Only 10-15 mins from my residence and it's a hidden jem in Howrah. This ancient place known for their extremely delicious recipes made out of pure ghee and pure mustard oil. You must try their stuffed kachuri known as "DALPURI" ❤❤ They also known for their singara, vegetable chop, chop filled with delicious coconut filling etc. Please take little time to visit this place because this place has been overcrowded on everyday at evening.

I love the "dalpuri" they prepare but nowadays they do not give a good quantity of curry with dalpuri and I used to like the "chops" and "begunis" here, but recently I have found that their quality of those chops have become worse. Only the vegetable chop is good here still.

Oke of the oldest 'telebhaja' shops at Howrah near bantra, Kadamtala on the makardah road. It is famous for its 'daalpuri' (split Bengal gram staffed within the flour dough and fried the same in oil). The staffing is very tasty and thick as well. The veg served with his is also traditionally same since long ng in the form of potato curry (without peeled off). The vegetable chop is also quite tasty and all the items are reasonably priced. Only thing is teb shop is at a busy location, so little bit congested for one sho wants to enjoy it right there.

Good oil cake such as alur chop, fuluri, alur bora, beguni boiled motor with alu & Kachuri with alur torkari from 7.30 am to 11.30 - 12 noon. At evening - vegetable chop, dal puri & Kachuri. They also prepare - chanachur, juri bhaja, badam bhaja.

You have to eat to feel the art of telebhaja. Fried with pure mustard oil.most of the days people wait for 30-45 mind to grab a bite.. It's exceptional, fantabulous, tremendous, no one does the same like them..since childhood I never felt they changed their taste, quality...And wish they continue their service for next generation s to come

Dalpuri & Kochuri are famous in this shop. Many years ago this shop was popular in this area. But nowadays this shop lost its charm. Shop is very old. Only Cash is Accepted Here. Always Crowded.
