It's strange, on every festival every other restaurant introduce their special menu but all of them are based on Non-Veg foods. Hardly someone cares about special veg menu in this special occasion like Durga Puja. What about the vegetarians out there? Shouldn't they enjoy this Puja with some delicious foods? Well someone was listing, and the wish of all vegetarians came true. This year Teekha came with some brilliant 100% veg thalis specially for Durga Puja with some of the delicious dishes of Bengal, without what Durga Puja doesn't complete. Ambiance : --------------------------- This is the real charm of this place. The ambiance here is classy, elegant, beautiful, better to say a proper fine dine. Extremely comfortable spacey sofas, brilliant lightings and overall interior pleases you from the very first step you keep here. Be it casual date or family lunch, its one of the perfect place for dining. Coming to the Special Menu : ---------------------------------------------- Starting from Shorba to Jhuri Alu Bhaja to Beguni, all the favourites of Bengalis along with Veg Tandoor starters, Tandoori Aloo & Fulkopi was available. Korai Shutir Kochuri and Cholar Dal was very authentic. Mains were very interesting with dishes like Chanar Kalia, Sorse Potol, Dhokar Dalna, Begun Bahar and many more. Even Suktoni, Mochar Ghonto and plain rice combo was killing it. My favourite was their sweet Pulao. Chinese items were also there in buffet, but who cares. I was already full with it. Look I'm die hard Non Vegetarian & I just love Non-Veg foods. But there's a large number of vegetarians out there and I respect them all. You know, a veg meal is full of dietary fibers that can help maintain overall calories intake and it actually helps you to lose fat, become slim and healthy. Not to mention the benefits of vitamins. Why I'm saying all this, because being a Non-Vegetarian I didn't even missed it for a single second. The food was that good, far better than my expectation. Staffs and Management : ------------------------------------------- Already said its fine dine and they do have some great profession staffs to maintain the standard. Well dressed and prompt service of the staffs didn't dissatisfies us. Pricing : -------------------- Okey, so good food & good ambiance comes heavy on pocket right? Ya! that is what I was thinking about. But I was rather surprised when I got to know this special menu is available During Puja @ Rs.650 only. Final Verdict : --------------------------- Teekha is simply the best 100% Veg Fine Dine Restaurant in Kolkata for now. You know, the brand Haldiram since 1937, it doesn't need any further introduction.

Loved the service and specially Anirban he took care of all our needs like a perfect gentleman. The place is also very good food tasted awesome. The quality and quantity is great me my sister my mom and my wife all loved the place and we requested the taste for the food we ordered and they made it in our taste. Normally restaurant refuses to change the taste for what they serve.

Teekha restaurant, on the fourth floor of Haldoram food court is a Very good vegetarian option in Kolkata. It is , conveniently located on the crossing of Gurusaday Road / Ballygunge park near ice skating rink in South Kolkata. The place has good food to choose N order from. You also have the open of buffet dinner.

Coming to the food, ambience and service. 1. Food- They have a huge variety of dishes. The quality as well as quantity of each and every dish was amazing. We had: ~Welcome Drink This is a homemade lemonad drink which is spiked with refreshing. 2. Ambience- The ambience is classy, cool and calm. They have a huge dining area. Rating: 5/5 3. Wonderful ambience and delicious food!! The place is mostly empty and is very spacious. There is an enclave for buffet as well for reserved parties. The waiters are very well mannered ans so is the Manager. The food was delicious to another level... Vegetarian though only and very affordable too. The Thali was a 4 course royal welcome.

This is a perfect fine dine serving veg food at Ballygunge . It is hugely spread over a wide space . Nicely lit this place gives a perfect ambience for dinner or lunch with family and friends. The service is also nice. We tried Pineapple mint agua fresca juice In starters we tried Tandoori Aloo Veg Cutlet Crispy chilly baby corn Tomato Basil soup Hot and sour soup In main course we tried Paneer butter masala Kashmiri Aloo Dum Dal makhni Tandoori roti Butter naan Masala kulcha Veg Biriyani and Raita And in desserts we tried Hot Gulab jamun Vanilla ice cream Will surely visit this place again and will suggest this place to everyone

Beautifully decorated and spacious restaurant located in Ballugunge. They provide good quality food within a very short span of time. The atmosphere is very calm and sober with an excellent staff-service. The aesthecity of the restaurant is very eye-catching. To me, this is one of the best restaurants for trying out vegetarian food items. The food was rich in quality as well as in quantity. I would suggest everyone to visit this amazing place.

Teekha is located at Ballyguange on the 2nd floor of the haldiram building. They have a huge dining area along with a separate place for the buffet section. This place is nicely decorated and the yellow lights makes the ambiance more soothing. We ordered veg biriyani along with paneer butter masala , kashimiri dum aloo and mix veg. Kashimiri dum aloo was the best of the lot , it is basically mashed paneer stuffed potatoes cooked in a tomato based spicy gravy.

Teekha is a pure veg restaurant located on the second floor of Haldiram. The place is huge and has chic interiors with cosy ambience, making it a perfect place for family dinners, formal get-togethers and even celebrations! Coming to the food, this place offers a huge variety of North Indian, Chinese and Italian delicacies. Started off with Tomato Basil Soup and Hot & Sour soup, both were equally delicious. For the starters, you gotta try the Chilli Baby Corn, very crispy and appetising. For the main course, I tried the Butter Naan and Kulcha with Dal Makhani and Subz Meloni - it was simply delicious. The Paneer Butter Masala and Kashmiri Aloo Dum had a sweet taste which I didn’t like. Ended on a sweet with some Gulab Jamun and Vanilla Ice Cream - loved it! Teekha by Haldiram ...the restaurant is nicely done up and the staff are extremely courteous....but when it comes to the food quality it is far from what you will expect at a Haldiram outlet. The Buffet menu lacks creativity. ..all deep fried starters ...main course menu said paneer tikka butter masala....but the paneer was not one bit tandoor cooked and the gravy was under done...too spicy and not at all worth the money....if you go with the expectation of Haldiram standard food you will be thoroughly disappointed
