Stars cannot be measured when it comes to the meinfoon of this place. The side dishes too are pretty good. Though the starters are a bit over priced, but the taste makes you forget all the other things. Service is quite fast, quality and quantity is going to get a pure 100/100 marks.

Tung Fong is a popular Chinese Themed Restaurant in Park Street and like most restaurants in that area, Tung Fong is also a Hidden Gem. It has a grandiose ambiance with fine architecture and a grand golden sphere on the centre top of the restaurant. The food is very tasty and the service is helpful as well. This is definitely a good restaurant, especially for people who like Chinese Food.

This is a great place to have Chinese food in the hear of the city. The location is the best advantage for this restaurant. You can access it very easily from any part of the city very quickly. I must say if you're going over the weekend you might have to wait for 30-45 minutes. Not every weekend situation is not same. Most of the time I have got my seat very quickly. I really like their food as well as their service. They have all types of Chinese items as.pwr your choice. The place is amazing.

This is one of the legendary restaurants of Park Street. The location is just beside Mocambo, another very famous restaurant, you just have to take a left turn at the Park St & Mirza Ghalib St crossing, towards the Mirza Ghalib Street. The ambience is very calm and the interior is really nice with white walls and a high ceiling. They serve proper 'Indian Chinese' cuisine; full bar is also available. You'll get to see a typical retro Kolkata ambience inside, like the other famous and old restaurants of Park Street. The food is absolutely delicious. One has to eat and realise the tastiness of the food. Red Pepper Chicken was ordered by us from the starters, which was spicy and truly a recommended item (half and full both options are available, half portion is just perfect for 2 people). From the main section, Chicken Fried Rice and Schezwan Chicken(we ordered half, which was sufficient enough) were awesome as well. One must visit this beautiful restaurant if hovering around Park Street. I've been there before but would definitely like to visit again any day, if I'm in the mood for having Chinese!

The ambience is great. So is the food. I love to eat at this particular restaurant because they know how to please their guests' tummies. Parking is to be done on road which may become a challenging task on weekends.

This has remained one of my favourite places to have tasty and filling Chinese food, since childhood. Visited recently and felt that the eatery has lost its old charm. It used to be a fine dining joint in the day but now the place looks very run down with old linen, old chairs, and old paintings. Nevertheless, I must say the food still retains its old taste. Very clean, sophisticated and mild on palate. Ordered Chicken Wanton Soup, Mixed Meifoon and Chilli Garlic Fish. Each and every item was tasty and took me back to my childhood days. Quantity is a bit less nowadays but the taste is exceptional. Surely one of the gems of Kolkata dine outs. Cost for two INR 900-1000.

Two decades old Chinese restaurant in the heart-throb of Kolkata. It is located in Park Street area and easy to connect. The ambiance of Tung Fong is another standout feature. The restaurant is tastefully decorated with a mix of traditional and modern elements, creating an elegant and cozy setting. The lighting is soft, and the seating arrangements are comfortable, making it an ideal place for intimate dinners or gatherings with friends and family. The attention to detail in the decor adds to the overall charm of the restaurant and enhances the dining experience. Their service was also top-notch. On the weekend you might have to wait but we got our seat instantly on the weekend. You will be left wondering what to order since they have a vast menu with innumerable options, and have different sections for different kinds of meats. After some discussions we ordered 🤪:- Chicken steam Wonton:- 3.5/5 ( Best Wonton from the kitchen of Tung naam) Chicken drumsticks:- 4/5 Chicken fried rice:- 4.5/5 Tung fong special Cashew chicken:- 5/5 (The best, filled with lots of cashews and Mouthwatering) Must try item:- Cashew chicken

We ordered chicken 65, Tung Fung special mixed noodles and hot garlic prawns. And Budweiser 😂😂 I loved both the chicken and prawns but the noodles could have been better. It was good though but fell short of my experience, had before. Personal opinion.

It's a very old name in Calcutta food history however current price and food quality doesn't justify that legacy. We ordered chicken and mushroom cream soup which was good. On the main course, we ordered mixed rice, one side fish of chicken and grilled fish..however the fish was not grilled, it's basically very shallow fried. Though taste wise good.cjicken side fish taste wise ok, nothing special..price is on the very higher side..rice cost around 400, grilled fish around 750.etc..spup is also around 400/-. If you have not visited earlier, you can go otherwise I recommend Chinatown or SeiVui restaurant at Poddar court for a value meal.

