The Galouti kebab with sheermal paratha is a must try dish from here. Personally the biryani from here wasn’t good at all. Special mutton biryani costs Rs 460 (2 piece mutton, one aloo) which was total waste. The mutton pieces were horrible. Mutton galouti kebab (β‚Ή380 4 piece) 5/5 It was superb. Sheermal paratha (β‚Ή80 each): a soft paratha, I tasted it for the first time and my experience was great. The price was bit high for me. For biryani this place is a big no. 2 stars off because of this. Ambience: 5/5 Hospitality & service: 5/5 Hygiene: 5/5

Location: Close to Quest Mall, towards Park Circus. Ambience: 1st floor is ac section. Large tables, good lighting. Large glass panes overlooking the street. Filtered water available. Clean washroom and washbasin. Service: Quite prompt. Found a hair in the Mutton Chaap, when pointed it out to the waiter he immediately changed the dish. Ordered: * Mutton Chaap: tender mutton pieces, spices were a little bland, did not have the flavours expected. Rs 330. Found a hair in the dish. Though the waiter changed the dish, hygiene is an issue. * Paratha: thin, slightly yellowish in colour, little sweet, did not taste good. Was not perfect with the chaap, perhaps naan would have been better. Rs 50. * Shahi Tukra: quite good, however not the best. Rs 130. Overall, taste of dishes were average, nothing to make me come again. Just an ok restaurant.

Let's talk about the star of the showβ€”the delicious chicken biryani. Every spoonful was bursting with aromatic flavors, perfectly cooked rice, and tender chicken pieces that melted in my mouth. The spices were well-balanced, creating a harmonious blend that elevated the dish to new heights. Accompanying the biryani, I ordered a Tandoori Roti , which was soft, fluffy, and had just the right amount of char. It was the perfect vehicle for savoring every morsel of the flavorful biryani. Additionally, I tried a chicken side dish whose name escapes me, but the taste still lingers in my memory. The succulent chicken, bathed in a delicious sauce, had me reaching for more with each bite. The flavors were rich, complex, and left me wanting to explore the diverse range of flavors present in Indian cuisine. To end the meal on a sweet note, I indulged in the firni, and it was a delightful treat. What truly impressed me about the Royal Indian Restaurant was not only the delectable food but also the attentive and friendly service. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu, offering recommendations and ensuring that my dining experience was enjoyable from beginning to end. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their customers' satisfaction truly set them apart.

Park Circus Royal is a niche place to dine in. It has more variety in the menu than barabazar branch. I personally like their old joint more than the new one both taste wise and atmosphere wise. Service is top notch. Galauti kebab should be a little less spicier and should be served with small parathas. They change the mutton piece if u don't like it and that's a very positive point. The special Mutton biryani was very tasty with a little oily feel not like the barabazar joint which is good.

We had Mutton Biriyani, Mutton Tikiya, Rumali Roti, Tandoori chicken, Chicken Reshmi kebab and firni, Shahi Tukda for dessert. Every dish was well prepared and flavourful. The chicken was soft and succulent. The ambience is nice and the staffs are quite hospitable. Service is top notch.

Place is located near to the 7 point park circus crossing on the opposite side of quest Mall. The ambience is awesome. The mutton biryani is a bit spicy with a decent size mutton piece. The mutton chap was average in taste. Firni was the best item. Overall good experience.

In this review i will not discuss about the taste of the foods of this place because this place we all know very well how good it is. But for a quick info Jakaria Street royal restaurant. Price is too High Quantity is very less. Ok we ordered Royal Chicken Biriyani Chicken champ Royal paratha & Chicken Bharta amd another item was not there (we are there around 1 pm) So we ordered Rumali Roti Chicken tikka butter masala Fresh Lime soda Well as I have said Taste is good so much Dalda in the Biriyani but it was good chicken was soft. Now why I rated with 3 stars Quantity was like very very small i get that the price of other components are shooting the sky but you just can't cut the quantity size to literally half what you have used to serve The piece of chicken in the Biriyani so small hardly 90gm The only piece in the chicken champ is hardly 110gm So bottom line is this is not the place where you can eat your favourite mughal foods in a reasonable price. No this is simply not possible Price is also high and quantity will also leave annoyed. And I don't think this will improve anyway. So no more Royal for me. Thank you for Reading this very soon will come with another review till then stay safe eat healthy and take care of yourself in this scorching heat & protect yourself from COVID-19 it is coming again. I am attaching my photos as well.

