The quality of the food is up to mark. But the price isn't set properly it's too high according to the quantity they are providing. Ambience is average. One thing to mention is that there is live music and the singers are really appreciable. Hookah is also available over there. Overall moderate bar cum restaurant. One time visit from my side.

Great place. Nice ambience. Good was really tasty and it will also take care of your pocket. Service was fine and you can avail Dineout. Easy location and a great recommendation of group visits. The sanitizing management is also good. Price is also not too high and y mocktails should be a must try. Thank you.

The place is nicely decorated and has good ambience. It's a good place for people who love watching sports. There are a variety of options for food lovers but service is a tad slow and some items impress but others leave something to be desired . I liked the paneer tikka and the lasagne they offer

All together was good, but could have been better. The ambience was good, but light was very dim and gloomy. Good lighting setup for a bar but when your are planning both food+ drinks, not a good place to hangout. I feel price was bit over priced for every item. Although the food quality and quality was sufficient. The staff are extremely polite and helpful. The live singing will definitely add good mood. They don't have much items on North Indian dishes, mainly Chinese and continental. Sisha also available but again bit costly compared to other places. No dedicated smoking zone is there inside the restaurant, valent parking available. There are small private cabins which is truly beautiful with attached television. Located just opposite to The Wall restaurant at Southern avenue. Must try: Any Chinese Dishes Pork items Deserts and Shredded Chicken in starters Breads are very over priced starting from 85 for a single piece, no biryani available.

I went there for lunch. We ordered Chicken Cheese Fingers, Chicken Stroganoff, Chicken A la kiev and two mocktails. The chicken cheese fingers had no cheese in it and tasted like normal chicken nuggets. It was not worth the price. But the Chicken Stroganoff and Chicken A la kiev was excellent. The staff seemed a bit slow and our orders also were a bit slow to come. So better come with some time. Overall, the food and Ambience was very nice.

The Ambiance was very nice and luxurious in some sense... 🔮 There some live performance of music 🎶 when you enter and me and my friends just love it 💥 We take a private booth and it's spacious enough. 👍 Comes tho the other aspect it server hookah and a wide variety of alcohol and there is my slight disappointed 😪 the mark up price of beer 🍺 and other alcohol 🍷is very high. Pint of beer is 300 minimum😶. But i think the food 🍱 was good 👍 we doesn't tried many 🍜... And There is 8 page fooled menu.. Wide variety and bizarre in some sense 😅 but it doesn't hurt to have option. Some priced well reasonable.🚩

"Hola" to all of my foodie friends over here. Recently i visited this place named "HOLA". From decoration to the food to the behaviour of staffs , everything was top notch. And one of the best part is over there you can get personal cabins too ,there will be no trouble of booking tables. For a romantic date or any other celebration, this place is perfect. Now am coming to the food. I really really loved all the dishes i tried. *Crispy lotus stem- Being a noj veg lover,i never loved any vegetable preparation that much, but trust it was not so different. It was amazingly made with different spices and presented beautifully. *Conjee crispy chicken- It was delightfully savoury. It was crispy, crunchy and flavourful. *Cottage cheese ball - My love for chees is never ending. And here the cheese balls were very crispy and loaded with cheese. I so loved it. *Prawn dynamite - The prawn and the sauce together; as if it's made in heaven. Little crunchy prawns were coated with some spiced batter. It was amazingly made. *Breast chicken shittake mushroom- Chicken pieces were made with mushroom. The flavour was so strong. The mushroom and the chicken pieces were so juicy. I'll highly recommend to try this! The dessert we tried- *Salami- It was a plate full of round chocolate salamis with chocolate sauce and extra chocolate cream. The dark chocolate with different nuts tasted like heaven. I'm quite skeptical about choice of chocolates but it woowed my mind. Also tried Tetrazini Noorani seekh kebab Veg fried rice Noodles Pocket pinch was not that high. Ill definitely recommend this place,im gonna visit this place soon again Ps. Im swearing on "Salami " ,it was so damn amazing ❤️

Nice but one problem they have done is they gave others dish which we have ordered, which is not justified because if someone is eating veg if they give non veg it is not good. Staff should be active with proper information. Location - 5/5 Quantity - 5/5 Quality - 4.5/5 Staff - 2/5 Presentation - 5/5 Ambience 3/5 Price - Expensive ($$$ out of $$$$$) Value for Money - 3/5 Overall - 3.5/5 X Factor (I loved the Most) - The live singing is the x factor for this restaurant.

A beautiful n well designed place. Food was finger licking. Staff was good but sometimes little too interfering like asking too many times how is the food even before starting. Request management of resturant to teach them that we r not happy with breach of privacy. It's our family time. Rest a very smartly done up place. Happily will do many more visits to this place.

