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere.
