A popular vegetarian restaurant in Barabazar area. South Indian food items and snacks are very popular here. The prices are bit high but quality is good.

I had last visited this place almost 30 years back and again visited recently. I generally used to sit upstairs but by the time i reached there it was already late so that upstairs part was closed. I have always been a fan of their Dosa. So this time I also ordered one. Even after staying in South India for almost 17 years, hands down they make the best Dosa.

They served vegetarian dishes mostly South Indian but the taste is not up to mark because of no onion garlic as it should be included to make it taste awesome. A little bit overpriced in comparison to nearby other shops. Area is spacious but not properly managed and no AC rooms are there in this congested area.

A quite reasonable shop for savory items in Burrabazar area , its beside Tiwari Brothers . I personally like their tea , sambad vada & club kachori ,though I haven't tried their other savory stuff. Definitely will explore their other savory items from the menu next time I visit this place.

It feels like you are sitting in typical northindian restaurant. Good place to have dine in. Taste is awesome. Customer friendly staff and owner. You will get northindian snacks and southindian meal with kulhad chai...

Tasted tea costing 15/- which was strong in effect and has the taste of clove in it. I would strongly recommend to try Pavva Patti which is made of one Pavva of pure milk i.e. 250 ml costing 40/- in morning time.

Tasted the "famous" masala tea (Rs. 15) here today. It was not good on taste , there were hint of spice in tea which was good but milk itself was too watery. Khasta kachuri was ok.

Tasty and yum bites in a budget. So on a busy shopping day one can have a great food experience at burrabazar. If Ambiance is a concern then avoid this place.

one of the oldest shop in this area...they provide tea, coffee & many other snacks...this is beside Tiwari Brothers...You get the quality food items...must visit

Nothing to say much. Only name is enough but yes the name is not made over night. They provide tea, snacks in very reasonable price just beside the hyped overpriced Tewari bros. Crowd says the word , anyone can understand standing in front of the shop. This is one of the oldest shops in this area and still carrying on business without unnecessary price hike. Hope this will carry on and be the people's shop for tea break and snack out without giving much pocket pinch. Liked it, one of my recommended shops.

😐 Simply come here for the atmosphere and history. Nothing should be eaten here. Cold coffee was a letdown. It was cold water that had been sweetened with a pinch of coffee. The fish kaviraji was satisfactory. Despite the fact that there is a no-smoking sign on the premises, I observed people smoking...

👍👍 Recently visited this place and trust me, it was worth every penny. The ambiance was great. We had Mutton Chello Kebab. The kebabs were very juicy and tender, I couldn't stop drooling! The egg yolk was runny and just perfect. The rice portion had a nice fresh smell and all together it was magical in...