We four went there to have lunch. We ordered fried wantons, chilli chicken dry and red pepper fish as starters and mixed fried rice, chicken gravy noodles and kung pao chicken as main course. All the items except gravy noodles were amazingly delicious. We loved each one of those. However I did not like the gravy noodles and found it to be bland. Even the kung pao chicken wouldn't go along with it. But the rest of the items are highly recommended. The interior of this restaurant is very elegant and nicely decorated. The sitting space is designed so as to maintain social distance with other tables. On entry, thermal screening of temperature and handwash disposal systems are kept in place with all other preventive norms being followed. Cleanliness and hygiene are top notch. Overall, a beautiful experience.

Fab food. If you are vegetarian, please inform the staff in advance. Authentic stuff, one of the finest joints on park street. Do nit miss out on the chow and chef special mushrooms in secret sauce. Great food options along with the fluid menu. Definitely a must try for first timers.

A place that I've visited manyyyy number of times with family and friends. It's a good place for quality Chinese food. Try the Thai Soup here. We keep coming back for it. It's a tangy thick soup with a very unique and amazing flavor. We love it. They customize the amount of heat in the food. If you want them to make something spicy, they WILL. So do talk to your waiter. They're very helpful for the most parts. Quick tip: don't get scared by the prices, the portions are huge. On an average twice the other places. Edit: I visited this place recently with a friend and the service was atrocious. They didn't bother to bring us proper cutlery until we asked and even then they didn't bring us proper dishes - I have visited this place since I was in school. Now I have a job. Yes - it's been that long. I wanted to bring my friend who I brought here from another state because I wanted to bring him to the place I loved. And my god was I disappointed. Quite frankly - I won't be returning here FOR SURE.

The place is great, the atmosphere is pleasant and very calm. One of old Kolkata places, you can't miss out on it. The drinks are cheaper than you'd expect, but the cocktails are not up to standard. The food is pretty good. The service is a bit lazy. But overall, great.

Situated at a prime location, this restaurant is highly recommended for its Chinese dishes. For starters, we had Butter Pepper Garlic chicken (10/10), golden fried prawn (8/10) as the prawn size was not big with respect to the price. For the main course, we had mixed fried rice, mixed chowmein, Hot garlic fish and Kung pao chicken. Please note they serve mutton slices in mixed fried rice. Quantity and quality wise, I will give 10/10. We had a couple of drinks like Cosmopolitan, Ballantine and Chivas Regal. The ambience is nice and if you are a group of 6-7, then there's a chance you will be seated in a round table where you can rotate the table top. That is really thoughtful as there are times when we need to pass the food to others at the table. The waiters were nice and suggested as per our taste. They are really helpful. Per person cost: With drinks - Rs. 1142 approx Without drinks - Rs. 500-600 approx Overall, the restaurant is top-notch and the price was moderate. Be sure to visit.

Service and atmosphere are really good. Chicken and noodles are really good but fish and fried rice items are not up to the standard for what we are paying. Gravy chicken noodles are recommended if someone likes gravy noodles or doesn't want spicy food along with chicken with cashew. The combination is really good. I'll suggest avoiding fish items from here, I tried 2 items and both are very sub standard if you compare them to the pricing.

Really Good Restaurant in Park Street. We have tried red pepper chicken as starter which was really tasty and also of good quantity (12 piece).🍚 Main Course : mixed fried rice, kum pao chicken, szechwan chicken, Mixed chow, Mixed rice noddles.🍜 Ordered all the items as a quantity of 1 and was enough for 5 people. Deserts, soft and hard drinks are also available but little costly. Ambience is just aswome.

I visited there in December 2022. I had a great time there. The food was awesome. Chili garlic fish was delicious and I would strongly recommend everyone to try this. Their special fried rice and special noodles were also amazing. Their main courses were also worth mentioning. Highly recommend this place as one of the best Chinese restaurants in the town.

Tung Fong is having their speciality in Chinese cuisine with prices between 350-450 for half which contains any dishes between 6-7 pcs & large between 700-800/- which contains 12 pcs . All items price varies between same range. The quality & the quantity is really good. They offer less spicy food & you can customise the spice as your need. Perfect for babies & old family members. The ambiance is really great. Each sitting arrangement has adequate personal space. They serve drink as well with wide variety of beer in really reasonable price. Cocktail is also good & can be tried.

One of the prime and oldest Chinese restaurants in the park street area the place has a good ambiance and large seating area. However the food quality and aesthetics seemed to have faded with time and for the price seems exorbitant. The quality is good and staff courteous. Food service is quick too and the place is well maintained in terms of cleanliness.