Absolutely nothing to fault this place on, every single thing was perfect. Starting with the kakori kebab, so so so soft, absolutely melts in your mouth, 5/5, must try! Their biryani is flavourful, it's delicious and wholesome, amazing! Mutton chaamp was also great but the star of the day was their galawati kebab, absolutely stunning, I'd give it a 10/5, loved every single thing about it. The service was also exceptional! Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Value for money: 5/5

Wanna try one of the finest and tastiest biriyani in kolkata?.....then this is the place πŸ˜‹. Royal Indian Resturant serves some delicious biriyani to its biriyani lovers. Situated just exact opposite to quest mall the place has quite large sitting arrangement. Coming to food the chicken tandoori served here tastes too good. We tried their moti lucknowi biriyani with mutton chap (small chops of mutton pieces tasted out of world). Hence, a highly recommended place for biriyani lovers of Kolkata.

Royal Indian Restaurant has been running in Kolkata for over a 110 years. Recently visited this outlet which has a modern touch to the tradition it upholds for years. The food is outstanding and so is the service. We tried: πŸ”ΉChicken Malai Kebab (INR 280) πŸ”ΉMutton Galawati Kebab (INR 320) πŸ”ΉMutton Biryani (without Aaloo - Potato, INR 270) πŸ”ΉChicken chaap (INR 240) πŸ”ΉMutton Chaap (INR 260) πŸ”ΉFirni (INR 70) Their kebab just melts in the mouth and tastes scrumptious. You should also try their Chicken Kasturi Kebab, which is yet another speciality! Note: Being a traditional Lucknowi restaurant, their signature is the Biryani without Aaloo (Potato), which is unlike Kolkata style biryani where Potato is a MUST. If you want it with Aaloo, just mention that while ordering. Also you MUST try their chicken chaap and mutton chaap with Rumali Roti. It tastes amazing! A recommended place if you love awadhi/Mughal cuisine.

Mutton galawati kebab was the highlight. Royal mutton biryani special kofti was not worth the hype. The rice was a bit bland and the meat was quite dry. Mutton shahi qorma, which went well with either rumail roti or masala qulcha, was also flavourful and packed quite the heat. The place gets very busy on the weekends especially during the evenings. Reservation recommended.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a delightful experience. The food quality was impressive, especially the well-cooked chicken kebabs and flavorful biriyani with perfectly cooked rice. The sheermal, with its mesmerizing ghee aroma, was a highlight. However, the mutton in the biriyani was a bit tough. The chicken butter masala was average, but the shahi tukra dessert was a delightful end to the meal. Hygiene standards were well-maintained. The service was good, and the staff were polite, though the waiting time was a bit extended. Despite this, the overall value for money is excellent, given the moderate prices. A recommended spot for those seeking delicious and reasonably priced Indian cuisine.

Restaurant: Royal Indian Hotel Branch: Syed Amir Ali Avenue (opposite Quest Mall) Dishes: Chicken Chaap, Mutton Chaap, Tandoori Roti Review: Chaaps were nowhere nearby what we call chap. Both of them were old stock. Probably from previous days. Took it out and heat it up in Vanaspati. Totally bland in taste and tasted worse because of vanaspati. Mutton chaap was pretty less in quantity as per price. Bone was there (which i do not complain). But taste wise it was nowhere nearby. Chicken chaap also same experience. One decent piece but they used something in the gravy which does not seem to be used in chaap. Totally tasteless and again same vanaspati which messed up the whole thing. But yes their Tandoori roti was the only thing i liked. I tried their Chitpur outlet 10 years back the memory if which is still sour. They have not improved a bit till date. Will come with next review about their biryani.

I was extremely satisfied after waiting for a long time to have Good biriyani from a good place. Royal India, park circus is a must visit. I visited here on Sunday and I have found a roadside Parking where the security man was quite Helpful. I entered the place and the staffs were very much welcoming and listened to each and Every Request of us. I had ordered Royal,'s special Mutton Biryani which I liked a lot. The rice was quite balanced from taste and smell. The mutton pieces were also good but I was little bit disappointed with the amount of Meat Balls or Motis been used. It is because I already had tried from this place earlier where the Motis were good enough. Here, since there is no potato piece and on top of that the Motis were less, I found it quite disappointing. Otherwise, overall I have enjoyed here with my friend. Also, on request I have managed to take Videos as a part of my Content for Instagram. Do follow on IG πŸ‘‰ @bickfreeze.2 and you will find the Video of this place.

