Folks- I posted a bad review initially as I was hugely disappointed with the Basa owners behaviour.. But the food maniac within me kept pushing me to visit this place and atleast on one another Sunday, I went hunting this place and finally I arrived at this Gujarati Basa. One can not locate this place as there are no signages, but it is well popular in the loactlity. The entrance is very poor and you need to amass courage to keep moving up.. This place is not usually meant for family, but if u want to experience real good food and ignore a few “entrance ambience” go for it.Invisited with my wife and daughter and they loved the food. cost of thali was Rs180 per person. Had a good feeling about this place, from all the good reviews. And it certainly didn't disappoint. Food was fantastic and very fresh. Kitchen is clean and the staff are all very courteous. Though, the entry is impossible to locate without asking around. There is no signboard anywhere. Reach the location and then ask anyone to show you the entry. This restaurant is located at the 2nd floor in an old building. The approach was shabby which made us a little apprehensive about what to expect. But once we started eating, all our doubts vanished and we ended up having a great dinner. Do give it a try if you are able to digest the tricky and unkept approach. Thali is ₹130/head No parking available Portion is unlimited.

Very tasty and homely vegetarian food. The most nice part is that they don't let you waste food.

It's tasty but somehow couldn't justify the Rs160 for this thali. You can have unlimited qty on spot. The area is very clean. It's a task to locate this 2nd floor restaurant.

Very clean with friendly, warm staff, PURE veg but you need to ask for the entrance, no sign, and climb dingy stairs to the roof top where atmosphere is cool and fresh. Inexpensive and top notch! I will be back.

It's a B graded Tin shaded terrace place..not advisable for heart patients, for eating very ordinary food..there food is meant for labour class people..just avoid the place ..as per the food served it should not be charged more than 50 rupees..

Just delicious homely taste. Gujarati thali is available and you can eat or parcel it. Very reasonable and unlimited food. Clean and tidy sitting area. Highly recommended.

Nostalgic, been here almost after 15 years, had a hard time locating it though. Still the Meethi Dal 🥰. Usually you get 3 sabji+chutney+farsan+salad nimbu+chapati/poori+rice. This is a unlimited thali @170 Also, the sunday menu includes dessert.
