This is one of the best South Indian food shop in Kolkata. I have eaten dosa in many places, but this is one of the best I have ever eaten ❤️. The coconut chatni is just amazing! The thick, concentrated chatni is mesmerizing 😋. I visit this shop again and again just to have masala dosa here. Behaviour of the staffs is very good. Nearest railway station- Bidhannagar rail station Nearest Bus stop- Ultadanga Some features of the shop- 1) UPI payment available 2) ♿ wheelchair accessible entrance and car parking not available as it is a small shop. 3) seperate seating area not available.

The sambar is as authtic you can get even the chutney tastes amazing. The cheese masala Dosa is the best here. A heavy dose of cheese in the masala dosa will surely curb your hunger. The price is pocket friendly but there is no seating arrangement. The place is small and can be missed if you are not looking for it. My verdict is do visit this place of you are craving south Indian food.

This is the best South Indian Food Restaurant I have ever tried. The owner is originally from Madurai, Tamilnadu. You can taste authentic South Indian Taste in Kolkata at affordable price. Seating arrangement is very small. Only one small bench is available and 2-3 people can stand and eat inside the ver narrow hotel. I tried their Masala Dosa, ₹50.00 served with Coconut Chutney and Sambar. Dosa was well stuffed vegetables and big. Big enough to fill up your stomach. 3 mins walking distance from Bidhannagar Road Railway Station. Must Visit.

One of the best dosa at a reasonable price. Masala dosa is only 50 rupees, the test is really good. Whenever I visit bidhannagar I come here and eat dosa. There is no sitting arrangement or place to eat peacefully but their test attracting me every time. Five star ⭐ only for their test and cheap price.

This is a small shop near Ultadanga crossing and bidhannagar road, but the taste of the dhosa and idli vada they make is just delicious and at a pocket friendly price. The food is very hygienic, tasty and healthy. Due to the COVID situation I would recommend the viewer to take delivery from the shop your self and have it at home. They always wrap the dhosas and idlis in banana leaf that gives a different taste. Go and have some dhosas! 😁

Very affordable and best food, it's really delicious. After eating gfrom so many places, looking for good south Indian food I find here...what a satisfaction I can't explain even

This is most probably the best South Indian food joint in kolkata currently, They serve almost authentic south indian foods, may be better than few of the Tamilnadu/Bengaluru food joints, plus it is so so reasonable. So it's 100% recommendation from my side. Now if you have any hygienic issue than this place could have been a problem for you, but you can bypass this problem just bring your own paper plate and plastic spoons or you can parcel this food and enjoy the taste, also there is no proper seating arrangements. I tried one butter masala dosa One butter masala uttapam two of the cost around 195 Both are good full with staffs but for me the salt was killer may be they added so much butter that it becomes salty so this is the only issue i found. Overall very good Place must visit for south indian food lovers. Best South Indian food near bidhannagar station . I tried butter masala dhosa , which was very big in size and full of masala , just very tasty and full with butter. It carries authentic taste price just rs/- 80 served in banana leaves which gives great aroma . So Must try.

This shop is situated at Ultadanga, near Bidhannagar Road Rail station. I regular eat here, the food items are just awesome, you will feel the original South Indian taste, the preparation of all dises so carefully-neat and clean. The items are so pure, fresh and genuine. The service are so fast and good. All the prices are very reasonable. Only one thing that makes you uncomfortable is the space of the shop, it is so narrow and there is no seat like a restaurant, the place is very conjusted. Parcel system available.

South Indian Food Love is this place. Very reasonably priced with Quality at its mark, this place is favourite to many Calcuttans . Though there's no parking arrangements by this joint still customers prefer to park it elsewhere and walk down to taste the beauty of South India. Highly Recommended

Regular customer of them cause of good taste.. No doubt worth it. They are Unique and decent, Masala dhosa at 40 ₹ is so different form other famous south indian restaurant.. And sambar and narkel grevy is so thick and pure. Seriously they made all the thing outstanding. ❤

Best food in reasonable price... tasty and staff's are so polite

This is is probably the best place for South Indian food if you're in Ultadanga. Price is very reasonable and quantity is sufficient, in fact, more than enough. This shop (I won't call it restaurant because it's too small for being categorized as a restaurant) is open from 7 am to 9 pm 7 days a week. I'll highly recommend this if you wanna have some South Indian dishes around this area. They don't do home delivery though because of lack of staffs.

31st March 2023 A good place to have south Indian food at Ultadanga, run by the south Indians. But the desire is be centred on food, not comfort. One has to stand and eat inside the narrow interior or seat on a chair holding the plate on the adjacent footpath. The dosa is delicious, complimented by the thick coconut chutney. And the prices are very economical (to the point of unbelievable)! The place is high in demand, especially among youngsters. So, though the cooking goes on without a break, one may have to wait a while during peak hours.

This place is good for Dosa. I really enjoyed a lot eating here. Very much tasty and coconut chutney is thick than other joints. Samber is also good. Really enjoyed their food.

Good south indian eating joint. Got tempted to try it after reading reviews. Food is good considering it's price point. Obviously, You can get better south indian food in kolkata like Vaango in south city and acropolis mall but those cost around Rs 160-180 per plate. Over here you can get a masala dosa at around Rs 45. I tried cheese butter masala dosa which costed me Rs 90 and 1 vada for Rs 15. Overall, it's a good road side food joint for south indian dishes.

Located in Kolkata, this is one of the best South Indian food shops. There will be no question about the quality of the food, in one word, excellent. But two to three times I got human hair in this shop during meal time for which I don't go to this shop again.