Royal makes one of the best Biryani in Kolkata... We ordered Galaouti Kebab for starter... that tasted amazing !! For main course we had Mutton Kofti Biryani, Chaap, and Mutton Rezala.... all these dishes were really great !!.. and lastly for dessert we had Firni and Shahi Tukda... both were equally great as well... all in all... a very good experience... prices were a bit high, but was worth it... staff is cooperative and the food is served really hot... Excellent Food I was highly recommended by localities for this place, being a true foodie. Location is in the old city and parking can be a hassle. Their are 2 levels of seating ,one is at the ground floor next to the live counters. Another is on the first floor , left side is regular but the right side us air conditioned. We chose the regular option and ordered the obvious, Mutton Biryani and the Mutton Chaap. Biryani was one of the best , Beautiful flavours, not dry at all and mutton quality was amazing.Chaap was again beautifully done, it's a mince but with small chest bones. A must visit for every foodie, it's better than all the other popular Biryani places, trust me.

There is not much time left for Eid to come so this is the right time to taste it. So the next destination is Royal Indian Restaurant, Park Circus Branch. The biryani is their strongest, but it remains to be seen how much Halim can attract the mind. The clock ticked 1:30 when I was crossing the Royal boundary in the heat of the half-oven. , And Mutton Kundan Korma. Outside, a fire in my stomach, busy with everything, the waiter came down to rescue me like a firefighter, who was ordered mutton halim, chicken anarkali, mutton champ, paratha, and mutton kundan korma without waiting. By the way, my love for the goat is genuine, I can't even think of removing it from the plate. Let's see how I played- ❣️Mutton haleem (β‚Ή 275) - What I came to eat did not disappoint me at all, it was about 6-7 pieces of small sized bone-fleshed meat, I got the aroma of light water in Halim which did not taste bad at all, but it tasted a little sour when I ate it. HChicken Anarkali (6pcs β‚Ή 300) - When it comes to royals, when it comes to starters, I like one of the two, Galouti Kebab and two, this Anarkali. This kebab made with anar is soft from the outside

It is one of the famous restaurants in kolkata. The taste of mutton or even chicken biryani is very light and not upto to the mark.‼️ The mutton pieces were not very soft and succulent which will just melt in your mouth as expected from a good biryani. So bottom line is this is not the place where you can eat your favourite mughal foods or North Indian cuisine at a reasonable price with GOOD TASTE! Price is OK and quantity Is bit less And I don't think this will improve anyway. So one time visit and experience their food taste and services.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Royal Indian Restaurant, and it was an absolute culinary delight! From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience. The menu showcased a diverse range of dishes, each carefully crafted with attention to detail. The chef's commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients was evident in every bite. The flavors were exquisite, and each dish was a testament to the chef's culinary expertise.

Biriyani was very good. Other food items were nice. Service was good too. Must mention about the ambiance, quite decent. But thumbs down for availability of food. They don't serve every dish regularly, sometimes kebabs, sometimes mutton and once said that the potatoes are not available in biriyani as those are already finished with others' orders.

First of all I would like to mention that, the biriyani is really good here. The chicken was well cooked, soft and juicy. You can feel the spices unlike biriyanis of other eateries. But the reshmi kebab was not upto the mark, although the chutney was really awesome. There is another thing that bothered me was, the unavailability of the dishes, mentioned in the menu, and it was just 9 in the evening.

Located in park circus, got a sober ambience and food taste is good.. It was my first visit there.. I had mutton biriyani, tandoori roti, butter naan and mutton korma... Mutton korma had one medium sized piece of mutton and a light gravy not thick at all... Tandori roti was moderate in taste.. It was a bit hard and flat.. The butter nan was also moderate.. I consider the butter nan to be a bit high priced... The mutton korma was good in taste... The mutton was nicely cooked and was soft and tender... The mutton biriyani was also good in taste. A medium sized mutton was served and it was cooked nicely.. My overall experience was good.. πŸ‘Œ

Undoubtedly one of the best Biriani resturant in kolkata. Prime location at park circus. The speciality of this restaurant is they serve Biriani without potato, instead of that they serve mutton chunks with the rice. Anyway you can opt for the kolkata famous aloo Biriani too. Complete satisfaction for every mughlai cuisine lovers

You can found this luxurious resturant exactly opposite of quest mall which is very near to park circus seven point crossing. It is a branch of the great Royal Resturant, Zakaria Street. We tried their signature dish that is Mutton Chaap along with Butter Nun Paratha. You can also try their other delicious items likes Biriyani and other mutton or chicken preparations along with Shadi Tukda and Phirni as a dessert item. Items quality and price range were good but I'll request you to avoid the rush hour to get your food more delicious.