When Bar-B-Q, Mocambo had shoved us off owing to huge rush at their restaurants, Tung Fong became our savior, for the 10 of us (we office colleagues went for a get together dinner party) and opened their doors and their heart to treat us with their sumptuous food and made us feel comfortable with their neat and clean ambience ( not very overcrowded like feeling). For starters we tried : 1. Crispy chicken wanton 2. Drums of heaven (fried) 3. Drums of heaven ( with chilli garlic sauce) 4. Butter fish finger All of them full plates were more than sufficient for all of us! For the main course we had: 1. Mixed fried rice 2. Egg chicken fried rice 3. Kung pao chicken 4. Sweet and sour fish Tried their various mocktails too which were also fine. However, the menu doesn't really look very fancy but rather the old style Indian Chinese kinds but I must mention that each and every food tasted awesome and did not taste like the usual Chinese food that we eat quite often.. and this is where I will say that Tung Fong stands out! I am sure many had already eaten at Tung Fong and if you are one of those who still haven't, please do visit and taste the pleasure for yourself and satisfy your taste buds and your tummy !!

For main course we ordered mixed hakka noodles in chilli garlic sauce, mised fried rice, kung pao fish and hot garlic chicken. Except hot garlic chicken rest were amazing. The portion they give is quite enough tor 2 people and the prices are reasonable. The ambience and service added up to a great lunch.

This Chinese Restaurant is situated at the end of Park Street carrying all the authenticity with it. One of the finest Chinese restaurants in Kolkata. Specially the prawn dishes are a must try. Lemon Prawn r Honey Prawn are a must. Rice noodles and special noodles are also delicious. I have tried them thrice and they never disappointed.

One of the best Chinese restaurants in Kolkata. We had - Fried Chicken Wontons (12pcs), Drums of Heaven (10pcs), Chicken lung fung soup, Prawn crackers, Mixed garlic fried rice, Chili chicken (12pcs) & Schezwan chicken (12pcs). Everything was so fresh, delicious & had the right amount of spices and flavour. My personal favorites were the Drums of Heaven & Chili Chicken. Loved the food, ambience & the service. I love Chinese cuisine, will definitely revisit. Edit - Had packed 1 plate Chili chicken, there were only 9pcs instead of 12, a little disappointed about that.

Pretty ordinary food being served on New year's Eve 2023 Dec 31. Each and every item was bland and pretty tasteless. In order to manage excessive crowd it seems chefs are mixing water into the food to dilute . Didn't expect this horrible experience in Kolkata Park St eateries. Disgusting to say the least

The food items were really good, even the fresh lime soda was good too - it was not like the normal soda that other restaurants offer. All the food items were delicious. The items that we had are - 1. Chilli Garlic Pepper Chicken (Rs. 522) 2. Fresh Lime Soda (Rs. 127) 3. Fish Finger - 10Pcs. (Rs. 689) 4. Mixed Fried Rice (Rs. 254) 5. Manchurian Chicken (Rs. 522) 6. Fish in Oyster Sauce (Rs. 689) Tung Fong is certainly the best Chinese Restaurant that I've ever visited.

The place has a great ambiance but the quality of the food and the portions are not up to the mark. The prices are very high but the service and the food will not taste good and won't be your worth while if you don't have drinks with it. The only good thing they make is the prawn and chicken wanton and they are a bit expensive but tastier than the rest of the menu.

A Chinese cuisine restaurant in Park Street. It's quite spacious and has a large seating capacity. The tables are not adjacent, so that's good during the COVID times. The food is not cheap, but not very expensive either.

We went there in a group of 5 for a Sunday lunch. The place was already full but we had to wait for only 10mins to get our seat. We ordered fish chilli garlic pepper and chicken drumstick for starters. Each came within 10minutes and each item contained 10-12 pieces. Then we ordered prawn Hakka chowmein, mixed fried rice and chicken meifoon along with Shanghai Chicken and Manchurian chicken. The order came within 10 minutes. I am delighted by the fast service they provide. The quantity of each item is enough for two people. But I found the price to be on the higher side. Quality was excellent and hospitality was good too.

Tung Fong is a pretty famous place and known for its Chinese delicacies. The ambience was good but a not so happening. The food was really good and had authentic Chinese taste in it. Took mixed rice noodles and Cantonese chicken. We really liked the flavour of the rice noodles and the Cantonese chicken was good but I won't order it again. The drinks were really good. The only drawback I felt is the service, it was really slow. Otherwise it's a worth visit.

one of the hidden gems of Park Street, Kolkata. Starting with the theme and ending with the service, this place is very good for a weekend meet-up, a reunion, and every other small occasion. The main attraction of this place is its calmness and refreshing theme. The food is also brilliant here and quite pocket friendly compared to others in this area. Under 1000 rupees, three adults can enjoy a wholesome meal here. Other pocket friendly options are alcohol here. Seriously Recommend from me.
