I Don't have many things to say just don't want to go there again will not recommend gou guys any way. We ordered 2 plate chicken biriyani 1 plate chicken chowmin 1 plate chilie chicken Biriyani was far away for something we know Biriyani taste was just not there, quantity is good chicken leg piece was there and Aloo is also there. Chicken chowmin once again quantity is superb, but chicken was hard as nails as my toothache started, chowmin was not cooked properly but they took decent enough time to bring the food to our table after the order. Chilie chicken is the worst of worst, I mean I never ate something like this as a chilie chicken i felt the cheap chilie sauce taste too much, colour of the food was just not ok, taste wise it is horrible, and so small pieces of chicken with big cover of flour. UTTERLY DISAPPOINTED THEY TRIED TO MAKE US FOOD WHICH IS REALLY NOT GOOD ADVERTISE AT THIS TIME WHEN ALL FOOD JOINTS ARE TRYING SOMETHING TO BRING BACK THE CUSTOMERS FOOD LOVERS TO THE RESTAURANT. Lets leave it for this, hope very soon will come up with another restaurant photos and my view till then stay safe stay healthy and eat well. TATA

My Best choice for hanging out with friends and family in New Market area. Have A.C. and Non A.C. both. Varieties of dishes available. Best is Roasted Chicken.

TERRIBLE! DISASTER! PATHETIC! We opted to go for AC Dining and it was smelling like hospital inside. Once the menu came, we decided to take Fish Kabiraji and asked the waiter, 'Betki or Basa is used for Kabiraji'. He answered, 'AMRA TO JANINA SIR, AMRA TO MARKET E JAINA'. ('We don't know sir, we don't go to market'). We were terrified. We took Chicken Momo as we wanted to get out of the place. When the momo came, it was cold and stale. Even they gave soup without spoon. Don't ever go to this place .

It's no fancy place. But reasonable price for good food. And the amount was sufficient. All that you can expect from an eatery running for so many years

we ordered two chicken biriyanis and a chicken butter masala. the food was good and the quantity was also good. sitting arrangement wise they have both ac and non ac portions. the place is not too trendy but it has some heritage charm to it. staffs are good and polite now come to the main part. the food was good as we expected. At Esplanade i guess this the place where you should go to grab biriyani instead of going to aminiya.

It's @friedrice is the most amazing thing you'll taste ever💗 It's situated in the heart of new market and serves the tastiest yet pocket friendly meals available, I've had multiple meals here including fried rice, chowmein, veg corn soup, chilli paneer, chilli chicken and mughlai paratha, everything was amazing and worth traveling that far to eat but the show stealer is the egg fried rice for me. I would totally suggest people to visit this place for a hearty meal.

Today (18/11/2023), we asked for fish kobiraji, the served the plate with insects, try to avoid this type of restaurant

Quantity is too less...one plate fried rice worth Rs200 is only edible for one person. We ordered Schezwan chicken worth ₹280 which had absolutely no gravy no onions nothing just 6 pieces of chicken whose sizes were too small. Won't recommend. Absolutely not worth it.

It's very very very Bad.. Please Dont go this Karco restudent. Coldrinks each MRP 20 rs.. but they charged each 40.. when I ask .. then counter boy say Ac charge etc... They provide GST number wrong nd Provide it stamp... cash memo... also Food Contity very chip.

Spacious. Easy to locate. Reasonably priced and one of the oldest restaurants in Kolkata. Great Service. Will definitely visit again.

Place is ok, but the food is not. Better go for a road side stall, taste will be better and it would cost you less than 50% of the bill that would incur at this restaurant.

A place of old emotions fallen into dump 1) chicken pakoda atleast 3 times fried to blackness 2) momo felt like dipped in oil 3) i have had better coffee in the streets Only pro is cost, i doubt u can get a less costly resto anywhere in central kolkata

Good quality with efford able price. Very minimum heads are going there. That's why it's really quite. But they need to repair the restaurant as it's look very old

The ambience and the service was average. We got a chicken cutlet and a mughlai parantha. The former was bit pricey according to its size and taste and the latter was good

Its 85 year old restaurant in New Market. Price is very much pocket friendly, with a good ambience.

I was pretty unaware of this place and regret not knowing it for these years. Great place and amazing food!! Worth Visiting!!

It's very disappointing to see such an old heritage restaurant going down with it's terrible food quality, service and ambience. Even the street foods in the area are far better than what this restaurant serves now. Never expected this from this old heritage place. Would recommend people not to waste their money on this.