Embracing the New Normal with a plethora of good food at HOLA With the ongoing trend of eating indoors, given to the stressful situation we are in, Hola Kolkata ensures precautionary safety and heightened hygiene and sanitation practices and measures have been implemented. The FnB industry is enforcing precautionary measures for guests and issuing hygiene and safety advisories following disclosures of new COVID 19 cases in India. Where? The address reads 40a, Dr.Sarat Banerjee Rd, lake Terrace, Ballygunge. This is very near to Deshapriya Park. What steps are they taking to maintain safe standard? Besides regular body temperature checks and disclosures of cough and cold symptoms from guests, Hola Kolkata is taking a step forward to ensure a safe dining experience which is absolutely . It is also providing a disposable gloves to you incase you want to serve for your table. The food came in a rotating and moving tray, thereby minimizing any contacts with any other working personnel in the restaurant. The next seats ready to be occupied was more than a considerable distance apart. They are providing a disposable menu which you can waive off once you are done. They have these mist sanistisers which are absolutely handy and available. What did we gorge on? Sansei Stir Fry broccoli - The presence of Szechuan chillies, cashews and onions made this broccoli stir fry a hit. The crisp broccoli with tang made it all the way more enjoyable. Chicken Teriyaki Bao - This fabulous Teriyaki Chicken sandwich filling is perfectly freshly steamed Chinese Buns made with lotus root flour and I was indeed smitten and floored by the whole flavour profile. The mild sprinkling of the sesame seeds makes it crisp yet supple. Dry Roasted Chilli Pork - I don't speak much when Roasted Chilli Pork is around. I just prefer to eat. The perfect pork slices with the bellu, and the dark soy and vinegar is indeed a deadly combo! Chicken in Kam Heong Sauce with Burnt Garlic Mixed Rice - The Stir- Fried Chicken with chinese garlic sauce has its confluence from Malaysia and India. This perfectly teamed with the texture of the Burnt Garlic Mixed Fried rice having that smoky aroma and that was cut down but the fragrance of the Kam Jeong Sauce. Porcini Mushroom Risotto with Truffle Oil - Truffle mushroom risotto starring porcini mushrooms ticks all the boxes. Easy to rejoice with affordable, gourmet ingredients like dried porcini & truffle oil is to absolutely die for. The combination of Porcini Mushroom, Shitake Mushroom and Button Mushroom was simply marvellous. So, if you deciding to dine in the new normal with all the safety precautions, Hola is the ultimate safe haven for foodies as you. Cheers!

🅷🅾🅻🅰 ! It's time to cherish after so long and to break the chain and enjoy to fullest. For us, Durga Puja is the best way to celebrate .. The city is decking up while everyone had started planning what to wear, where to go, what to eat moreover you can say just making plans how to celebrate these festive days ! As we are decking up, our favourite restaurants also started planning to serve us specially with their specially curated menu for those days. Newly introduced Items specially curated for those days - Drinks - 🍑 Peach Elderflower Iced Tea 🍷Yuzu Spritzer 🍿 Popcorn Shake Starters - 🧆 Chicken ala kiev 🐟 Fish Kalmi Kebab 🐷 Roasted garlic pork ribs 🍄 Melting Mushroom 🧀 Paneer65 🍟Nachos Bhel Mains - 🍜 Zed Noodles 🐥Tao's Chicken My pick 👉 Chicken Ala Kiev, Roasted Garlic Pork Ribs, Fish Kalmi Kebab, Melting Mushroom and Tsao's Chicken. 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐀𝐥𝐚 𝐊𝐢𝐞𝐯 - It was delicious indeed served with sauteed veggies and mashed potato. Taste which matters the most and am sure you won't be disappointed. 𝐅𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐢 𝐊𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐛 - It's all about fish kebab and you can't make it bad. One of the best items on the list, made with pure bhetki fillets. The kebab was soft, tendered and juicy almost melts while you put it in your mouth. The fish was properly marinated with ingredients making it perfectly smoky after the grill. 𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 - Small mushroom topped with mashed potatoes with good amount of cheddar cheese. Yes, it was melting indeed. 𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐑𝐢𝐛𝐬 - The first thing about pork is the quality and it's great I must say. The classic grilled pork ribs cooked with perfection with smoky and bbq sauce flavours while glazed with soy and bean sauce. It was served with sauteed veggies and mashed potato. Served in a sizzler tray. 𝐓𝐬𝐚𝐨'𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 - Chicken pieces tossed in sweet and soy sauce with garlic, onion and bell peppers. Great one. Thanks to the whole team of Hola specially Bijoy, Pradip, Mithun, Shivnath, Sourav and Abbey.

The atmosphere is nice and cozy, and the space is cool for hanging out with friends and having a good time. The staff were warm and friendly. As for the food, we ordered a dish called cheese chicken finger which was a big miss for us. It tasted stale and not good. Other than that, we loved the Cantonese noodles and the Pan-fried chili fish, both are highly recommended from a picky eater like me.