One of the few restaurants serving authentic Mughlai cusine, this restaurant is located near the Park Circus seven point crossing. It has both ac and non-ac seating. The food is really very good and their "Shahi Tukda" is a must try. The portions are decent and value for money.

Nice place. The biryani tastes good. The aloo one and moti one was good. The dishes are hugely overpriced though. 2 small pieces of chicken for that price god. Simply out there are much better options in the area. If you are there seat by the window, the view is nice.

One of the best non veg restaurant in Located in between 7 point crossing Park Circus and Mullick Bazaar. Park The ambience is really fantastic .. The staffs was very friendly . Service was good ❀️ We ordered - 1. Drums of heaven πŸ˜‹ 2. Mutton biryani πŸ˜‹ 3. Phirni πŸ˜‹ Each and every items were delicious ...The service was top notch . It was an amazing experience .. Highly recommended .

Due to Aloo and With bone chicken rice quantity is very less. Not adequate for adults. In other restaurants the parcel container is 1 size bigger to this. That is also the reason. Taste wise good. Light and tasty I must say. Try dine in there wont be this disappointed with quantity. P. S. Avoid ordering online or takeaways.

We had mutton biryani & mutton rogan josh. I have to say that biriyani was not oily or greasy. It was really much much better quality than I had so far. Mutton Rogan Josh was just a little bit bland. Otherwise, every other thing was really good!

Royal India Resturant πŸ“ 24 A, Syed Amir Ali Ave, Lower Range, Park Circus, Ballygunge, Kolkata, West Bengal 700017 Royal India is a well known restaurant and their biriyani and chaps are quite popular so I was very eager to visit this place but i must say it hasn’t lived up to my expectations. First lets talk about the parking. Though parking was available for two and four wheelers they had the audacity to shift our two wheeler from its place without our permission. No parking safety. Then lets come to the dining experience. Sitting arrangement and ambience is good but the biriyani was really really bad. It had a very strong and overpowing flavours of biriyani essence so much so that the biriyani taster bitter. I had such a high expectations but was really disappointed. I had the worst experience and would never like to visit again.

Where is meat in the biryani? Just some chunks of meat present in biryani. No meat pieces given. I have also doubt that this is not mutton. This is beef. They send beef biryani instead of mutton biryani.

We went there during the Durga Puja of 2023 with our friends. This was our first time visiting them. I must say the quality of their food was very good and it was one of the best biriyanis I've ever had. Other big restaurants fail to deliver their best quality at this time due to the rush but they didn't disappoint us at all. Also the ambience was quite good, it's a multistorey restaurant so most of the time seats are easily available. And the service was good and the staff were helpful and courteous but still I gave 4 Star because at the time of billing the manager itself was expecting a tip from us, which we don't like at all and didn't have to face in any other places in recent times. And even he was kind of forcing us which was really disturbing. Otherwise it's really a good place to visit. We've shared a video review of our experience on our YouTube channel RupuSubhi Vlogs. Please check that and subscribe to us if you like our work.

I had a great experience at Subway! As soon as I walked in, a clean and attractive ambiance welcomed me. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, guiding me through the fresh ingredients and wide range of bread options. The sandwich I ordered was made exactly to my specifications, with vegetables that were crispy and delicious, and this is a great spot for a delicious meal,

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Recently visited this place and trust me, it was worth every penny. The ambiance was great. We had Mutton Chello Kebab. The kebabs were very juicy and tender, I couldn't stop drooling! 😐 Simply come here for the atmosphere and history. Nothing should be eaten here. Cold coffee was a letdown. It was cold water that had been sweetened with a pinch of coffee. The fish kaviraji was satisfactory. Despite the fact that there is a no-smoking sign on the premises, I observed people smoking...