We went on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. We found the food at best average according to the standards and servings. We started with a couple of mocktails and the laksa soup. The soup itself had the correct taste with the blend of coconut milk and shrimp paste, but lacked in ingredients on the inside. The laksa soup is famous for its accompaniments like boiled noodles, shredded chicken, prawns and eggs. I found have an egg and a few shrimps along with a bit of vermicelli. The grilled fish sizzler had pieces of marinated fish which tasted nice. The chicken sizzler however was very chewy and fibrous and lacked the juicyness of the steak. Chicken stoganoff lacked the thick cream on top of it, but serving portion was adequate. Lastly, they made a mess of the indonesian chicken satay by adding excess of the flavour and converting it into a very salty item. I suppose we should have stuck to the standard items as the continental and pan asian courses lacked the finesse. The overall ambience was nice and service was also standard.

We went on a Sunday night. We reached late but thankfully we got a place. Some cozy corners were there. We took a fish fry consisting of 5 pieces, prawn balls, fish tikka and chicken casserole. Though i didn't like chicken casserole, bit chewy but creamy. Some might like it. We had Zomato carnival offer so our bill had flat 50% off.

This small restaurant, located in the Southern Avenue, is a good place to hangout with friends and family. The taste of the food here was excellent. We tried the: 1) Chicken Steak sizzler 2) Hola special Chicken kebab 3) Tangra style chilli chicken 4) Schezwan noodles 5) Pan-fried chilli fish 6) Chicken tikka Masala 7) Chicken Manchow soup And all of them were amazing choices. Though at this juncture, I would say it would be good if they extended their menu more towards the north-indian side. The ambience here, is good, if not excellent. With dim lighting, and a number of shisha options, it hits the spot. The service was very good. When here in kolkata, wanting good food, sure try this one out!

We had a mixed experience at Hola. To be fair, we did visit them during the Zomato carnival which might have affected their behaviour. The carnival menu was too limited. We ordered many things outside the offer at regular prices because we wanted to eat well. I think that was acceptable. The staff, however, were incredibly rude. Besides, the restaurant doesn't have a smoking room, which is one of the basic amenities in Kolkata. We would have gone for the food again, if it were not for unsatisfactory overall experience.

We went there to celebrate our friends birthday which was on a weekday. Even though it was a weekday the place was a packed house. On ambience part things are kept cool & swanky but in a normal way. The staff was courteous but just we felt they lack in knowledge of menu items which they can improve. There was ample space to sit but was a bit conjusted. Starters and main course were good. We ordered almost all the items on menu (VEG). A must visit place for all.

The restaurant has a lot to offer in terms of ambience. Personal cubes with TV, live music performance, very courteous staff. In terms of taste of food, the Mac and cheese was perfect. But that's it. The service is very slow especially after 3pm. The portion is pretty less compared to the price especially for pitcher or kababs. Overall a pretty decent restaurant but definitely not economical.

Average ambiance A bit too stuffy, probably to accomodate people Prepared a nice strong hookah Food was great It's disappointing to not have pizza at such a great place also no Bira. Also the menu is all over the place, it needs better organization! There was no temperature check, waiters are mostly wearing masks below their nose, there's no proper sanitisation done at the tables after the guests leave. However they have sanitizer bottles with open caps, not sure of the effectiveness. It's better to carry your own sanitizers.

Loved the ambience and vibe of the place. The Chocolate Peanut Butter Milkshake was an absolute delight. The Irish Coffee was a bit of a let down. The pork ribs tasted good and were delivered in pieces but I prefer them as a single slice of pork but nevertheless it tasted really nice. The Chocolate Salami with Chocolate Mousse was a delight. And the place is worth a visit for just this dessert. Definitely a must try place.

One of the most popular destinations at South Kolkata for the foodies launches their Puja menu from today. Hola is the favorite for all the food lovers for their vast menu, ambience and ample options for vegetarian dishes. This year, their puja menu has mouth watering options. We tried a few of them.. Noorani Seekh Kabab: Minced chicken shaped into seekh kabab and grilled nicely. The kababs were crunchy from the outside and soft inside. Cottage cheese balls: One of my favorites from the day. Fluffy balls made of cottage cheese in tangy and sweet sauce. The sauce had a refreshing taste of kafir lime leaves which really gave it an awesome twist. Prawn Dynamite: Prawns crumbed and deep fried. A perfect companion for a grass of chilled beer. Congy Crispy Chicken: Another perfect dish to go with cocktails and beer. The sauce was delicious and the chicken tasted great. Crunchy lotus stem: This is one of the vegetarian item not available in many restaurants in kolkata. Crunchy lotus stem, tasted delicious in sweet and sour gravy. Chicken breast with Shitake Mushrooms: Chicken pieces cooked with shitake mushrooms in a gravy. The shitake complimented the the chicken very nicely. Tetrazzini: A crowd pleaser continental dish consisting of Spaghetti, creamy white sauce and a layer of melted cheese on the top. Salami: Unlike what the name suggests this is a dessert consisting of creamy chocolate mousse with discs of semi-sweet chocolate. Apart from this, we tried their fried rice and noodles which goes nicely with the main dishes. All in all, this puja, stay safe and enjoy this lip smacking food for a moderate pricing from Hola.

Good food, ambience, but basic thing like serving drinking water when you first enter a restaurant, they just forgot, and other thing like tissue paper, cleaning the table as soon as possible after the guest leave need to take care.
